Tyrese signs new 3 year contract

Good for him, I guess Carlton Morris will move on, either in Jan or in the summer, he must be approaching mid 20s by now and I don't remember him ever being near the first Team. -
I heard a rumour that Paul Lambert played for Dortmund though I'm sure he's never mentioned it.

I don't think Yeovil have ever played on a level playing field.... -
Top, but a long way to go

It's like groundhog day, he was the same after we crushed Leeds 2 years ago. Sure, we've won nothing yet but aren't we allowed to get a little ahead of ourselves? It's been a cr@p year and we need some cheering up. I said after the Leeds game that we were going up, I'm thinking that if we can get positive results against Cardiff and Watford we're going to need the Town Hall again. -
If Emi leaves in January or end of season

Top 3 in the Championship

If they don't go down the European Super League route, it's likely to be a Prem 1&2. Two divisions of say 16 or 18 Teams. In the 'hope' of spreading the wealth, of course this will only be agreed as long as the big Clubs retain control of the rules...... and the wealth. -
That'll be it Fuzz🤣

I had a year off this forum, couldn't for the life of me remember why ...... ah.

Now now, I'm not having anyone disrespecting Oxford, remember that they won the League Cup back in the 80s, with legends like Ray Houghton gracing their side and Robert Maxwell bankrolling their time in the top flight. They have 'a history ' and 'tradition' and there's 'a legacy to consider. In short we can only dream of watching the undoubted quality on offer between two of football's' giants.

I hope they apologize the next time they put 1p5wich on the telly, I'm wondering how it'll be categorized, you wouldn't call it sport, even drama would be a stretch, maybe comedy could cover it but I'm more inclined to call it a horror show.

Mean while at Portman road

If there's a saving grace for them, it's that their rivals at the top of League One are doing a great job of keeping them in the hunt for promotion. That said, I doubt that they are good enough to go the distance, meaning that, in a p1ss poor League they're likely to fall short again. -
And so it begins... Emi linked with Arsenal

On another thread we were discussing "going under the radar " and this was exactly the point I was making..... and we're only just in December. -
Stoke away predictions

Can't argue with much of that.... except 1p5wich aren't competition for fans, or anything else. -
Can't agree, this is prime pre- transfer window territory. The media will be looking for juicy gossip to fill column inches for the next month, we may have held on to Aaron's and Emi over the summer but now, with the desperate dregs at the bottom of the Prem looking to top up their options for the run in, who are likely candidates to be of interest? The media aren't going to be talking about some mid-table journeyman, they're looking for the next big thing, a'wizard' like Emi, with all the stats to back him up, playing for 'top of the Table' Norwich. (Regardless of how we're playing) will be just what they're looking for.

Er, the media radar......

Oops, you're right, that was Brum.....🤐

There's 3 points between us and 7th who we play midweek. Reading have dropped like a stone over this round of results. Even Blackburn, who are 14th and we beat, have a better goal difference. We're one injured striker away from having a real problem and, while I'm enjoying the ride, I'm also realistic enough to know that this can all change very soon.... So no Buh, the League isn't ours, yet.

Monumental display from Grant Hanley
splendidrush replied to Pugin's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Nice to hear the positives for GH, at the start of last season he was being crucified by a lot of people despite playing with injuries and the step up in quality. It may be the case that he is not a Premiership standard CB but at this level he's a leader, something we're going to need if we want to get back to the Premiership. We may have to look elsewhere if we do go up but for now he's playing well, setting an example and is very much part of that mean defence in front of TK.... Long may it continue. -
Tbh, despite our injury list I'd much rather see DF play one of the kids for a few games, I've heard nothing to suggest that Drmic has the ability or desire to resurrect his career here, so let's move on
-
Nicely under the radar shef, let's get through till Christmas and see where we are. Our injuries are a cause for concern and I can see some bumps in the road ahead. Of course we should enjoy the moment but we've won nothing yet. OTBC.

.... Not having this, our biggest attendance was obviously 100,000 at Wemberlee, in 73, 75 and 85! You choose😉
