Hwang looks bereft of any meaningful football talent. I'd rather see Daniel Ogwuru given his chance to contribute...

Thankfully the perceived barrier you describe is a 'you thing' - not a 'general/applies to everyone thing'. It's your opinion, your feelings & that's perfectly fine. Knowing both Jack & Chris personally, my views are somewhat different to yours. There's good reason the likes of Jake Humphrey & Simon Thomas have freely mentored them - and even more reason Chris Goreham, Rob Butler & the BBC are comfortable to give Chris a regular radio broadcast opportunity. I haven't listened to the Scrimmage before, however I intend to now...

TNC has it's say
Norfolk Mustard replied to cambridgeshire canary's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
At the point of writing, I think Jack calls it right. Thing is, a lot can change for the better before September & should that happen, I dare say Jack will adjust his thoughts accordingly. I didn't agree with him calling for Farke to be sacked, however I consider him to be an astute, considerate guy - as is Chris Reeve. -
The Lad from Leixlip

Just watched it & found it mildly interesting during the closed season. Nice development story, shame he's up for sale by NCFC... -
Shane Duffy’s heading ability
Norfolk Mustard replied to Chichcan's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Looking at his highlight reels, Duffy is pretty good at scoring with downward headers from corners. Could be a real game-changer to see NCFC taking an early lead with one or two of those... Mind you, he hasn't signed for us yet has he? -
Young hungry goal scorer
Norfolk Mustard replied to For the future's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
I don't think Sargent or Idah are anything special; they fluff so many chances it's often painful to watch. Maybe it's a lack of confidence come match day; if they were that poor in training they'd never be pro footballers, so I live in hope they find their shooting boots sooner than later. Meanwhile, we really do need a sharp 19-26 year old goalscorer to lead the line who plays without fear. As @BroadstairsR mentioned, with inevitable injuries they'll all be required over the season... -
You're playing with words! Whilst it wasn't a firm promise, SW is literally quoted that he was 'super-confident' (of a second signing within a week). Given it didn't happen, perhaps there's been a glitch. Btw: Why do you reference 'it's not rocket science' as if to indicate others should interpret things in the same way as you? Sounds condescending.

Pretty sure he said that in one of his interviews. Either way, EDP reported 20th May (10 days ago): "We've already started with Ashley Barnes," Webber said. "I'm super confident in the next week we'll be announcing our second new signing." https://www.edp24.co.uk/sport/23536313.norwich-city-transfer-news-canaries-announce-new-signing-next-week/ Either way, he's behind on that...

Exactly, seems a case of SW over-promising & under-delivering! His version of 'imminent' seems rather different to mine...

I saw Tina Turner perform at Portman Road in 1990: https://www.ipswichstar.co.uk/news/23545927.tina-turner-pop-star-performed-portman-road-1990/ and again at Wembley in 2000. Both times we were well aware we were in the company of a music legend. Fabulous entertainer...

Goodbye Kieran Dowell..

No. The transfer has just been confirmed by the ever-reliable Chris Reeve at TNC... -
Tyrone Mings is a first connection in my LinkedIn network; the next 'Tyrone Mings Academy' event is a charity golf day at The Belfry on Monday 29th May. They plan to buddy each team of 3 with a celeb / well-known person. I wonder if he plays golf with the same mentality he brings to football? 🙂

50% extra would equate to adding a further 45 mins to a full game!

TNC on Sara

Replace 'Sanctimonious' with 'Emotionally Intelligent' and you'd be a lot more accurate @yellowrider120! The words you use in this post say far more about your personal beliefs than it does about those you're describing. -
Aarons and Omobamidele to be sold

Given Max Johnson from Motherwell is reported to have had a tour of NCFC, I wouldn't expect Bali Mumba to be shoehorned into the RB position. The club are looking to strengthen that position... https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/local-sport/norwich-city-trip-motherwell-star-30003068 -

Farke to be sacked
Norfolk Mustard replied to cambridgeshire canary's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Sorry, I'm with @Parma Ham's gone mouldy on this one. As someone who totally 'gets' NCFC & its culture, DF would be a glorious DoF appointment here. -
I believe we need defenders, defensive midfielders AND a top striker (not a 'just' another forward - a pure goal-scorer). Talking of forward players, I don't rate Idah or Sargent; both of those could easily be replaced.

'Distance Reiki' really is a thing. Having experienced it, the sheer accuracy of the written report that followed totally blew me away. -

A mass walk-out on 22 minutes in recognition of The Goat's final game might get some serious media attention...
