I think there is a real lack of confidence in the squad. When we went 1-0 down last night you could see the heads drop and knew we were not in the game anymore. I think there are some big changes required and hope Lambert is given the backing by the board to come in and make them.

I am with you on this, particularly as he had to uproot and travel halfway around the world to help out his old club. Think the word has been positive on his coaching so hope a role can be found for him, surely Culverhouse would not mind working with him.

I think the problem is that a huge part of management nowadays is pr. We all saw the impact that bringing in Keane had down the road. I am not saying he is a better manager than any of the three I mentioned before, but being a ''name'' he brings with him a certain gravitas that reinvigorates the club. I just hope whoever we appoint is backed by the board a bit better than Gunn.
