1. Micheal Turner is in well over his level constant mistakes at the back causing goals and with bassong not at 100% this season makes things worse, last season when bassong was firing on all cylinders turner had some one to mop up his mess. We should have bought another CB during the summer. I don''t understand why Redmond isn''t starting regularly obviously he''s now recovering from an injury so are we likely to see him against wet spam?
2. Many of the Barclay booed also so the "tiny" Hughton out "gang" is a bit bigger than you think
3. We will have a new manager in by then so he will want to add his touch to the team
4. OUT - December it could be to late no it will be to late
5. I have a twitter feed full of fans that want shot of him. Yes morty their are people that don''t agree with you deal with it D!ck
6.
Let''s give an objective analysis on the results this season so far, and really ask ourselves whether it is fair to call for Hughton to leave the Club. Firstly, let''s look at Chelsea (h), Spurs (a) and Arsenal (a). I think any reasonable fan would accept that anything more than 3 defeats from those games is a bonus, and Hughton should not be judged negatively for losing those games. Feel free to challenge my assumption! That leaves 6 games, as follows: Southampton (h) Won Stoke (a) Won Everton (h) Draw Cardiff (h) Draw A Villa (h) Lost Hull (a) Lost I would argue that we would not have expected 6 points from the two games won, particularly given Southampton''s excellent season so far, plus Stoke''s usually strong home record. Most reasonable fans would have expected perhaps 3 points from those two games. Everton was a good result against a top 7 side. Cardiff, equally, a disappointing result. We maybe would have expected 3/4 points from those games. Aston Villa we might have expected to draw/win. Hull, perhaps a draw/win would have been a reasonable expectation. 4 points from the two games would have been a good return, perhaps 3 would have been satisfactory. So looking at those games we might have expected 10 points. We have 8. We are slightly behind where we''d like to be ideally. Hughton out? Seems a little harsh on the evidence. So why not just admit, Hughton outers, that this has nothing to do with the above, simply because he is seen as ''negative''. Yet we had 31 goal attempts today...
You can''t just leave results out because we didn''t expect to get anything out if them I''ll ask the FA to remove the 3 points against man city last season because we didn''t expect to get them
7. I compleatly agree as I said I will sing every chant at the top of my voice with pride but not his name and just annoys me when people complain and do the opposite, I know it may seems petty. Oh and I will always support the team but doesn''t mean I have to support the manager
8. qwerty I suggest u take your yellow and green Hughton tinted glasses off and get a grip your self mate
9. Looking over this board today and it seams that the majority has now come to the same conclusion that Hughton had got to go. Only thing that annoys me is that surly people have been having doubts about him for at least the last 3 games and a lot of people came on here to voice thier doubts and yet half the barcly started chanting Hughtons yellow army just befor villa scored. Some people are so 2 faced it makes my insides boil. I will sing every chant other than hughtons yellow army as I want him out so their for I''m sticking to my guns if you feel the same way I suggest u do the same
10. YES, fed up with people saying give him a chance we gave him a chance all last season and scraped it, fans say pre season doesn''t matter but u could tell we were in trouble by those "performances" alone
11. He''s waiting for Hughton to get the sack and see if the next manager likes him or not..
12. I do like pilks however I feel that Redmond brings that little extra that we have been lacking so for me it would be Redmond.
13. The current crop of players in my opinion is far better than that of last season and yet for some reason we cant play a pass or build an attack with any real venom and In my opinion it begs the question what are they doing in training?? Why are we so unable to push the opposition back and make a tackle? In my opinion our worst trait. We just watch players and run back with out fighting for the ball and that investabley ends in a goal. I''m exteamly frustrated that absaloutly nothing has changed on the pitch even when we have invested millions of pounds worth of talent!
14.
So taking off two defensive midfielders for Snodgrass and Elmander is negative tactics is it????
Yea because that made a world of difference didnt it?! Because the formation was still flat and the midfield couldn''t distribute a ball to the front men even if they were standing next to each other!
15. If you are talking about when we are off the ball then I compleatly agree, last season we lacked this and it drives me mad. During pre season it looked as though we had worked on it especially against panathinaikos we really pressed them back in to their own half and won the ball back a lot higher up the pitch. If we had pressed Everton back they wouldn''t have scored their second we stood off and stood off and bang it''s in the back of the net!
