  1. "if you read it properly it says i went OUT with Play up Pompey! " I was there and saw and heard exactly what went on and when. So I know that it started long before the ejection.
  2. It''s a simple question. How does "Play up Pompey" fit with "no songs aimed at Soton fans, just a whole lot of Norwich love" then?
  3. "no songs aimed at Soton fans, just a whole lot of Norwich love" Oh really? How does "Play up Pompey" fit in with that then?
  4. "fraid not , under rules in these games the attendance is calculated by the number of prople through the turnstiles, otherwise they could tell you how many were in attendance before kickoff..." Ah! The epitome of the Oink ''Un. Breathtaking ignorance brazenly presented.
  5. Pink ''Un posters describing Canary Callers as "window-lickers" and "boring". Ah the delicious irony!
  6. Mr Munby still attends matches at Carrow Road. But the club absolutely refuse to say whether he pays to get in.
  7. The decision to place Munby in the Hall Of Fame cheapens the whole thing. He WAS NOT VOTED IN. Kevan Platt''s explanation for this extraordinary decision: "We felt that if supporters were allowed to vote for all ten places there would be natural loading towards the more modern era" is clearly nonsense. Munby was intimately involved with the modern era and a board notable only for its arrogance, smug indolence and abject failure. No fan would have voted for such a person.
  8. He is the worst goalkeeper we have ever had. He is the least professional player we have ever had. Go away now.
  9. Works for me. It is Basic Info Name: GIVE ROY KEANE MORE TIME! Category: Sports & Recreation - Cheerleading Description: "Keano" and Ipswich Town - made for each other. Please don''t bin the binner Marcus!
  10. "He''s obviously not a bad goalkeeper" SHEER BRILLIANCE. Tears of laughter pouring down my cheeks.
  11. Of course it will be Rudd to start. The interesting question is who will be on the bench? If Steer is injured then my guess is that Cody would get the call.
  12. Poor as Doherty is, I find it odd that he doesn''t make the bench. I suspect that the reason may be financial.
  13. What did I notice? Well that the author is too idle to find out whether there is a mountain rescue team in Fenland. http://www.pidleymountainrescue.org.uk/ I do find the relentless ignorance of journalists depressing.
  14. What no-one has mentioned is that for no obvious reason the referee failed to get the match underway until 3.04. So anyone who had to leave during the four minutes of injury time at the other end of the game can thank Charlton''s referee. No doubt they will be docking some of his match fee for failing to give them the win. Perhaps they could dock a little more for failing to start on time?
  15. Ah the crazy world of the internet. Hoolahan has played for the first team six times since the Colchester game.
  16. "Is there still anybody out there who doesn''t believe that Hoolahan makes the difference?" Indeed. That goal-line stop of his was the key point of the match. Had we gone one up then and we''d have won easily.
  17. Simon Lappin scored a perfectly good goal direct from a free-kick at Charlton. Which model of fair and incorruptible refereeing ruled that one out? I think it''s not the rules around keepers that should be the FA''s first priority.
  18. "Get rid of Hoolahan, get a good replacement. Get rid of Doc, get a good replacement. Under a day to go though :S For Hoolahan I can let the club have my spare chocolate teapot. And the farmer down the road is sure to have a pile of manure.
  19. Tudur Jones''s crisp volley in the Sunderland match is worthy of mention - particularly as it may well ensure that we never see him again!
  20. Qualities required: 1. Refusing to play where asked in the midst of a relegation battle 2. Delaying signing a new contract in the forlorn hope that someone else would come in 3. Consistently shouting one''s mouth off to the press about how well he will play NEXT week Trouble is if Doherty goes we won''t have anyone like that left. Which is nice.
  21. It''s pretty easy to second-guess anything after it has gone wrong. Personally I didn''t think it looked a bad decision in January. But what I don''t understand is why the re-appointment in May when he had manifestly failed. And making a decision of that magnitude before appointing the new CE and new board members was ludicrous. I''m still of the belief, though, that something else has happened since May other than the 1-7 to get him sacked so quickly.
