Am I surprised this happened.....No. On reflection Rowe has never been a team player. If you analyse his game time his apparent rise to stardom is based on instances of brilliance rather than consistent good play. His defensive contribution is weak as is his overall game. His career can go either way at this stage, its up to him which way it goes. In some respects this shows the lack of on field leadership at the club. One of the senior players should be taking him to one side and have a word in his ear about his attitude and behavior. A few choice words from Grant Hanley, Shane Duffy or even the Mayor would not go amiss. Let him know what his team mates think of his behavior. Is there a way back for him?.......yes but it will be very difficult. The crowd were abusing him Tuesday night and he wasn't even there. He is going to need thick skin if he steps back on the pitch at Carrow Road. I suspect a midweek away game with few Norwich fans in attendance might be the option. It will need a very public admission of his stupidity and an apology to the club, players and fans but I honestly feel he is too arrogant to do this. Often the agent is to blame for these incidents but in my opinion this is Mr Rowe himself.

Just to add to the confusion... I received two new cards for our two seats and went on the clubs website to buy both seats for the cup match. One ticket has been loaded onto my card but the other is a print at home??

I agree Duffy and Hanley are both slow and caught out by the faster more nimble forwards but they are both decent at championship level and good defenders against the bigger strikers. Don't forget they are both still international players so are not as bad as some on here portray. Either alongside a good young ball playing centre back with Kenny just in front will do me for next season.

Townhouse on Yarmouth Road will be serving away fans. Not sure those arriving by coach will get any option other than being escorted straight to the ground by the Old Bill

Safe standing approved
Blofield Canary replied to Satriales's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Anyone suggesting future move to 3 in 2 seats/safe standing clearly does not stand in the Lower Barclay at present. I'm on the end of the row and I already have one foot in the gangway most of the time as there is hardly enough space for everyone to stand if the row is full. No way is there room for 50% more spectators. -
I'm more concerned that it is just another example of how poorly managed our club is. Who in their right mind would authorise such a ridiculous statement from a player. He is right though about the fixture list being to blame. Most of the teams we have been scheduled to play are better than us.

From some of the comments made by Attanasio at the AGM and in interviews afterwards I think Knapper is bypassing Delia, MWJ and Zoe and reporting straight to him. A power shift is starting with Knapper and Attanasio running the show. Attanasio has his own business team back in the States working for him with Knapper running the football side of the business.

Not to mention he is our highest paid player on £45k a week. I hope we aren't paying all (or any) of his wages.

Shambles at turnstiles
Blofield Canary replied to CANARYKING's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Pre registration is pointless as you could get a positive covid test the day after you have preregistered. It took 10 seconds for my pass to be scanned and checked before the turnstile so they should 100% checks at barriers before the turnstile queue. I sat in the bar at 2.15 and a supporter with an exempt lanyard sat down next to me and started telling me he had applied to NHS for a letter showing his vaccination status which he hadn't received. So no pre registration, no passport check and to top it all no mask. The mask adherence was appalling in the concourse and no attempt to do anything about it. -

Surprised nobody has mentioned that the Premier League are pushing ahead with Vaccine Passports for all games. This will certainly stop some people attending. Much will depend on what they bring in for under 18s Some others may not have been double jabbed by the start of the season. -

How to mark the Ipswich relegation

I was going to suggest flying a banner over Poorman Road but it would be a wasted gesture with so few there to see it
