1. sorry to say this ncfcstar but i think the chance of us finishing up with 56 points is an absolute definate no no no.i doubt we will reach 40 points.:(reckon the top 3 looks about right tho...
 2. If im honest..hes was the worst norwich captain ive ever seen. totally unjustified appointmnt.i find his play boring and wouldnt miss him one bit. hopefully we might get some cash for him...he would be my last choice midfielder every time.but tbh i think this is a wind up.sadly.
 3. why on earth would he play for free?that just sounds like utter bullrush.
 4.
After signing Carl Cort, I don''t know what to believe anymore [:P]
very very good point. i was very shocked and somewhat flabbergasted at the carl cort horror loan.hopefully that was roeders lowest ebb and we can forget such happenings in the future.so..did anyone actually go pat carra and see these lights and said activities?
 5. Would be nice to have him on board in some shape or form for nostalgia''s sake, he was always my favourtie player back in the day.Lets get real though, weve made the mistake of employing former employees and fans favourite before.if we worked on that principle we''d probably have disco, chippy, flecky and gunny on a four way managerial split in the ridgeons league
 6.
Can someone enlighten me as to who this Boothroyd character is?  He seems highly rated, but I am completely unfanmiliar with him and his qualifications.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aidy_Boothroyd
 7. If we only interviewed ian holloway, it would be real dire straights. I think he''s a complete doughnut.Bring on boothroyd and mckay  tag-team!!!
 8. I agree...the only reason they would have a full management clear out is to pave the way for a new team...i would welcome back both aidy and malkay!hope they unveil them on saturday!!!!
 9. did you notice how many times he refrerred to norwich city as ''we''?!stop mucking about up yank and come back hucks, we need you!!
 10.
For me, very good shot stopper, but not very strong at crosses and organising the defence, he does get quite a few through his legs but look how many he has saved, a lot and he has saved us from certain defeat on many occasion. People forget that he is young and a goalkeeper always get stick when they make a mistake. Hopefully the Wright will sort this out a dn by all accounts, GR reckons that he has been more vocal with his defence, I suspect that he has not had the best of defenders in the last year[:D]
well said. too many through the legs, and needs to be more vocal, but apparently he''s starting to pipe up a bit in the changing room and could with being alot more commanding on the pitch. over all i do rate him and think he will do well this season.
 11. cant go anymore, was gonna go on the cabbage. unless anyone wants to take me petrol free and buy me a ticket? one at a time please...!
 12. anyone else notice that there was a section in the evening news on the weekend (the one 3canaries got into), which was a pick of the comments from this thread? did those of you notice that they didnt print a single optimistic post?! they were the ones quoting 16/17/18th! good old archant!!
 13.

Wish I hadn''t, it was awful....
Same here, took my girlf to her first ever game, wish i never bothered. she did like the songs about Col u playing in Tesco''s carrier bags though!!
ha ha! we obviously live in a parallel universe. my g/f said she felt sick after about 3 minutes. and yes, i did think we had changed the fixture to tesco value f.c
 14.

That our team is going to need time to gel, and therefore might not get the best results at the beginning of the season? I''m willing to bet it takes no more than three games of iffy performances before some of you get on their backs. And some of you will just love it.
I think 10 games in order for them to gel into a unit, although I think the majority will give the team all the time they need, sadly there will be plenty of idiots out for Delia from day one - but there we are.
I''m going for ten. We can have an iffy start and pick it up, this being the Championship. But I just hope the players don''t get singled out. We saw what happened to some of them in our first season after the Prem, and it wasn''t pretty.
Im going to be a little more lenient and say 15. Its not the players faults, wel not from our perspective anyway, that the arrival of new players was left so late. 3 months seems more than enough for the team to gel and there would be no excuses come the end of October.
i think 15 matches it a little excessive. im thinking 6 games with alot of training in between should be enough to get it all flowing. even that said,im not gonns start hanging out with smudger if it aint all rosy after 10.
 15.
What are we going to do - bomb all the other grounds
We should probably just start with bombing pessamists like you, hey?
 16.
Nothing lower than 16th so far, oh really ? Maybe the heat is affecting your logic
WE WILL HAVE A FAR BETTER SQUADRON THAN LAST YEAR...
 17. 1. BRUM 2.COVENTRY ----------------------- 3.Q.P.R 4.BRISTOL CITY 5.WOLVES 6.NORWICH -------------------- 9.IPSHITE ------------------- 22.DONCASTER 23.PRESTON 24.BLACKPOOL
 18. yeah right,. why not? if its a sell out anyway, get the cheap beers out put it on the big screen and you get free high quality surround sound.
 19.
If Andy Johnson is worth that much then how long before the Doc gets snapped up by valencia for a cool 8.5mil?
i saw doc for sale in asda for 85p.
 20. i feel pretty positive too. i think he is a good manager, who used what he did inherit last season, alongside his good loanees,to help us survive. the one and only thing he promised us. now, with the quality he is bringing into the club, the way he is stamping his authority and mark on the club from top to bottom, i have nothing but admiration and a sense of optimism that grows by the day. GLEN ROEDERS YELLOW N GREEN ARMYYYY!!
