1.
I dont think I can remember a pre season in the last 10 years when there has been so little news coming out of carrow road.  Headline stories on the Pink Un staying there for days on end with no updates.  I mean what is happening with Alan Gow and David Bell - have they suddenly gone from ''oh yes we want you'' to suddenly ''cant be bothered anymore'' and if so then why are we not told anything.  If this is all due to the Peter Cullum fiasco then surely we need to be informed so that at least we know transfers are being put on hold till this is sorted out.  I know what Doncaster has said about being no embargo on transfers but I take what he says with a pinch of salt.  I am not really bothered about stories saying Doncaster has been voted on this panel or that panel I want some real news and if there is not going to be any for a while then lets be told.  Another thing Anglia News two nights ago said the club still had not agreed to meet Cullum yet Cullum is all guns blazing saying will meet next week.  Come on Carrow Road inform the fans what is happening - are you meeting him or not.
I think you''re forgetting 2 years ago. That was MUCH worse.
 2. I reckon it''s just Russell. Someone on here the other day said he had had a hair cut.
 3. If posts like this are not deleted and the posters banned then i''m leaving this board. Absolutely sick, makes me ashamed to be called a Norwich "fan".
 4.

Nah, he''s got too much about him to be bothered by all the shenanigans. I think he likes getting players on the cheap & won''t pay over his valuation - look at Taylor; I didn''t actually agree with him about that one, but it was his decision & he knows a Hell of a lot more about football management than me (or anyone else here, for that matter). But I like his style. As long as he has an eye for a bargain, he''ll do OK.
So you''re blissfully happy that we''ve resigned Donkerty then Ron?[:S]
But the Donkey is surely the answer to all our prayers Wiz???  I am blissfully happy with hime resigning... as it means that we are surely another step closer to ridding ourselves of Delia, Roeder and the other losers we have at our club... [;)]
Nice to see your true colours (not the yellow and green variety). Openly wishing failure upon the team just proves what everyone knows already.
 5.

You lot stagger even me...........you''re all getting excited about a loan signing who was part of the worst City defence I''ve ever seen who only just managed to avoid the drop. Somedays, I really think you deserve failure!.
You stagger many of us too - or rather, by now, i guess noone should be surprised at all! Whether you watched any games i don''t know, but to call Bertrand "iffy" last season is beyond most people''s belief...
I''m now being proved right about Delia, and I was proved right about Grants crap signings too. I will also be proved right about Roeder and Bertrand this term. What I find tragic is that you and your fellow arsehole, the Larry geezer, never have the good grace to come on here and say so.
You''re right Wiz. Why does everyone think he''s so good! I mean, if Hull, Watford and Reading wanted him, he must be one of the worst english left backs outside them prem.... Oh.
 6. What is your source for this revelation? Do you have an insider? lol What''s it like now then?
 7. Haven''t you just shot yourself in the foot there? She clearly got the "mix" right by appointing Roeder...
 8. Of the players we have heard of, Chedwyn or Rigters? I think it''s most likely to be someone we haven''t heard of yet (like Ched last year).
 9.
We really don''t know the full details, or implications, so it''s aflawed poll!
Got it in one Woody. We can''t answer the question because we don''t know the ins and outs of the deals. And also, it''s not our money we''re talking about, it''s Delia''s and MWJ''s.
 10. On betfair we are currently 4th favourites for promotion. This is betfair, so odds are offered by punters, not the bookies but... 4th favourites!!!
 11.
I''d be surprised if we have any significant investment just from looking at the targets we;re going for and the fact we have failed in landing some of them and instead going to clubs like Barnsley and Burnley. Surely if investment was forthcoming our ambition would of been made clear to these targets? Surely an ambitious and rich NCFC is a better draw than the Mighty Barnsley?
How do you know we have actually missed out on anyone, or that twe are actually after the players linked. Papers will always link players that they THINK are the kind of player/price range that we would be going for. And if we are going to have more money to spend, then we almost definetly wouldn''t be trying to sign players like Patterson, because we would go for better targets.
 12. Would hate it if he went there, i really hope we can get him back. http://blogs.notw.co.uk/sport/2008/06/hull-want-bertr.html
 13. Where did you find this list? i''ve been looking for a list like that for ages
 14.
I''m not going to believe anything on the official site until Gordon has confirmed it. Too many rumour-mongers out there these days....
Agreed. What has "Glenn Roeder" ever predicted right? Nothing, i too am not going to believe it until GNG has told us it''s going to happen.
 15.
yet again the fans are taken for a ride by the club! why is the new away shirt FULL price even though it will be changed in a years time? i for one definitely wont buy it, but im sure there will be many happy fans who will, ready to shell out again next summer when the next one is issued wont there??
It''s done like that so in 2 years time you don''t have to buy 2 new kits, so after this year the home/away kits will alternate which one changes each year. Much better for the fans. Didn''t think of that one did ya?
 16.

Roy''s also confirmed that the away strip is black.
he also said the black one is the training top and the red one is the away one.......I love the black one
If he said that he is wrong. The black one is the away one and the red is the GK away.
 17.

(ok so Dion had a bad neck), are you for real ryank???!!!   OTBC
dont forget dion BROKE his neck broke his leg and as i discovered quite a few other bones. he also had to drag himself up from kings lynn level, to manchester united. a glorious achievement. for andy cole to score goals was just as ronaldo, in ronaldo''s case, rooney, tevez, scholes, giggs, hargreaves etc. ( a treble winning team) with cole, he had scholes, giggs, yorke, solskjaer etc ( a treble winning team) dion did not. dion was more commited and more influential than cole ever will be, he is a far nicer person. and last reason of all. He loved norwich.
You clearly dont know what you are talking about. Dion never played for Kings Lynn, he was released by Norwich (Premier League) and played in the equivalent of League One and League Two with Cambridge United, earning himself a move to Manchester United where he only played 12 games and scored 2 goals. Andy Cole was released by Arsenal (Premier League) and went to play for Bristol City where he earnt himself a move to Newcastle United and scored 55 goals in 70 games, then earning a move to Manchester United where he became part of the most successful era of Man Utds history since the Busby babes in the 60s.  But nonetheless irrespective of your complete lack of knowledge, I will answer your reply. Please also note that Ronaldo, Hargreaves, Rooney and Tevez have never been part of any treble winning campaign as suggested. Did Dion not have good players round him at Man Utd? I think you will agree that Mark Hughes, Paul Ince, Brian McClair, Eric Cantona, Denis Irwin, Peter Schmeical, Steve Bruce, Andrey Kanchelskis and company make up the nucleas of a top team. Although you are clearly too young to remember. It doesnt matter that Andy Cole would be the first champions league winner to ever play in the yellow and green? I would be honoured to have a champions league winner on the pitch at carrow road for a year. But no we cant have Andy Cole because hes not as nice a bloke as Dion Dublin? Who has retired anyway? I suppose you would rather have Jamie Cureton than Craig Bellamy because Jamie is a nice lad? I met Ian Henderson on a night out once, he was a nice lad, should we have kept him because he was a nice lad?  Gary Doherty is nicer to people on a football pitch than John Terry, but we would have that sort because they arent nice people? Im sorry but the odd a*rseh*le is exactly what Norwich needs. My best mate is a Norwich fan through and through, he is also a nice bloke, should we give him a go? I havent doubted Dions ability, he was a godsend. But if I was a 16 year old Norwich youth striker I am afraid I would have to look upto what Cole has achieved in his career more so than what Dion achieved. If in doubt read the two players respective Wikipedia entries and then tell me that you wouldnt give Andy Cole a year. Again I will repeat, I would be honoured to have a player of Andy Cole''s calibre finish his career at Carrow Road.
While i do agree with you that Andy Cole would be a good signing, you should make sure you get your own facts right too. Do you know why Dublin only played 12 times for Man U? Because he broke his leg in the first couple of games he played for them. He was then out for about a year, by which time they had signed Eric Cantona as a replacement, so he couldn''t get back in the team.
 18. It''s Pattison. It amazes me how many people still get this wrong.
 19. Apparently he isn''t quick in terms of pace, but he''s got quick feet (if you get what i mean)
 20. He''s a different kind of player, probably better for the team. But in terms of individual performances, a player like Hucks won''t come again for a while.
 21.
Source: IRISH INDEPENDENT WES HOOLAHAN will complete a GBP250,000 move from Blackpool to Norwich City today. The former Shelbourne player, who made his international debut against Colombia last month after impressing Giovanni Trapattoni during the training camp in Portugal , will sign a three-year deal with the Canaries. This is on the internal intranet at Aviva/NU.
I''ll be honest, i thought you''d made it up. So i looked it up myself, and here it is on the Irish Independents website. http://www.independent.ie/sport/soccer/transfer-news-1420601.html My apologies Duffman.
 22.
Don''t tar them all with the same McBrush - Fleck, Gunny, Malky.......
Not forgetting the more recent ones. Holt, Marshall, Fozzy. And anyhow, only 1 of the scottish players turned out to be crap (Murray)
