1. We have far to many league 1 standard players in the side already we really need to add a little bit of class or we will go straight back down.
2. Does Lambert know we got promoted , Crofts released by Gillingham last season is hardly the quality we are going to need at Championship level.
3. Also released,that lovely little mover O J Koroma.
4.
I agree with Wiz. It''s September, theres 40 games left to play and we''ve got a potentially very good team with a couple loan additions (A CB and a striker as i don''t think Cody is quite ready to start every game yet, although at the moment he''s probably the best option we have). After our poor start we''re unbeaten under our new manager, kept 3 clean sheets with an obvious need for a CB. Right now i''m staying positive
Potentially very good team ? sorry all i see is a very very average league 1 side nothing more nothing less and when we meet the better sides we are going to be in big trouble . No you dont win anything in September , but untill we get some decent footballers at this club we wont win anything ever.
5. What people are forgetting is we have had an incredibly easy start to the season , in fact i would go as far as saying we have not met a decent side yet , next Monday will be the first real acid test at Mk Dons .Anybody feel a clean sheet and 3 points will be gained ? i expect us to lose with comfort .
6. Martin is a better option than Cody who i dont think is going to make the grade , in truth we really should have signed another striker we always looked short in the goalscoring department .At the moment Holt is the only player we have that looks capable of putting the ball in the net apart from Askou at set pieces.
7. He could be quality , the best player on the planet but if he turns out to be forever injured and does not play a game then he is no good to us is he .
8. If we have bought a player that cannot play a game that makes him a dud .
9. Best player at the club by a country mile and the fact he is being ignored makes you wonder just how good a manager Lambert really is.
10. Cureton ,Cody and Martin are simply not good enough , come to that nor is most of the squad , how we can leave players like Hoolahan out of the squad is unbelievable .Promotion ,not a hope in hell.
11. There are more duds in Gunns signings than good ones , he was out of his depth in every department of football management and we should just be thankful he was removed by McNally as quickly as Delia appointed him .
12.

Lambert has said that although he wont kick Wes or Doc out the door he has told them they will find it very hard getting a game here , in other words they are not wanted and wont be playing so we would have been much better off getting rid .
I''ve heard this a couple of times, but not actually seen anything to back it up? Is it just because they were training with the academy one day last week?
Norwich ready to sell Irish pair Gary Doherty has lost the Norwich captaincy under Paul Lambert Norwich City''s Irish duo Wes Hoolahan and Gary Doherty could be sold before Tuesday''s transfer deadline. The winger and defender respectively were left out of the Canaries squad for Saturday''s win at Hartlepool, prompting speculation about their futures. "From Wes''s point of view, he''s been updated on certain things," manager Paul Lambert told BBC Radio Norfolk. "Gary''s agent''s on to some certain things but you''re only as good as someone wants to come in for you." Republic of Ireland international Hoolahan, 27, has been linked with several clubs, including Crystal Palace and Leeds United, since Norwich were relegated from the Championship. The former Shelbourne, Livingston and Blackpool man has scored twice for the club this season - against Yeovil and Sunderland in the Carling Cup. Doherty started the season as club captain under previous manager Bryan Gunn but Lambert has not picked the centre-back for either of his first two league games in charge, handing the armband to Grant Holt. The 28-year old joined Norwich from Tottenham in 2004 and has played 188 games for the club, scoring seven goals. Doherty was rumoured to be interesting Watford over the weekend. "I''m not going to push them out the door but they''ll find it hard to play here. I''ll go with the group of lads that''s done well," said Lambert. The City manager admits cashing in on the pair would give him more freedom to bring players in before the deadline. "We''re trying to do something at the minute, whether it happens we''ll have to wait and see, it''s not easy to manoeuvre people with the size of the squad but there''s one or two lads I''d like to bring in," he said. The former Colchester manager has already made his first signing for Norwich, bringing in Newcastle goalkeeper Fraser Forster on an emergency loan
13. Was said on the radio Martin loked much better when hes out on the left , funny old game football.
14. No money ,Lambert said they tried to get a few in, loans and swaps mostly but none come off.
15.
WHO WANTS BOOTHROYD, WEVE GOT LAMBERT...
Just about everybody on this messageboard would have opted for Boothroyd over Lambert before he was appointed.
16. Paddy was banging on about Saturday being just one match so just what does he think tonight was , fool , and he chipped in with the certain to get automatic promotion , hard to believe just how stupid some of our supporters are.
17. Whether he was his no 1 target we dont know but he was signed to be our no1 keeper.
18. Think we may as well pay up Theo''s contract now , after Gunns assertions he was big enough to bounce back dropping him tonight just confirms Gunn has no confidence in him whatsoever .
19. Is this the same angelic Mr Hoolahan who got into all sorts of trouble at Blackpool for his drunken hooligan antics .
20. Nope , look at Yeovils record in this competition and its pretty impressive , knocked out Ipswich and Charlton away from home in recent years . A visit from the worst side in League 1 should be a doddle for them .
21. Why should she have anything to show for her investment ? she has made the club worthless and if the truth was known shes probably done very well out of it financially , do you really think all these people who own football clubs are all losing money , i very much doubt it or do you all think they do it for the love of the club like Delia supposedly does .
22. Exactly what i was thinking Barclay_Boy , McNally the man who was going to sort out the Smiths and this mess of a club thinks the Stowmarket two are Angel investors , just another paid yes man .This club is completely finished and you can only see another relegation following pretty soon.
23. Why should we back him , the joke of a manager that is Bryan Gunn is down to her and her hubby hardly any Norwich supporters wanted him appointed and the sooner he is sacked the better off the club will be
24. It makes Colchesters performance look even better if he backs us to still go up , we wont be in the top half .
25.

Thats true but why is it as Norwich fans we have to always think about how many games are left and how many points to play for there is,Saturdaywill never be forgotten and i''m still not sure what will happen in the coming months, will we struggle all season like that or was it a freak result and the team will get it''s act together and show us what they are really made of!?!
That''s true Phat and to be fair the 135 points comment was a little tongue in cheek.Anyone else remember Gunny last season "there are still 18 points to play for...", "there are still 12 points to play for..." etc etc?
Remember it well , and it didnt take him long into his interview Saturday to mention there were still 45 games left , still cannot comprehend how this man has managed to end up with the managers job .
