1. God squad convention, although I hear Roeder and Clark are there running the rule over any potential cheap signings.  Looking for divine inspiration, apparently. And if you are in the vicinity, avoid Morrisons at lunchtime.  Absolute nightmare as they all pile into there for their sarnies.
 2.
norwich in need of a striker and wolves trying off load stephen elliot who been left out trip to scotland would you buy him? never will cut it at wolves but he has done it a few seasons ago with sunderland in this league. but saying that never really got 5games in a row for us to show us if he can or cant perform would you take risk on him for say 400-600k ???
Are you on a commission?  Why the bl**dy hell would we be interested in a Wolves cast-off, who cannot even make it on a pre-season trip over the wall. And £400-600k?  Get a grip! Don''t Wolves have a very good chatboard, or do you just like flak?
 3.
agreed! goals should come from everywhere and a succesful team will chip in with goals from almost every player.  If the midfield could contribute 30 goals between them, a couple of 20 goal strikers each and maybe 10 from the defenders thats 80 goals in a season... i''d hope that would be enough to take the team up. jas :)
Trouble is, with the strikers on the books presently, I don''t think that they''ve got it in them to score 20 between them. I''ve banged on long enough on this forum about having at least 1 striker who can get 20+ a season
 4. Even though Doherty is still here, perhaps the reporters at Archant are trying to erase the transaction from their memory.  I''m still trying too...............
 5. Didn''t I read somewhere that he was an unused sub at Gorleston last night?  If that''s the case, it says it all really. I personally think that Roeder rates Chadwick over him and if rumours of Bell''s signing are true, then I can''t even see where Croft fits into the squad.
 6. Saw Croft in the city on Saturday and he looked well short of peak fitness
 7.
Did they share a room?  Juicy gossip alert [:P]
Is Ashton coming back?
 8.

doesnt say it has been accepted does it? or am i severely blind
No, it hasn''t been accepted. Not an Ekoku fan, then?  Strange choice when you could have had Beckford, Coney, or anyone else who was crap.
Can''t have Coney.  But don''t get me wrong, I''m not a fan.  It''s my sense of irony!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 9. Good player IMO, but I''ll celebrate if he signs, coz history will tell us that NCFC have bid for players that they know full well they have no hope of signing. Just hope this isn''t another one of those occasions
 10. I once got too much change when I bought a half-time pint.  But as the club has been robbing the fans blind for sometime now, my conscience is clear over the extra tenner I pocketed.
 11. Simple question for you Dion''s Longsaber.  Is Morrison a proven goalscorer at this level?  The answer is yes, but he slagged us off in the past.  So let''s let that cloud our judgement.  We''ll play Renton (an unproven 18 year old), Thompson (an Irish Sunday league player), Cureton (Row Z) or Martin (if we can get him out of the pub) up front. Your narrow mindedness astounds me.
 12.
morrison is past it anyway. he always stated he wanted to stay in the london area. signings will happen
Has Coventry been moved to the Capital without my knowledge?
 13.
Well, if that was it then it is PATHETIC.
well he was right it''s renton!!!

Trouble is, the Board and Doomcaster especialy will put a positive spin on this and expect us long suffering fans to lap it up. Gonna go into one now. Delia and her mery bunch of men demonstrate no ambition and haven''t done for years. Now obviously I''m not tuned into Roeder''s thinking, but, on the subject of strikers, Morrison appears to he heading for Coventry, on a FREE.  Does that mean we can''t even afford them when they come gift wrapped. If he signs for Coventry, my money is on Morrison scoring against us 1st game of the season. Quality at this level.
 14. To me it doesn''t matter what side we fielded.  The record books will show that we lost. Firstly, winning breeds a winning habit.  To those who think it was merely a run out to improve fitness etc you are talking a scrotum''s contents..  Thought that was the point of a week at Chez Mansell.  Mind you, saw Lee Croft in the city on Saturday.  He must have stayed at home! Secondly, you would think with the small squad that we have that these would be the opportunities for all players especially supposed fringe players, to show Roeder / Clark / whoever was there exactly what they are capable of, regardless of 1st match back guff.  Whether it is behind closed doors, or in front of 25,000 at Carrow Road, these are professionals. I bet Gorleston are crapping themselves.................................
 15. So, Shifty, if you were as rich as Cullum you would ''donate'' £20m?  I''m pretty sure that Mr Cullum is as rich as he is because he is an estute business man, not in the habit of donating to the needy.
 16. Might be old news, but any news will do at the minute. Cheap, if not free, so just in our price range.  Experienced and as was proven when you put experience beside Shackell, he is a far better player. But he is predominently left sided so if considered as a partner to Shackell, would imbalance the defence. Or is he being lined up as a replacement for Shackell?  Which means Doherty is still in the starting XI. And we all thought it couldn''t get any worse.......................
 17. How about Huckerby in a superimposed San Jose shirt?  Still a god, always a legend
 18.
I think: ------------------------------- Marshall ------------------------------ Semmy-------------Doherty----------------Shackall---------Bertrand ------------Russell----------Clingan---------Fozzy-------------------- ---Croft---------------------------------------------Hoolahan-------- ---------------------------Cureton------------------------------------ Would not be the end of the world, a mid-table side but needs a new centre-back and centre-forward who''s big, can hold up the ball and is good in the air. This formation would allow Russell and Fozzy to play a bit further up the field and bomb into the box.
As things stand at the moment, I''d play Clingan right, Fozzy & Rusty middle, Hoolahan left, with Cureton as a lone striker and Chadwick in a ''floating'' role behind. Unless Chadwick is injured.........again.  Keeper and back 4 pick themselves (boo-hoo coz it means Donkerty plays)
 19.
Peter Grant wasn''t as bad as everyone made him out to be, and the Duff was never really given a chance!
You have got to be extracting the urine
 20. Two points here : 1.  Not worth the money in my opinion.  There are more proven strikers to be had at less the cost (Morrison / Phillips) 2.  There are far too many Ameobi threads.  C''mon mods, do something about this
