1.
Please stay on your feet son. It''s a mans game. Very embarrasing to see a player writhing around on the ground as if he had been shot, only to get up and run around clearly not hurt. We hate seeing opposition players do it, and deservedly give them stick. So cut it out Lupoli!   Could and should have won yesterday. Would have if we had a decent striker!
Couldn''t give a toss, if he wins 5 pens this year and gets us to the play offs...!
 2. I like a flutter and i''m pretty successful but I have a policy to NEVER bet against my team. I for one am discussed in you ''''ctheanaryfan''''!!
 3.
When did spelling and grammar become so unimportant on this board? No-one minds the odd mistake, or a misplaced apostrophe every now and again, but as soon as I read some of the "ENUFF SED" crap on this board I have no interest in what people are saying. The number of rumours written in incomprehensible language is ridiculous. Do people really think they are believable when they can''t even spell? Rant over.
Hear, Hear! In all honesty I totally agree.
 4. I certainly think we are capable of finishing eighth....or dear I say even higher! I see on the official website that Roeder (in the Martin/Spillane on loan to Luton article) says (what we already knew) he wants another forward, defender and midfielder. If he gets the players he wants who''s to say we won''t challenge for the play offs?! A week ago I said I would take midtable but as always just before the season kick off I get over excited (even at the age of 31) and super optimistic!
 5.

Sorry to be a geek but Crewe''s kit is made by Lotto not Nike (may have been Nike last season though).
he never said crewe played in a nike kit
Apologise! I will make sure I read the entire paragraph in future!
 6.
Also in 442 this month I was looking in League 1 preview section closely at the picture on the Crewe Alex page, they are playing a team from the Football League (presumably in same division) who are playing in a yellow nike shirt with green shorts. I imagine its an away kit does anyone have any ideas who it is? It looks like the sort of kit we should be in.
Sorry to be a geek but Crewe''s kit is made by Lotto not Nike (may have been Nike last season though).
 7.
No, he didn''t play well on Monday night and yes, he looks like buster bloodvessel but Matty Pattison had some fantastic games for us last season especially when he was employed just in front of the back four, I seem to remember out standing performances against Plymouth and in the game after his drink driving incident. Do we really have to have a boo boy before the season has even started ? He is no where near as bad as Hughes was and I actually think he could turn out to be a really good player for us (I seem to remember comparisons to Gary Holt when he first arrived) alot of the negativity in relation to the board has been fair grounds for complaint in my view , maybe the plans for protest have been a little over the top but some posters already saying he''s not fit to wear the yellow shirt actually makes my blood boil, it is that kind of negativity that rankles with me . Pattison signed on loan around November time ? In that time he produced a number of good performances some of which were excellent, even if this was not the case he should still be alloted a year to prove himself.
Lets not get over excited my friend! The guy has got a lot to prove because, lets face it, he hasn''t been a great signing so far. He could also take some tips from Barry Bethall and Andy Fordham, get yourself on that Slimfast plan son!
 8. Fernando Derveld Ulf Otterson Matty Patterson (controversial!)
 9.
To be fair he did pull off 3 really good saves 2nd half. was it bad goalkeeping or good finishing?
Bad goalkeeping!
 10. Totally agree, the guys a liability in whatever position he plays.
 11. If that is so we could see a couple of players go the other way to fund a big forward. Shackell could be on his way now we have Kennedy and I guess Croft or Russell may be allowed to leave for the correct brass. Just my opinion. Any thoughts?
 12. Saying that I think he may be an English born Scot! Forget that idea!
 13. Now, now children! You may be able to get another english hero on your shirt come Monday, Howard 9!
 14.

Why do we need a big man if we are planning on playing our footy on the deck.  Man Utd do OK and Rooney/Tevez arent the biggest...
They have Scholes, Hargreaves and Carrick playing behind them making things happen. We don''t have a playmaker in midfield. You need a big man or a playmaker in your team, we have neither at present.
I think hoolahan is a play maker. Did you see the gorleston game? ALWAYS wanted the ball and killed it and created things with it instantly, i think he''s a play maker, not a winger.
Wasn''t at the game but I hope you are right. I tend to think of a playmaker playing in a central role (don''t shoot me down!) but a bit like Francis.

 16.
Lisbie. He suffered for spending too long at Charlton being a bit-part player but he showed himself to be a good player at this level with Colchester. And his goal tally in a fairly rubbish side that struggled shows that. He''s got pace and he can worry a defence. Cureton just doesn''t do that.
Didn''t Cureton score 24 goals in one season for the same ''rubbish side''? Cureton is a proven goalscorer in the Championship, I''d have him in my side ahead of Lisbie everytime.
 17.
I wouldn''t be that upset if we got relegated. At least then we''d finally get rid of all those frightful "new fans" ie the Jarrold Stand. I''d rather see the ground half full of REAL fans. We would get to enter the FA Cup fray earleir and stand a reasonable chance of silverware in the Leyland Daf Johnsones Paint Zenith Data Systems Cup. I quite like these part-finished Blackpool/Preston type grounds. If we pulled down the jinxed Jarrold Jonny Come Lately Stand we could put back that nice hoarding with a proper bit of "edgy" feeling wasteground behind it. And bring back sweeeeeetss! trolleys instead of those burks with ghostbuster backpacks selling foie gras and quails egg soup. Wurzel
What a pathetic post. I have been a season ticket holder since I was 5 (so erm 26 years) but i''m not a real fan as I now sit in the Jarrold stand. What a small minded idiot you are!
 18. Yeah, I thought exactly the same when I received my season ticket on Saturday morning. It really annoyed me.
 19. I hope you are right (apart from the Safri bit!)
 20.
I agree on most areas but feel the midfield is high on numbers low on quality. We need a playmaker to run games!
I agree, we def need an attacking midfield playmaker. You can add a right midfielder to list as well. Chadders won''t stay fit IMHO and I still have question marks over Crofts fittness. So that makes 9 new players before the start of the season!
 21. I think its very worrying. IMHO 9 players short of a reasonable squad. 1 x back up keeper, 2 x centre backs, 1 x right back, 1 x right mid (Chadders won''t last the season), 1 x attacking mid, 1 x back up left mid, 2 x centre forwards. This is just my opinion if we want to be challenging for a play off place.
