1. Totally agree. I think we need a couple of old heads in to ''''help out'''' the youngsters and Upson certainly fits the bill. I guess it will all come down to wages. Am I being greedy wanting another keeper in as well? That would be 9 new signings! I also want the dead wood out ASAP. I put Stephen Hughes, Tom Adeyemi, Simon Lappin, Aaron Wilbraham, Oli Johnson, Anthony McNamee, Luke Daley, Steven Smith and Owain Tudur Jones in this bracket. Yes, I know I want it all!! I would like to add, I''m so much more confident than when we last got promoted to the Prem. What a fantastic manager we have in Lambert. Bring on Aug 13th and Wigan!!
2. Savage doesn''t speak very highly of Dion in his autobiography! Mind you reading you would think Maradona and Pele weren''t fit to lace the Welsh Wizards boots! Savage''s quote to Steve Bruce. Bruce to Savage ''''how many trophies have you won?'''' Savage to Bruce '''' How many international caps have you won?!'''' Love him or hate him it''s an ok read if you are a bit bored on holiday.
3. Totally agree Allez. Doc is easily the CB at our club. Every Doc hater out there is so blinkered. He makes one foul or misplaced pass and there is a witchhunt. Anyone else does it and nothing is mentioned.
4. Houston, I''m sure if any of your 2500 posts had any valid point or decent arguement then people on this forum may give you the time of day. As for your verbal attacks on my 80''s cartoon friend Hugo, I can only say ''''shame on you!''''
5. Is that you Gordon Brown? I think you may be out of you depth entering a debate on the Jeremy Kyle Show Sir. Chucking in a couple of mild obscenities and a bit of playground name calling doesn''t accumulate to a good argument to why you think Mr Doc is such an awful footballer. Where you actually a the game Houston? If you were you would notice that in the first 10 minutes everything dangerous was played down our right hand side. Due to Orients'' best player being the winger on loan from Spurs. Once Spillane got himself sorted we were in total control of the match. How was this Doc fault?
6. Totally agree. Life is all about opinions but most people on here who slate Doc don''t even give a valid reason. ''''Oh he made one bad pass''''. You always notice the groan at games when The Doc misplaces a pass, Askou does it 20 times a match and people say what a solid defender he is!
7. Houston, one good game? He was player of year in 2006 and if memory serves me right has finished 2nd and 3rd in previous seasons? I just think Doc gets a rough ride from a lot supporters. I don''t agree that he''s not the best centre back at the club. Are you judging Nelson on his two ok games? Forgotten his awful display on the first day of the season? I thought he was running with two blocks of concrete attacted to his legs! Berthel Askou is an ok Divison One player at best, his distribution is awful. Just because he can ''''head the ball a long way'''' doesn''t make him John Terry.  IMO Spillane is a better right back or holding midfielder than a centre back and Dumic, Stephens etc haven''t started a first team game. I still think Doc may go in January and i''m sure a lot of you will be chuffed. One thing is for sure, he will move to a team of higher standard than us. I also think that when all the above metioned centre back''s careers have finished The Doc''s stats will read rather move impressively. 34 international caps, Prem league appearances, Championship Winners medal, Norwich City Player of the Season......... Oh and the two clubs that came in for him on Ang transfer deadline day were allegedly Watford and Peterborough.
8. Awsome display from the Doc tonight. Nice to see he is back to his old self after a couple of shakey displays at the start of the season. He professionalism since being dropped showed tonight with a MOM performance. All you mugs on here who give him grief astound me. This guy is one of the best centre backs in league one and would walk into any other team in this division (I include Leeds and Charlton). Funny how people on here think he is so awful but teams in the league above us want to sign him!
9. I think that these posts show we need to get in a decent centre back and right midfielder before we can even think about challenging for a play off place. IMO Spillane is not a centre back, he may do a job in holding midfield. Whalley, ''''Chubs'''' McVeigh and Daley are also not up to the job.
10.
Proven that he cant hit a barn door
As always you are correct, he can''t hit a barn door! 184 goals in 393 starts. http://www.soccerbase.com/players_details.sd?playerid=1843
11. I think Cureton should be given a run in the team. He is proven at this level and think fans should stay off his back.
12. Wouldn''t disagree with that Yellow. From what I have seen Gill has to be dropped and Cureton WILL get goals in this league, given a run in the team.
13. The Fermoy is calling for you lot. The smart money is on us getting relegated at 20/1.
14.
It is, after all, the Carling Cup. The least of our worries. Would it be better for Theo to regain some of his confidence, to learn more about the defence ahead of him, and more about the English game, or should we leave him out after todays performance, let him mull it over for weeks and weeks, until he gets another shot (which I assume he will)? This decision could destroy his career, or regain it.
The guy should never wear a Norwich shirt again after yeasterday. The worst keeper I have ever, ever seen.
