1.
I think Huddersfield will drop off.
I remember 2 seasons ago when people kept saying the same thing about Bournemouth. I think Huddersfield are better than people are giving them credit for. Aaron Mooy was a great pick-up. Completely runs their show.I won''t be surprised one bit to see them in the mix at the end.
 2.
Firstly we haven''t played the likes of Newcastle, Brighton etc yet. However even Burton exposed the weaknesses in our CB''s on Saturday. When we get promoted, Martin''s lack of pace will be really obvious like it was last season when he was found on many a time to be trotting back in the wake of his opponent.
What a fantastic problem to have! I hope you''re right!!
 3.

And if we get promoted, the jump he would have to make from SPL to PL, would be much harder. If you''re good enough you''re old enough. Lakey, you managed to contradict yourself in the space of three or four lines.
Maybe, but the premise is right imo. If we are promoted, we need him to have had at least some championship experience this season to make it easier to make the jump. The PL is a goldfish bowl of  unbelievable proportions. Every move is scrutinised and exagerated way beyond what is normal, to the point that pressure can have an effect on even the best young player.  The championship is a much better preparation for the PL than the Scottish SPl (witness the defending in that league and you''ll see what I mean).  I hope he comes back in January and is able to feature for us this season, but as I said, if we don''t sell any players in january, he will likely stay where he is for the duration.
But who''s to say if we were promoted this season, we''d need to throw Maddison in next season? As people point out, we have Wes & Pritchard. Perhaps he could further his development again out on load - this time at a higher level. Top of the Championship perhaps. One thing I''ve noticed the last few years is that we''re now prepared to be patient with young players. The handling of Louis Thompson is a great example of this, which is another one I''m more impressed with every time I see him. He signed when he was 19 (i.e. the same age as Maddison), and he''s now been on our books for 2 years. Only now is he starting to work his way in and around the first team.Like mentioned above - given the results we''re starting to see, I''m prepared to go with the clubs judgement on this. I mean your expert opinion is always appreciated, but I think the club knows what it''s doing.
 4.
Doing well in the 15th ranked league in Europe means f all!
I wish I was doing well in the 15th best league in Europe when I was 19.
 5.
Hmmmm, so had they not lost games, they would have had more points.*Strokes chin and nods*[:D]
Sure. You could look at it that way.......but we only have 8 games to look at so far. The old adage "the table doesn''t lie" is never more untrue than at the start of the season.Anyway. I found it interesting. And I think we have a very interesting few weeks coming up with both us and Villa playing Newcastle in consecutive weeks. We''re going to know a lot more about where everyone really is by next Sunday.
 6. However getting back to the OP - I think it''s a mute point.I think any manager of this football club at the moment at any-time is at most 10 games from the sack given our expectations this season. For right or wrong, that''s the way of football these days.
 7.

I don''t see how anyone could be unhappy with that record so far.If you want to see it done wrong, take a look at Villa.
OT - but I read a decent article this morning about Villas start to the season when compared to that of Newcastle in preparation for them meeting on Saturday. It puts an interesting spin on the early seasons for both promoted teams, and I think is well worth a read.
That basically backs up my opinion before the season started, that hasn''t changed much.Newcastle, just by sheer weight of squad quality and financial dominance really shouldn''t fail in this league. And Villa are a car crash of a club.
I don''t disagree in regards to Villa. My observations from the article were more to do with - in all measurables other than league table points - how close both Villa & Newcastle actually are. Especially given that "had Villa not conceded the five goals they''ve let in during the final five minutes of matches so far this season they''d be level with Newcastle on 15 points." which when you consider the accusations of Norwich fans saying our players do not look fit at the end of games, gives some kind of perspective.I think the writer is clearly a little lazy in stating that these 2 clubs are the main 2 powerhouses of the league and were 1st and 2nd favourites for the league. But when I read between the lines, my main take away from this article (or more accurately, stat analysis) is - which of the 2 clubs is actually in the false position?

 9.

Nice to see Oliviera being written off before kicking a ball...........
exactly tell me how many good touches hes had for us?!
That''s the trouble, statistically he has the same number of bad touches as good, which really isn''t a good ratio is it?
Oliviera has not scored a single goal for Norwich!#statsdontlie
 10.
Basically, he is this guy http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2203460/Chelsea-Manchester-City-tracking-24m-Nelson-Oliveira.html
I don''t think Oliveira would be a bad signing - but just to play devils advocate here;http://www.skysports.com/football/news/11667/7236208/united-tracking-van-wolfswinkel

And I think I''ve just found them [;)]
 12. I think someone has just been a little lazy at updating the website.According to that, we also still have Adel Gafaiti. With a squad number of 31. Same number as Josh Murphey.
 13. Can someone translate this for me please?I can''t speak moron.
 14. No new stories on this one today.I get the feeling this one may have never been a starter.
