1. The only real obstacle stopping Hux returning is GR, as that obstacle will be removed very soon, I have a feeling Hux will be back. It''s a bit like waiting for your long lost relative to return but he can''t quite make it back because there is a huge pile of cr@p in the road blocking his path!
 2. All those fans singing for Lupoli and wishing for a goal scorer on the pitch have obviously been watching too much football on the television and think they are all experts, I would suggest in future they all pipe down and leave it to the real expert! cough!
 3.

Out
fair play to you JB - you''ve probably been waiting for a thread like this since roedy got appointed!!![;)]
Lol, I guess if you have a despicable, dishonest, arrogant  personality you can never truly make it as football manager, as you know I was trying to make this point 12 months ago
 4.

The anoying thing today is Lupoli has probably saved Roaders job!
I know ,its a real sickener.Maybe GR will self destruct and drop Lupoli next game now hes scored.(thats 5 goals in 7 games)
5 in 7 - over a 46 game season would average at 33 goals, ok I know in reality that probably wouldn''t happen but it still make GR look a totally useless  tw@t.
 5. I can remember when the price of a ticket was the same price as a ticket for the cinema, about the same length of entertainment but the cinema seat was warmer, more comfortable and a had a girly selling popcorn, it''s hard to imagine how we ever got to the stage of paying 5 times as much to watch a cr@p game of football, isn''t it ? Take it a step further and imagine paying £25 - £30 to sit in a seat in the street, Outside the Odeon, to watch a cr@p film through a dirty window, when the film finishes you get insulted by the Odeon manager and have to sit in a traffic jam  for 40 mins to begin your journey home. While sitting in the car, trying to warm your numb hands you try to read the prograame for the coming films for the next 12 months, only to realise that every film booked looks totally cr@p, plus you have the prospect of the Odeon manager insulting you on every return.Would you go back for more?
 6.
I will be the first to chip in for the taxi.LOL
I will fly back to the UK and drive the taxi myself, drop him off at Lands End and be back in Norwich, just in time for City Angels party
 7. Perhaps we should bring back the kit-man GR sacked and make him Director of Football for a month, that should do the trick nicely
 8. The fans have been calling for this for months, obviously we have been watching too much football on TV and think we are all experts - GR you are a total t0sser!
 9.
He has proven to be good at escaping relegation during the first season when he is appointed manager at a club. Unfortunately , it has been proven that his prowess does not extend into the second or following seasons. Sadly things seem to be following that same pattern now..........
I''m not sure he is good for a first [whole]season, in our case he got results during the first couple of months, the players then realised what a total t@sser the guy was and haven''t played for him since!
 10.
I''ve met him on a number of occasions and I like him a great deal.  At least he says what he thinks instead of the usual public football manager B******s" and who then tell you something completely different in private.  Mr Holloway is a good one for that if you ever happen to end up with him!
So GR doesn''t talk B********s?!!....... I think you will find he talks plenty of B*********s, it''s just he talks B*********s with an air of arrogance which fools the naive and gullible
 11.
Goodness me, you all seem to know a hell of a lot about a man you haven''t met. (cue ''I''ve met him several times, actually etc, blah..)
I didn''t meet Adolf Hitler either but I know he was a complete tw@t!
 12.
one piece of good news though... eastern evening news poll 70 percent of voters wanted roeder sacked... a couple of bad results , a couple of pants loan players, then that would peak at 100 percent!!!
Apparently the other 30% want him hung drawn and quartered and his head put on a spike outside Carrow Road, in the hope it might deter any more cr@p managers turning up at NCFC
 13.
not forgetting of course that he took possibly one of the worst squads in the division last season and saved us from certain relegation!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Roeder told you it was one of the worst squads and you believed it, the squad were of mid table quality but managed by a very poor manager [Grant] things got even worse and that average squad were taken over by a totally  useless c@nt [Roeder] who managed a few wins with Grants team and then put his own stamp on things! it''s gone from bad to worse since because he is totally clueless and without doubt worse than Grant, which in football management is some achievement!
 14. In most games we play 5, sometimes 6 in midfield so obviously  we will have greater possession and appear to be the better team, the fact that the opposition in almost every case score more goals than us, is proof enough that we are not actually playing such good football as some would like to think.Playing with one striker or none at all, will obviously lower your chances of scoring, a five year old could figure that one out, it also gives the opposition less to worry about and once they find a way through a 6 man midfield can score a goal or two without much worry we will score any in reply, if we do it''s generally one goal, by which time it''s game over.
 15.
Blimey - Jewell (won 29% of available points) almost makes Roeder (won 40%) look competent!!!
20 wins out of 60 would be 33% wouldn''t it? many of those wins were inside the first 2 months playing with Grants team. take a look at this season only inc. the cup defeat at MK Dons and his win average is 25.9% if my maths are correct? worse than Jewell, who''s figures also include the Prem
 16. Didn''t Ewan take his badge? he couldn''t be any worse than Roeder
 17. It''s ironic that he stated the players he inherited were the worst players he''s ever inherited and weren''t good enough, yet it was with those same players he actually put his only string of results together! As for the old excuse he hasn''t had any money to bring in players - he has brought in 21 players, that''s an entire squad!I honestly think GR is a poor manager and we wouldn''t be doing any better if he was given twice the amount he''s already spent
 18.
Is it easier to manage in the Prem than in the Championship and below? Would Wenger, Fergy, Big Sam, etc get results on a shoestring budget, with very demanding fans in a tight and tough division? Are Hull finding it easier to stay in Prem than to get there? Did we (we were only a point short and purchased a striker too late) If so is Roedy finding life much tougher at Norwich than Newcastle? It is certainly ture that being priest of a small and struggling church is much harder than managing a big successful one with lots of money and staff...so was wondering if it is also true in football. And if so perhpas the managment is not the issue- but the stupid turnaround in playing staff and lack of quality on the pitch. We need a period of stability more than anythin else I feel- but to resist the urge to fire fight will not be easy. That said - reuslts are worryign me
I think you can look at it from the opposite end too - If Wenger, Fergy and Big Sam played players out of position in every game, made poor substitutions, let their best player walk out the door, alienated their new players as soon as they arrived, left their best players on the bench to watch a poor 17 yr old loanee filling their position, ripped their players appart in the press, made tactical errors in each game, blamed the ref, blamed the players, blamed the fans, I think they would be doing just as badly as Roeder
 19.

We cant afford to loan lita, let aloan buy him... (We''ll find a way with that) So ofcourse we''re not going to waste money on sacking a DECENT manager he will do well enough eventually, we''re getting there, the football is imporving, the goals are adding up... Stop saying sack roeder, he''s not going.
Agree completely. People moan  when we play well and lose and moan when we play badly and win. We are not Barcelona, we won''t get both result and performance all of the time.
Thanks, yes i know what you mean... Why do people expect us to beat palace who are on a 8-game unbeaten run? And then when we loose come out with thee'' olde'' "sack roeder" or "sack delia" or "sack the board", It''s chaotic... All over a AWAY game, that we was clearly going to loose, im just glad we scored and played well.. People expect to much from ncfc, the sooner people put their expectations lower, the sooner they will be pleased, thanks :)
I''m not sure that''s strictly true, I don''t have any expectations whatsoever anymore and yet I''m still disappointed

 21. Makes you wonder why he was given a three year contract in the first place [Newcastle only gave him a 2 year contract] I''m sure I read somewhere -  managers last an average of 14 months, so a 3 year contract is and was a clear mistake
 22.
We haven''t got the money to spend on some new players.
I''m not sure money or apparent lack of it is the problem, GR has changed the entire squad since he arrived, some positions several times over if you count the loans in and out, the back room staff have been changed including the kit-man, it''s GR''s team, GR''s squad, GR''s staff, that little overhaul didn''t come cheap - yet we are doing just as badly as we did under Grant - perhaps GR is just a cr@p manager
 23.
Seriously John, Roeder did extremely well to keep us up last season that is the miracle I think he worked. I didn''t say everything was ok, but I think the fact that we are playing good football is a big point. If we were playing terribly and losing I would be all for sacking Roeder but I just don''t agree that it is the best scenario. Have you seen us play John? Without money we won''t be going anywhere, but it is quite simply a mystery to me why we don''t have anything when you have teams like Burnley, Barnsley, Palace and Preston managing to trade well and have some money. Perhaps Palace isn''t the best example, but how are Burnley affording to compete? It is a change at board level that is needed, not a change of manager.
Sorry ncfcstar I wasn''t suggesting the - "playing good football so everything is ok"  quote was yours but that seems to be the general argument in defense of GR, many games we are playing 5, even 6 in midfield with a short striker up front, I believe this is the reason the ball is played on the ground and the reason we have the greater percentage of possession in most games, it looks like we are playing better football than the opposition but it''s deceptive - the fact they score more goals than us in almost every game, shows we are not playing as well as we think we are.The other line of defense, is GR has had little money to spend - but when has any Norwich manager had a lot of money? every manager I''ve ever known has worked on a shoe string, GR has had enough money to change the entire squad inside 12 months, many loans admittedly but according to GR all top players, whichever way you look at it, we shouldn''t be in the bottom 5. There are many reasons we are doing badly but for me the main reasons are GR''s poor man-management style, poor team selection, lack of tactical knowledge to actually win games and generally his personality which neither inspires the team or gives them confidence
 24.
Barclay Boy, you complain about the failure of our education system, and then fail to notice the ironic, or well probably more sarcastic post by Badger, this is hilarious, you have made yourself look like a complete tool by continuing to fight your losing battle as well. I agree with everyone that the results are not what we expect, but I think it is what we should be beginning to expect. Roeder has stated that when he came to the club it was the worst squad of players he had ever inherited, and that is quite simply something that can not be solved overnight. Yes, the results are not going our way, but we are starting to play something that resembles football, which we didn''t see when Grant was in charge. Roeder managed to work miracles last season, and unfortunately people are still judging us as a team which deserves to be challenging at the top, I don''t want to be defeatist but with the current situation in regards to the board we simply don''t have the money to get up there. I state again, as I have many times, Roeder WOULD NOT be able to bring in the quality of players he has on loan as permanent signings because there is clearly no money. I think he deserves time still, others may not, but there are many circumstances which should be taken into consideration, not like with Grant who was just utter rubbish.
Lets take a closer look at this miracle - He arrived in October, taking over potentially one of the better clubs in this division, albeit we were at the wrong end, come May were we 3 or 4 places higher in the league. We won our last home game, if we had lost we would have been relegated. Why the f**k is that a miracle?GR states he took over one of the worst squads he has ever inherited, yet it was when he was forced to play with Grants team, playing the players in the positions Grant intended, he actually got a string of results together, since then it''s all been down hill.As for the old argument we are playing good football so therefore everything is ok!! WTF is that about? we have lost most of our games for 12 months, other teams have therefore scored more goals and we have scored less  - how is that good football? it''s obviously bad football and as a result we are at the bottom of the league!
