It's not about accepting or excusing our failure, it's about recognising that the game itself is failing. If you accept and excuse that then fine, as you say, whatever works for you, but, I'm not happy with the way football has developed and the only reason I have any actual interest in it anymore is because of Norwich. When we're not in the PL it might as well not exist, I'm proud that we're trying to do things differently but it is a very, very hard ask to overcome the way the game is stacked against us (and anyone outside the current "big clubs").

Admirable, but: 1. How would TV money for international rights be split and that would also concentrate the monies in the metropolitan areas. Yes it would be good for us but it would be bad for a club like Burnley who have so many other clubs nearby. 2. There is already little money to be made from being in the Europa League unless you get to the final stages, it would add an unnecessary expense on the smaller teams who also don't have the depth in squads to be able to sustain the additional travel and matches. At least if only the big clubs are in European competition then it puts extra strain on squads and resources to give a slight advantage to underdogs...

Burnley - Big Loan Repayment if relegated

I didn't think They'd need to get around ffp if they're only down for one season, which is a problem with ffp as a club could be relegated massively overspend and get promoted in one (or two) year and be fine, which I imagine is what they will try to do....as long as the owner can foot the bill for one year without their russian oligarch -
TBF finishing above Watford is worth about £2m quid so there is still something to play for, whether that is more valuable than giving our own players experience over gilmour Norman and Williams I'll leave to others to decide...

I can remember hearing something about Sorensen being practically vertical he's so laid back in training. I can imagine that might put managers off picking him in case that carries over onto the pitch.

Was it not bassong that allegedly dissed Adams in front of the dressing room for being a nobody when he first went in as manager?

Going back to the champs will we be streaming out non-3pm Saturday games again? That would probably be your best (and cheapest) bet for number of city games if so...

Just to add (and based purely off the BBC article) if they don't get promoted straight back up that does trigger further loan restructuring increasing the amount they need to pay back quickly. However, the implication is that the majority of their contracts do have relegation clauses so they should be alright, albeit poorer than they should be.

“5 why” analysis of our current situation

But if they bring in the super League as a breakaway (I firmly believe that clubs that compete in an ESL should forego their place on their domestic league) then that will suck a lot of the money out of the premier League as a product which will therefore reduce the incentive to **** money up the wall and the attraction of it as a billionaires playground. -

The only thing to disagree with here is that the authorities have ruined it with corruption, rather the authorities have allowed that financial corruption/doping as it lines their pockets. I don't believe corruption was there original aim, but when it came along they were all to happy to allow it. -
They seem to think £5m would be enough to snap him up, certainly wouldn't be a bad ROI if we got that for him...
