1. I don''t know if they''d have a say in this but I doubt the N&N would be overly chuffed at the roads being completely choked up every other Saturday.
 2. I had a feeling they''re on sale to the great unwashed until Saturday 3pm anyway. Could be wrong. And just ignore James Bond. The new Troll for the Day. And hilarious at that!
 3.
Think that Graham still might happen if Chelsea win the second leg.
Apparently he''s been quoted as wanting to go to Sunderland. I still don''t see why Swansea want to sell him
 4.
I can see your points Y&G but correct me if I''m wrong, both are wingers play on the wrong side and I''m sure I read that this is a deliberate tactic to make the team more solid by mostly forcing Snodders and Pilks to go inside. My main criticism of Hoots is his total refusal to change formation during a game. Newcastle were there for the taking today but the subs made were like for like. There does appear to be a total lack of imagination tactically at times. Our manager has tremendous experience of the Premier league so I assume he knows what he''s doing but boy it does get tedious at times and yep our forward play is laboured and lacking in pace in crucial parts of the pitch. Apart from all this, I am a glass half full chap. A point was handy today and one more game closer to safety.
I completely agree; as much as I am happy with what Hoots is doing
 5.
He is out with a hamstring injury apparently
And they''ve got the x-rays to prove it [;)]
 6.
Shame Bennett isn''t starting. Deserves a go
Completely agree; I thought he ran the show against Peterborough. Hopefully he''ll come on for more than 7 minutes
 7. The live games are Palace/Stoke v Citeh (shock!), WHam/ManYoo (wow!) v Fulham/Blackpool, Southend/Brentford v Chelsea (blimey!), Leeds/Birmingham v Spurs (surely not?!) and Oldham v Liverpool (never saw that coming!).The only real surprise is they picked Spurs over Arsenal.
 8. Buying anyone on the last day pretty much instantly puts an extra million quid on his transfer fee and a few more thousand on his wages
 9. Although he did get them to a League Cup semi-final and they''re not out of it yet. And they''re not in the relegation zone.Just saying...
 10.
But they will start with Cisse up front on Saturday so don''t feel too sorry for them!
Might be completely wrong but isn''t he off to the African Cup of Nations?
 11. McNally''s gone on record saying that there''ll be a new shirt every single season. I think it was something along the lines of ''if we want to be a big club, we''ve got to act like a big club'' and then he growled at someone
 12. Not that I''m biting but I''d love this were it true. Just knows where the goal is
 13.

Chunky buddy or any of you other stand outs... Do you stand at home games?
In the Barclay: yesAnywhere else: no
Thanks Chunky. People will accuse me of monopolising this thread soon but this stuff does genuinely interest me. For many years my seat was Lower Barclay E Block Row W, my family still sit/stand there but I no longer can. People in those seats know they will never sit and they also know they are not inconveniencing anyone else. People in other areas, the vast majority of people, stay seated so not to obstruct anyone''s view. Just as you have said. So why don''t people have the same concern for others away from home?
This is purely a guess - purely - but I would assume that it''s the ''hardcore'' (for want of a better word) supporters that stand in the Barclay who tend to dominate away games. Whenever I have been to an away game there''s definitely a different atmosphere and mentality, which personally I prefer.I keep saying this and am getting bored of repeating myself but the vast majority of the stand were standing on Saturday and I never once heard anyone complain or ask anyone else to sit down.
 14.
I don''t think you guys will have to worry....   How many ST holders bought their seat for Scunny and Donny?
True saying

 16.

Serious question but have the people who are complaining ever been to an away game in their lives? I have yet to go to a single one where we have not stood for the entire 90 minutes.
So I take it you didn''t sit in the first 10-15 rows or so at Fulham on the opening day. That was a constant sit down, stand up situation. The stewards worked from the bottom upwards and I remember constantly being able to sit down once the rows in front of me did. I also remember three pr!cks who refused to sit down hurling abuse at the fans behind them and refusing to sit down. I am sure it would of come to blows, as the three turned on our own fans, if it hadn''t of been for the Fulham stewards.I personally prefer to stand but as I am polite and courteous I will happily sit if those in front of me do.Davo
No I didn''t. I''ve been twice - once (funnily enough) on the terraces and secondly last season in the neutral end when even Japanese tourists were standing up.Still very surprised at the comments on here; I still maintain that I wanted terrace tickets but ended up having to buy seating tickets. Got into the ground to find that about 95% of everyone was standing so just found my seat and stood up too. People banging around words like ''c*nts'' (how do you know we have a disproportionate number of disrespectful fans?! On what quantifiable scale are you even judging this?), ''tw*ts'' and ''r*tards'' whilst simultaneously bleating on about disrespect and being rude need to take a long hard look at themselves in the mirror
 17.
Fair enough CN but although away support is more hardcore within that hardcore there are very diverse people.  I regard myself as away hardcore because I always go to the games but sorry don''t drink prefer to sit but still sing. That doesn''t make me a better or worse fan but would appear to in some eyes
Not to me it doesn''t, Mr Tiger. You''re a Norwich fan.
 18.
Point is Chunky it was never a problem when we didn''t sell out. I often used to move to another area ..problem solved. However at Southampton this season there were quite a few empty seats so several had moved across to be able to sit, then during the first half some lads moved from where they were standing to stand in front of those sitting.
For what it''s worth I have never stood in front of someone who wanted to sit down. And never acted like a drunken buffoon and sworn around young children. At home games I deliberately sit in The Barclay so I can stand, swear out loud and sing. I always consider other people around me in any situation.But. From personal experience (from 2000 onwards) I always anticipate away games to be more ''hardcore'' support and a completely different experience from going to Carrow Road including everyone standing, a lot more drinking, more singing etc etc. I''m genuinely surprised that someone has commented so angrily and someone else has suggested suing (which I assume has to be a joke!) on people standing at an away game.
 19.
Sorry Chunky I''ve been going to Norwich away matches since the 60s and it is only in the last few years that the standing in the seats has been universal amongst the City fans. I was actually looking forward to yesterday as there was terrace for those who wanted to stand & unlike you I was told seats sold out before terracing. Normally I just put up with having to stand, no point in trying to hold back the tide but when people choose to buy seats & then stand it is just totally selfish. So your legs get a bit cramped, try standing on tiptoe fot 90 minutes to try & see. It does seem that to the modern generation of City fans if you don''t stand, go to the pub before the game & worst of all wear green & yellow with pride (no not wigs!) you are some how not entitked to be there & should butt out
Fair enough, YotT; I''ve only been going since the ''00s and don''t want to say I know everything - it''s just I have never been to an away game where we''ve sat and if I''d walked in to London Road to find everyone sitting, I''d have been stunned.I''m a liberal kind of guy and people can support the team however they want IMHO. Different strokes for different folks and all that.I''m just not loving the mass branding of everyone who stood in the seating bit as a r_etard fairly arrogant and hypocritical and surely can''t be the only one to think as such
 20.

Serious question but have the people who are complaining ever been to an away game in their lives? I have yet to go to a single one where we have not stood for the entire 90 minutes. And just for the record the terrace seats sold out first and then people who were on the reserve list then got the seats. I was stood about 20 rows back and had to stand because the 19 rows in front were also standing. I don''t appreciate being called a r_etard by a keyboard warrior because of this.
err - try reading the post. Anyone who had to stand because of others in front of them can''t be blamed - it is the R_ETARDS who stood when they didnt need to who this is aimed at. And FYI - just because people ruin seating for everyone at most away games doesnt make it right - just makes it wrong most weeks. I believe we need to do a Sunderland and start banning our own away fans if they wont sit
Apology accepted.Did you sing?
