1. World War II ends! Whatever next, a man on the moon?
2. Christ this Crowe things''s getting boring, people keep basing their opinions on 20-minutes of first team action
3. Would that be the Thomas who left Stoke, went to Burnley as got subbed at half time last night? C''mon, must try harder
4. He was right to do so, there were countless times last night when Hucks went it alone rather than choosing an easier option. You can do your little flicks when you''re 4-0 up, remember Happy Clapper doing it in the Sheff Weds game, look what happened there
5. No I think you''re way off the mark. People say they saw Fowler locally, are these the same who saw Teddy Sheringham, Carl Cort and all manner of other players in the vicinity. Yesterday I saw three people who looked dead on like my sisters ex-boyfriend but none of them were. The simple fact of the matter is Fowler is on wages which in six months could buy us a decent lower league player, plus he''s past it
6. That really is whinging of the finest quality, well Neil I can''t wait for your lot to come down to Carrow Road as well so we can do you again
7. Not this old chestnut again, he was decent at reserve level and has now found a calling in League 2 where the quality is way below Championship standard. He''s not the first and he won''t be the last
8. Ian Walker-Still on a  fair wedge, we are blessed with keepers Clarke Carlisle- Surplus to requirements at Leeds, a few problems Maurice Ross-Moved to Sheff Weds, quickly moved out Craig Short- Is that the tune to Steptoe and Son I hear? David Unsworth- Ditto John Spicer - Average Marco Reich- Decent Seth Johnson- Injuries ago-go Ian Hume- Meh Kevin Doyle-Looks a good buy Billy Sharp- Surplus at Sheff Utd So on reflection I''ll stick with the bus fare home
9. King is not that great, cast your minds back to the xmas forest game a couple of seasons ago.
10. Exactly, that''s football and every player has a price. I think it would take something around £7.5M+ to tempt the club and I don''t see any clubs paying that much at this moment in time. What Worthy is saying is basically, if you want him then you''re going to have pay big money so come and have a go if you''re think your''e hard enough......nowhatimean
11. I think we looked a lot better once Hughes went off, we had Robinson doing the ''Holt'' role, Safri keeping ball and Ethu supporting the attack
12. One is an experienced defender, the other is a young striker, whats your point?
13.
Paul Hayes has scored twice for barnsley. Worthy hasn''t got a clue - hayes, crow, russel , dean sinclair, darren way etc etc who are all proven now in the championship, league 1 or 2 have all been allowed to go. Haynes who scored for the scum on sat was on trial with us but wasn''t deemed good enough. Then both Jarvis''s, henderson, shackell and other tlented youngsters will slip through as well and prove themselves somewhere else
Sorry but how are these players proven, they''ve all been league two and conference level apart from Russell and I wouldn''t say he''s top of many managers wanted lists. This is football, players get released all the time and go on to have a decent career in the lower leagues and nothing more - get over it
14. As I''ve said before, a striker is only as good as the service he recieves. Ashton is the best forward player we''ve had since Sutton, even Owen had a barren spell. Saying that Crewe only produce players that do nothing elsewhere is pretty blinkered when you look at some of the players that have come from there.
15. Offering the excuse that players are suffering a premiership hangover doesn''t really cut it when it comes to yesterday. The majority of the side barely/didn''t or haven''t played in the premiership. It would be nice for him to come out and admit the players he brought in the summer aren''t as good as the ones we let go, and that the problem areas weren''t addressed and are now being patched by loan deals
16. There are 20,000 season ticket holders, how is 1000 going to make a difference
17. To be fair to Deano a striker is only as good as the service. Play a decent ball in and he''s likely to score. Sadly we have been incapable of delivering any decent set pieces or crosses on a consistent basis. There''s no doubt he''s a class player but even the likes of Shearer, Owen etc would struggle to score in out current side
18. Fair play to those that choose to go away week in week out. But every away game is at least £35-50 per game without extras like food etc and why should you keep paying that to see lacklustre performances
19. Hopefully it''s all a smokescreen. If not then we''re paying far too much for Ethu and the line that money would be available for squad strengthening in the summer was bull as we''ve spent nothing not already brought in on player sales
20. Sounds to me like we''ve actually agreed a deal to sign him in Jan becuase he discussing personal terms. It has to be a loan at the moment because of the window, Hull have dine something similar with Port Vale
21. If he works out then great, if the signing makes us climb the table then great. I still think we need someone who can deliver a decent dead ball on the right, maybe shifting Hughes out there with Safri and Dickson will solve this. Only time will tell, Worthy deserves until Christmas at least to turn things around and this signing is a start
22. The secret is no secret, they have a moneybags owner who allowed the club to spend over £8M in the summer. Not many promoted clubs could do that on the kind of gates they had
