  1. Any news on his injury ? It didn’t look good when he limped off.
  2. It was a great evening Folks and wonderful to see CR rocking again. But a note of caution Bournemouth were less effective than Gillingham. It’s great to enjoy the moment but it had no bearing at all on playing in the Prem. We will not be allowed to play like that on Saturday .
  3. I wonder what he has done to annoy Parker . Sat in front of a terrible back four , was expecting him to be subbed but he was made to stay out there for the game. Did nothing . enjoyed watching him hate every minute . Enjoy the chumps Pearson you d1ckhead .
  4. Enjoyed seeing CR bouncing . Great result . Bournmouth were utter dross . We played expansive championship football - terrific reminder of how good we are against a low press side who chased shadows all night What it told me about how we will fare against stronger , higher press , more efficient on the break Prem sides I have absolutely no idea . There were times tonight where we committed players in advance of the ball and lost possession. We were not punished but I suspect it will be different against Prem sides . Shame about Mumba. He didn’t look good at the end after a decent performance. And what Ben Pearson has done to annoy Parker we can only guess🤣
  5. Vardy will just throw himself on the ground and get a pen.
  6. Ha ha . Had the most revolting hairy hands 😂🤣
  7. FFS . Richard Keys ? He went out of fashion with Ford Mondeos . Didn’t he roger someone when his wife was very ill? Class act.
  8. I’d be more angry if I had any idea who Alex Crook is?
  9. The pundits call this “game management” . It seems miles away from our psyche. Most teams will rotate the fouls . It’s been going on for years - Emi was a target last time we were up. He could be fouled 10 times by 6-7 different players.
  10. My goodness this thread is approaching a proper reasoned debate where fans can express some concerns about our performances ! Keep it up folks !!! I find this very therapeutic…
  11. Now now Cambridge don’t start getting all defensive . I think you are good value and I’ve enjoyed reading lots of your stuff . You just need to sloooow yourself down a bit . Yours in friendship 😍 GPB
  12. Give a rest Cambridge for Christ sake . Trawling through these threads is hard enough without this sh1tty nonsense . If we never win another game we won’t have any points. Go down , go out of the league , lock the gates and that will be that .
  13. This became apparent when we came up last time. I went to the West Ham game (when Zimmerman got kicked) and it was noticeable that we were out muscled all over the pitch. The physicality of the Prem is something that isn’t focused on but it’s there in abundance. I suspect that Webber and co are fully aware of this but can’t get the bigger players in. A fierce competitor in midfield is an essential need for this last week of the window. 12 consecutive losses in the Prem . It’s not great is it?
  14. I’m a bit fed up with the one game at a time approach. That’s our twelfth consecutive defeat in the Prem . (Wonder if that’s a record for one manager to lose 12 ? )
  15. He may well have been in it . It was all a bit of a blur . Ironically , “it was all a bit of a blur” is exactly the comment made by most of our players after the match (allegedly)
  16. I ended up watching Iron Man 3 just to avoid all sport . I’ve absolutely no idea what went on.
  17. Just seen club cabbage dropping off a load of fans at CR. These are the guys that we should listen to not a load of armchair knobends (like me ) I bid you good evening .
  18. To be precise - no one wanted to be Sheffield United, to move up north and change our kit to red stripes. But some did want to comfortably stay up that year which Sheffield United did . Just for the record .
  19. Compromise is a key attribute of successful coaches. If you don’t think a critical factor is the ability to compromise then you are being , oh I just can’t think of the right word 🤔
  20. A few points. . Not many teams will lose 8 nil to Liverpool / Man City this year over two games . Physically we are below standard and need stronger defensive players. .We are so used to being able to play out from the back that when we cannot we look frail . It works fantastically well in the Chumps ( we comfortably win the league) but it doesn’t work as well against a higher , more physical press. Survival in the Prem begins with not conceding goals. 8 in two games , against anyone , in any league , in any era , is seriously bad - and it is perfectly legitimate for any fans to say so.
  21. Agree there is an enormous gap. But Let’s see how many other Prem Teams lose 8 nil to Liverpool and Man City this season .
