1. No. The players are doing a pretty good job for us.
 2.
NEWS FLASH: Nowrich is hit by a major humor blackout. This Humor failer happend at approx 12:06. An eye witness said:
I think it is sarcasm Ginge[:O]
But it wasn''t enough to stem the humorless flow. Indications show that it may be wearing off but further analysis may be needed......
Warning - joke at 40,000 feet... You''re right, Depraved, either some of the above responders to this post are humourless, or just plain thick!
 3.
If Holt wants to be our main target man next season in the championship then he needs to learn when to jump for the ball. He always seems to be in the air way before the ball arrives. At a higher level he will get found out if he doesn''t work on that side of his game.
That certainly is the case for 50% of his heading challenges. The problem is that, when he does this, he is on the way down by the time the ball arrives, so he can''t win it.
 4.
I would have liked to see us use the diamond formation but with Oli doing Hoolahans job. Every time I see Oli in the side he looks to have the skill and vision to play that role.
That would certainly be worth a punt, he''s got the skill to drift past players and pass the ball to ffet.
 5.

I sit in the Aviva stand in the corner between the Jarrold and the Riverend and I had a perfect view of it and I can say that it was a 100%, definate penalty.  The players hand was well above his head and it hit him straight, smack on the palm.  When the whole of the riverend are stading up giving the ref abuse then you know something has happened!  Anyway I didn''t need that reaction by the Riverend to confirm it because I had a perfect view of it.
Clearly visible from the lower Barclay. PL said that the 4th official had said it was a stonewall too. Do the officials not communicate with each other????
I was in Manchester wearing a balaclava the wrong way round and had my eyes shut and still saw it. LOL! Seriously, as Lambert said, Michael Jordan would have been proud of the touch.
6. If we had won today, I would feel a little more relaxed. However.....no Hoolihan or Holt for a couple of games, tough fixtures against Orient (''new manager syndrome''), Charlton & Bristol Rovers away, the potential for more awful refereeing decisions at present. In my opinion, this is going to be a lot, lot tighter than some people think!
 7. It was another contraversial decision from an inept referee.
 8.

Chris Lines and Jimmy Abdou would be fantastic acquisitions for our midfield.
dont know much about him.
Plays for Bristol Rovers and has stood out every time I''ve seen him play. He''s an attacking and creative midfielder, a bit like Lalana at Southampton. Also very good at dead-ball kicks.

Hang on... it was 10% in the other thread...
It''s probably one of the few games that he has attended and is just being sanctimonious and self-righteous. See you again in another 6 months'' time.
Just because people lament your topics doesn''t mean you can jump straight on what you think is a PinkUn bandwagon and go for the OP here. The difference is this OP has a point where as in your topics you just look foolish. I''m still waiting for another cracker from you.. perhaps "Gunn why he should play in goal for us" or "Can we get Dean Ashton on a free from West Ham" although I doubt my attempt at creating a ''retard'' post comes near what comes naturally for you.
1. I''m not jumping on a Pink Un bandwagon - I think the OP is attention seeking. 2. If you want to have a go at me at any given opportunity, at least make it interesting or entertaining. Your posts are neither. Here''s 20p.
 11. I think that the frustration was warranted upon occasions. As a pro footballer (or even at semi-pro level) you''re taught to have a mental picture of what''s going on around you. Before you collect a pass, you have a 360 degree look around you to see where the next two or three passes can go (take a look at Paul Scholes for an example of how this is done). At times today, some of our players didn''t do this for whatever reason, Korey Smith being the main ''offender''. There were a number of occasions when play could have been switched quickly to the opposite flank if our players had been awake, thereby overloading the midfield / defence. I think that the Tranmere game made some of our lads mentally tired and it showed. I''m sure that a rest over the next few days will rectify this.
 12.

David fox?
Think it''s David Perkins..... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_Perkins_%28footballer%29
You''re right, it was him.
 13. It''s not as cut and dried as a lot of people may think. It may be one or two games until the end before we can be certain of promotion.

 15.

Newcastle promoted to Premiership... Only West Brom to go and we get a share of the parachute payments, yeah?
Good point, any idea how much that is,anyone?
Excuse my ignorance on this one, but why do we get parachute payments for this?
 16.
.......as some would have it. From the BBC live text feed today 38:10 Centre by Richie Partridge, save by Simon Lappin. 37:31 Declan Rudd takes a shot. Owain Fon Williams makes a comfortable save. Hmm. OTBC
With the power of his kicking, that might have been correct! Blust, bor, he can strike a ball right hard!
 17. Lambo seemed to suggest in his post-match interview that it wouldn''t be too long before he''s back. Whatever the length of his absence, we just have to get on without him. We can do it.
 18. No-one''s panicking, but (as Lambo has pointed out) we shouldn''t start celebrating until it''s mathematically certain that we''ve got past the finishing line.
 19. Are the fans bottling it? In short - no. We looked less than convincing against the worst side in the Division and it was only going to take one bit of luck on thier part to equalise. The players certainly looked nervy and the defence started getting deeper and deeper as the second half wore on.
 20.
A poor game with little spark or energy and the atmosphere of a pre-season friendly.  Norwich were wasteful with the ball, particularly in centre midfield.  Russell Martin did a reasonable impersonation of Jon Otsemobor on an off day for 90 minutes and generally the game cried out for Hoolahan''s creativity and energy. Rudd - 6.5 Drury - 6.5 Nelson - MOM - 7.5 Whitbread - 7 R Martin - 5 Lappin - 6 Russell - 6 - constantly giving the ball away, winning it back, giving it away again... good assist for Holt''s goal though McNamee - 6.5 - Anthony MacNamee... crosses it into Row P.... C Martin - 6 Holt - 7 Johnson (for Martin) - 6.5 MoM was probably the Stockport #25 who has dubious taste in peroxide but was a combative and feisty ball carrying midfielder.  Still, we won, we''re 3 points nearer championship football and the performance will be quickly forgotten.
I don''t know how you can give Whitbread more than players like Drury and lappin - he was awful at times today. Just shows how good the Doc has been this season.
