  1. It wasn't from the tunnel they dug in Porridge, because Fletcher confessed to Mr Mackay that they dug another tunnel and put it down there.
  2. Drab 0-0 in the drizzle with the booing starting on 54 minutes.
  3. It is his fault if he has markedly overpriced them, and is hanging on for offers at prices that will not come, only to take a low offer too late in the window to get resultant incomers (if any) ready for the start of the season.
  4. Looked at least a foot out, but the keeper was blocking the furthest away quarter of the goal, so it was a decent effort... Jaysus!
  5. Concise and to the point. I'd agree with most of that. Some rather fortunate outcomes sent expectations well ahead of the reality, and has made dealing with the return to reality tough for a lot of supporters. It's essentially cold turkey.
  6. Out of the two of them, I'd vote for the sheet of paper to be honest, so long as it's big enough to cover at least half of the goal.
  7. I'm not so sure. My fastest times are when I'm a bit late heading down to the chippy or the boozer.
  8. Of course it was. He's a decent player (with some obvious flaws), but he's not worth remotely close to £20m.
  9. ...which probably explains the unrealistic expectations of some on here with regard to potential income from sales of (or interest in) some of the current crop.
  10. It's crap. There's too much empty space inside the shield at the top of the sides, compared with the bottom half. Looks like there's something missing from the design.
  11. Tom Ince, or not To mInce, that is the question.
  12. If I wasn't so gullible, I'd tend to think it was a huge old heap of farmyard manure, etc.
  13. Why? Will they fold the club and sell all their players if the manager goes?
  14. But also, from a positive perspective, those broken legs and decapitations are always fully healed before the next game. Quick healer.
  15. The negativity comes not just from the performances of the last two seasons, but also from the logically justifiable fear of where the club might well be headed. Not sure that the fans can do much except hope for the best - without being provided with a reason for optimism by the club - that's just human nature. But to listen to all the cr@p from Webber, he's doing exactly the opposite of what's required, the only way the fans can meet him half way is to do exactly the opposite of what he wants the fans to do.
