1. Hey everyone. Apologies if this has already been covered, but does anyone know who George Wilson, one of the two trialists tonight, is? A quick search on the t''internet hasn''t gleaned anything...
2.
I still treasure my signed program.
I still treasure my inflatable cat, signed by Steeno himself. He looked rather bemused to be signing a cat, but its all I had to hand at the time. Dont ask.
3. I would not have though it was Gary Holt personally, he is a first team regular at Nottingham Forest still, and doing well might i add. I have to admitt though, I dont know who it might have been...Mulryne is my best guess, even though he is currently at Leyton Orient.
4. Agreed. I think Norwich can be proud of their display today. Despite the scoreline, they did not disgrace themselves at all. Very well done. I for one am proud. Norwich could quite easily have folded, but didnt, a sign of changing times?!
5. I have to agree with the Billy Jones shout..he looks to be a great prospect and is already perfoming to a high standard at the tender age of 18 (i think!). Greg Halford would also be a quality signing, hes a good player, and as has been said, can give cover in a variety of positions, which is important considering the size of the squad. I also believe that Kuqi would be a good signing, and whats more, he would be attainable i feel, what with Sparky going on a spending spree at Ewood Park. I still feel it is worth looking in the reserves of the bigger premiership clubs for loans. The reserve teams of Arsenal, Manchester United, Liverpool and Chelsea are bulging with quality players who are looking to go and show what they can do (although admitedly, many of the Arsenal players have gone on loan already!). These could be players for backup to Dukebox etc, or a''la the promotion season, a quality player in the mould of Huckerby and Crouch. I cant think of any player in particular at the moment, it is true, but there must be the players there....
6. Mmmmm, they both look very sexy from what I can make out from the pic. Looking forward to seeing what they look like when unveiled......
7.
http://craigcullen.co.uk/asp/players.asp?FirstName=nigel&Surname=worthington&Submit=Go
What a sexy beast!
8.
I thought Etuhu played well today. There I said it.
I agree Morty, Etuhu got stuck in and his passing was better, also thought Robinson wasn''t too bad, Hughes... he was the same as always.
9. First of all, I appriciate that these may or may not be true, I am simply passing on what I have heard. I know someone involved with the club and they told me several pieces of trivia. First of all both Ashton and McVeigh hate Worthington and his seemingly lack of skills. This was one of the main reasons why Ashton proceeded to leave the club. However the main info he passed on was that the club has already arranged for Worthington to leave at the end of the season and that is why nothing has been done as yet. Just thought I would pass it on and i must stress, this is not intended to be a anti-worthington post.
10. I love those shirts Beds, i would definately buy one. Have you ever thought of becoming a designer?! However, as much as I would love them to be our new kit, I am sure that the new kit has already been designed and a number of people at NCFC and Xara already know what it looks like, mores the pity......
11. Personally, I would love Billy Jones and Halford to be signed. Jones I belive could be attainable, but with Colchester all but promoted at the moment, Halford could be harder to sign. Both players are young, hungry and great prospects, just the sort of players we need rather than the ageing journeyman. I agree that you need a mix of ages and signing those two would be great and go a long way to solving the problems down the right of the pitch.
12. Hmmmmm....... If that all becomes true I will happily munch on my headwear, but for now i''m septicle!
13. To let Gallacher go now would be a massive mistake. He has shown in the past two games that he is a great ''keeper. Some of the stops he has made have been first class. I also firmly believe Green will leave in the summer, to whom? I couldn''t speculate. We already have a more than able replacement in Gallacher who a fee wouldn''t have to paid for and if no other ''keeper is brought in, there is Lewis waiting in the wings in reserve. Gallacher will be the number one at Carrow Road next season.
14. What ever happens i really really dont want to see Rossi played at right back, he would go the way of hendo-being played out of position and declineing as a player. I would love to see Halford being signed, but if Colchester get promoted i cant see that happening, hes a great player and would go a long way to solving the right sided problems. Eastwood wont come either as Southend are all but promoted, tho i would like to have seen him here too. We need a creative midfielder to be signed and a big striker, we are too lightweight up front at the moment i feel.
15. Following on from Middlesboroughs win last night, Maclaren has proven his credietilals in cup football. He won the leauge cup a couple of seasons ago and has shown witht he tie against Basle that he doesnt hold back with decisions when there is all to play for, he had four strikers on the pitch yesterday! Thge win against Roma furthers this. Imo, England could do a lot worse than to appoint him...
16. Very Funny mate Give him some credit, hes come out and said himself that he has not been playing well. I for one saw him play for Preston a few times and I thought he was very impressive. I am fully backing him to be a much better player and influence on the team next season. This season he virtually didnt play until he came here on the inital loan. He was and still is lacking match practice and the boo boys jumping on his back straight away cant have helped at all. Give him space and im sure he will be a much better player next season, he is a capable player, he just hasnt shown it to us yet.
17. I saw Greenos ''gesture'' and in all honesty I can say that it did not bother me at all, infact me and my mates found it amusing in an otherwise sloppy and drab match. I took it as a kind of celebration on his part that there was actually someone there for him to roll the ball to, meaning he didnt have to resort to hoofing it up the pitch.
18. 19. Been supporting Norwich proper since I was 7, had a season ticket since 1998.
19. For me its between McVeigh or Doherty. McVeigh has offered us something different this saeson - flair. Its good to see him back to his best again. Doherty has been a rock in the defence for us this season. Sure, he has given a few fouls away but on the whole he has been dependable at the back. He has also won alot of player of the month awards too, which add to the year award, so my money is on him winning anyway.
20. Sorry if im being thick, but is the current home kit not continuing  for next season too, after all it only came out this season. I knew the away kit was coming to an end and i would have to agree, Spurs away last season was THE best moment (tm) in the green kit, maybe its only good performance on the pitch.
21. Braveheart, I am inclined to agree with you about Bruce, the attributes you outlined are, to the best of my knowledge, correct. I would welcome him as manager, though i would be a little worried about his loyalty. Granted, it has only been the once he jumped ship from Palace to Birmingham, but he has also had a history of skitting from club to club..... As i said i would welcome him as manager but i would prefer a younger manager who is hungry for success to prove themselves.
22. The reason behind this xxx~Shrub ~xxx could be because the said man was trying to make a point. There were many people around me at the game who refused to join in the rendition of On the ball city because of the ''Situation'' with the mangement of the playing side of the club at the moment.I dont know if you could question his supporting the club over this, though i do agree with what you say about him not clapping the team, you should always support the players, no amtter what in the current situation.
