Money in the pot from today, we scored 2 and Sainz looked really lively, some really dreadful defending at times but hey, that’s not inclusive to this game, we are our worst enemy sometimes. All in al it’s next week and Coventry that the real focus.

Worst FA Cup memories...
Channon’s Windmill replied to GJL Mid-Norfolk Canary's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Definitely the Sunderland semi-final, for 90 minutes I just couldn’t believe what I was seeing, as the OP said, as a team we just froze on the big day. -
Ron Manager coming through loud a clear, love it……jumpers for goalposts, fat lad in goal hmmmm

Hilarious.🤣 -
Bit of noise around Aboh atm, wouldn’t be surprised to see him on the bench Sunday if Idah starts.

Wow not a bad team
Channon’s Windmill replied to Well b back's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Hmmm how do they do that? City are accused of breaching 115 regulations over the course of 14 seasons from the start of the 2009/2010 campaign. -
No I wouldn’t either Robert N.

Whatever manager we have, I would say it’s pretty fair to say they join the club with their eyes wide open and with the knowledge that we are a club that lives within our means and that there isn’t a golden cheque book. I very much doubt DW wanted to see AO sold at the last minute, he had been talking him up as the future club captain. But when he was sold to balance the books, though frustrating he would be well aware of the reason. Imo I am sure DW wants to bring in someone this window for a push at top 6 (we still might..but I wouldn’t hold my breath). Think there will be a new manager in the summer and that that decision has already been made. Whatever funds there are they will be held for the new man.

Percy of Telegraph linking Rowe with Villa

Probably easier to list the clubs Jonny hasn’t been linked with yet. -
Every day passes by
Channon’s Windmill replied to ncfc-tom's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Maybe one in-coming loan at the end of the window, will probably be about it, not really the exciting window we were promised. Sticking with DW will probably mean we get a new manager in the summer and a total revamp in line with his requirements. The out of contract players pretty much make the churn a formality then. -
If I was in the City camp I would be having a quiet word with Jonny and saying, this is your break out season, you’ve done amazing, here’s a new contract, give us and you a little bit longer here. I know he could jump now and and his agent will be seeing £ signs, but I would use Omo as an example of what could happen, grass isn’t always greener. If it’s just about money we have no chance, but if I was Jonny I would rather be playing than warming a bench or worse not making match day squads. Only definite is if he keeps performing we will sell him as that’s our model, I hope just not yet. That goal v Hull, genius.

Tonight’s game sack or keep
Channon’s Windmill replied to For the future's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Only half joking when I say what if we won and then he was sacked. We have got history. My thoughts , regardless of results he’s here until the Summer. -
Hull Predictions
Channon’s Windmill replied to Midlands Yellow's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
2-0 win for Hull, phone torches at the ready. -
I am neither happy with the club or the team atm, my personal discontent is with a multitude of things , but I do know the difference, thanks all the same. No feet stamping from me just an opinion that Wagner shouldn’t be in a job still but I also see the squads not good enough, money has been wasted etc etc
-
Everything’s just fine then is it Rob? If we win I will be happy and come on here and say so…. won’t change my opinion on where we are atm as a club on jot though because it’s not sustainable under Wagner.

If….big IF, we best Bristol Rovers Wagner could employ his 1-10-0-0 formation. -
Notts County 1982

Was a regular standing in the Barclay as a teenager back then. 12,500 in for this game which was slightly below the normal, 16k was a decent crowd with the norm around 14k. The crowd were certainly more vocal back then and there where some pretty original chants, however forgetting the nostalgia, coin throwing and worse was rife as was racist chanting, dark days, would be nice to have an in between atmosphere. I guess we did for a while under Farke. -
Fridays excuse is already primed then….’You just have to look at the quality they have bought in, for this we can’t compete’ DW.
