Not really - we are an ex premiership club, they are a lower champs side - our second eleven absolutely should dominate the game as a given. But we allowed a side we were dominating to score two goals - hence a shambles.

Masterclass? You’re having a laugh, it was a shambles. Constant runs down the flanks with no end product, and then resorting to lumping the ball into the channels in the hope something might come off. We scored from their lapse of concentrating after the Macallum injury, and a worldie that more other than not would end up in row z.

I think it’s a real shame. It’s probable it doesn’t get a huge audience, but then IMO, apart from the live sport, not much on 5 live does!

I miss them - they used to look great and created a real buzz.

I think he’s miffed at having to play another season of championship football. He berated the officials much more than he normally does - especially the away side Lino, and some of his decision making was a bit suspect. That said, he’s an utter professional, and will produce the goods again. Probably for the last season though.

Watching the strikers practicing sharpness in front of goals during the warm up, Sargent’s finishing is woeful - mind you, the other’s were not much better. The only other decent finisher we have apart from Pukki is Cantwell.
