  1. My son has got a grassroots tournament on Sunday morning, so can't make it back to Norfolk. We will hopefully make it home for kick-off if they fail to get out of their group (not that I'll be supporting the opposition)! If not I'll be watching Norwich on my phone and Hazlemere Youth U9s on the pitch. All part of the problem of being a season ticket holder and living 3 hours from Norwich.
  2. You can only buy extra tickets from 9am tomorrow morning if you've already claimed your usual seat.
  3. I can't make it back on Sunday and as it stands our seats and quite a few around them remain available.
  4. We need to be relentless on Sunday, I can't see us getting to the final unless we go to Elland Road with at least a two goal cushion. I would go with Sara in the number 10 role, supporting Sarg. Start with Sainz and Fassi on the wings with Rowe to come on at some stage (not that he's made much of an impact, other than at Preston, but will have had another full week of training). I think the rest of the team picks itself, the only question is whether it's Dimi or Sam at left back.
  5. NowTV Sports Monthly Pass with Boast is a viable option that doesn't cost too much if you have decent broadband. It allows three concurrent streams and includes all of the Sky Sports channels. We currently split a membership between myself, my dad and my father-in-law costing us about ÂŁ10 each per month.
  6. If we get there, I'm sure Greater Anglia will be creative and add a few direct services to Liverpool St. via Cambridge. The new fleet of trains is very adaptable and they have decent spare capacity at weekends. They ran an 11 carriage London to Norwich via Lowestoft the other week when there were issues near Diss.
  7. I think we'll win. Birmingham have to go for it, and with our ability to cut teams open on the counter attack, we'll end up winning fairly comfortably. I'm going for a 4-1 Norwich win.
  8. If my understanding is correct, I don't think it helped that he never properly lived in the area. It was reported that he'd either head back to Scotland on a Saturday night or Sunday morning and if there was no midweek game, he'd not be seen in Norwich again until the Thursday.
  9. We have an office in Leeds, so work with quite a few ardent Leeds fans. They have such a poor record in the playoffs, they're convinced that either ourselves, WBA or Hull will knock them out in the semis. Any hope of sneaking second seems to have gone.
  10. The UEFA blackout finished last weekend based on when the majority of non-league seasons finished.
  11. Birmingham need the win and will be wide open, will end up a 3-0 win for us and 5th place in the bag.
  12. Brentford are going down that route of just adding barriers, however we have contracted Ferco and as far as I'm aware they only offer a rail seating solution. The wording above could just be stating that a physical seat will still be available, just not the same one.
  13. As far as I'm aware, the club are installing the full RailSeat Ultra, not doing some half baked modification that includes the existing seats.
  14. To stop people standing on them. Standing was initially permitted in the likes of Germany for domestic football, but not European matches. So the seats would be locked out of use most of the time, but released for the Champions League, etc. where people were expected to sit.
  15. The work is happening during the summer ready for the start of next season. It will be all of the Lower Barclay, Snakepit and some of the away end (maybe the small section above the tunnel?). I believe it will be the RailSeat Ultra, more details here: https://www.fercoseating.com/products/sports/safe-standing/railseat-ultra. Whilst in Europe it's common to lock the seat part closed, that's not currently legal in a UK all seater stadium, so the seat part will always be available for use.
  16. Anyone got a similar freeze frame on the late Bristol 'winner' that was deemed offside?
  17. Wycombe Wanderers, having spent the last 10 years in this corner of South Bucks.
  18. Saints could still win the league based on the top 3 and their current form.
  19. Would take a point on Saturday, keep the gap to Preston with one less game to play.
  20. The strategy for January would have been under discussion some time before and it's really nothing short of a miracle that we are where we are now based on say our position of 14th and seven points behind the playoffs places back on the 1st December. I'm confident that the plan was (and potentially still is) to move on from Wagner this summer, so not investing in the squad was a logical decision ahead of a rebuild.
