  1. Paul Lambert. Norwich legend. Masterminded back to back promotions for us and league one obscurity for our nearest rivals. I absolutely withdraw my earlier suggestion he be removed from the Hall of Fame.
  2. I think we should let the boy sign and actually play for us before we pass judgement.
  3. What a generalisation. I think we've been down this road before where we listed the signings and come to the conclusion that there's more good than bad.
  4. He's entitled to his views and to express them. If he hasn't ever warmed to Farke, then so be it.
  5. Emi isn't anywhere near top for me, as wonderful a talent as he is. For me, as a child of the Mike Walker first era onwards, Ian Crook would always anaze me. I wanted to be him so bad as a kid! Wes is a close second. I think Dean Ashton probably third. Possibly the most talented striker I've ever seen at Carrow Road. A shame his career was cut so short.
  6. I mean you could even add a decent subs bench... Subs - Billy Johnson (GK), Rocky Bulshiri, Philip Heise, Isak Thorvaldsen, Savvas Mourgos, Alfie Payne, Mason Bloomfield,
  7. So here's the question - at what level do you think this side could be competitive? By that I don't mean storming the league - just maybe safely mid table? GK - Aston Oxborough DR - Caleb Richards DL - Sam McCallum DC - Sean Raggett DC - Akin Famewo MR - Simon Power ML - Diallang Jaiyesimi MC - Melvin Sitti MC - Louis Thompson MC - Charlie Gilmour ST - Carlton Morris
  8. Rob Earnshaw too. I always thought he was underrated.
  9. Not always. A Manchester City in poor form would still be the favourite at a bookmakers against most opposition, even if that opposition are in good form. Bank of England reacted by keeping interest rates as they are in anticipation of the expected affects of Brexit. Supermarkets buy and sell stock on the basis of anticipated demand. What's popular at Christmas isn't popular in the middle of July, for example. Etc etc
  10. Yes our Scottish contingent has been so terrible hasn't it? I mean Russell Martin was so bad he was involved in three promotions. Gunny had much more than two good seasons in ten and Whittaker played consistently and was underappreciated for five years for us. Then there's Simon Lappin, Chrissy Martin, Robert Snodgrass and Jordan Rhodes all who represent Scotland. Honestly I think Norwich has done quite well out of Scotland. Better, I would say, than our Irish contingent. Definitely better than the French players we've had at Carrow Road!
  11. See I think there'll be plenty of interest but it'll be as a back up or rotation striker and Pukki will decide for his Finland prospects he should be playing regularly.
  12. With this and the Phillip Scofield thread, you are most definitely pushing the boundaries of a forum specifically for football chat, Midlands
  13. Wait, is there such thing as a tax pedant?! 😂
  14. A chance to what? Do you think your opinion will ever change football? That's being a useless idiot. One man can change the law through politics. If you're so jaded not to believe it, that's absolutely fine.
  15. Politics actually means something. Football doesn't.
  16. The accounts are publicly available. We don’t have the cash available. Our owners do not subsidise the club whatsoever - they can’t afford to. I think you can succeed in the Premier League on a budget. Burnley are the best example of that. But to do it you need to recruit the right people. That absolutely hasn’t happened.
  17. Absolutely right. Nothing will change. ...except we might be eating poorer quality food when food standards are watered down as part of a trade agreement... ...and workers rights are diluted to make us more competitive in the global market... ...and to travel within the EU we will need travel documentation like a visa waiver program... ...and movement of goods across borders will become clad in red tape causing lorries to queue on the approach to ports... ...and we no longer have the right to live and work within other European countries... ...and EU funding will no longer be as readily available to support local causes, projects and businesses, affecting lives and jobs... ...and parts of the UK (Scotland and Northern Ireland) could well seek independence leaving England and Wales further isolated and irrelevant on the world stage... All of these things could happen. Indeed some are more likely than not to happen. To suggest most of our lives won’t change is utterly incorrect. All of our lives will change. We wait now to see just how much.
  18. Except Byram who has proven to be excellent business. I also think Drmic could yet prove to be a good signing.
