1. If we''d''ve sold him to Rangers we could have bought him back at half price.
2. Last season, the only way I got to go to the last game of the season against Cov was to get away tickets at CR, as I work in the dump that is Cov. it was easy to drop into the Ricoh and get them. I was wondering if i should put on a Midland''s accent for effect too! Anyway, yes, I did have to try and restrain from celebrating our two goals but when the final whistle went, it turns out there were LOADS of Norwich fans in the Cov. end !!OTBC
3. What is all this "bigger than" stuff people go on about without actually defining "bigger". I''ve heard some balony about club history and all that but how do you put a number against that? Surely it''s a function of no. fans in attendance each match day and club value.
4.

Yes we did our bit for them but such a shame they could not pile the misery on for the sour faced ungracious blind frog.
The Snakepit were singing the "always a victim; it''s never your fault" at the Scousers  last Saturday, I seem to recall.   It struck me that this particular ditty  would be equally aposite if sung towards Monsieur Wenger.......
We didn''t really do our bit for Spuds & Newcastle as we''ve beaten both of them and only had 1 point off the Arse.
5.

and with a win at Villa hopefully higherAwesome...Just need QPR relegated now
Amen! Down with QPR!
but a Stoke win against QPR will put them above us... for now. As each place is worth about £1m, I''d rather the results just go the way for us to end up highest!
6. and to think the Championship season that we were relegated, our 2nd highest scorer was the opposition!
7. That bloody van Persie. He must be worth more than the rest of the Arsenal squad. Is he likely to stay? I think if I were he I''d be looking to join a club that could win something.
8.
Unfortunately what must be remembered is that Paul Lambert will see NCFC as his employer and that being the manager is ''just another job''. Likewise the players who have no emotional bond to Norwich or Norfolk. When the moment suits Paul Lambert he will leave.... just like someone working in corner shop moving on to a better job at Sainsburys.
So you decided to ignore that he stated that he loves living in Norfolk and loves the (mostly) positive reactions he gets from the fans.
9.
But then a manager of the calibre of Martin O''Neill has never managed better than Villa and Sunderland. Are those jobs so much bigger than Norwich? Or do you think O''Neill has constantly turned down the big clubs?
I think that that''s a very good point ! Not wanting to put word''s in Lambert''s mouth but I''m sure he practically models his manergerial side on O''Neill. He still refers to him as "the boss" and readily admits his influence on him. Ideally, both Norwich (the club) and Norwich (the management staff) will grow at an equal rate over the next 5 years or so.
10. When did Norwich City last play Norwich United? Anyone know?
11.
From the tenor of his recent comments, and the feeling that we as a team are running out of steam, I think that our dear leader may well be on his way out at the end of this season. I am not sure what his destination will be, but I think for him personally, the time is ripe for an upwards move. He has taken us to Premier League safety in relative comfort, and after successive promotion seasons what is left for him to achieve here bar a gradual creep up the ranks of mid-table dullness? Though it may be painful to admit (especially given our excellent season), he is more likely to achieve European qualification with the investment available at a club like Villa than he is Norwich. I do not want Lambert to go, because under his tenure I have seen some of the most memorable Norwich performances in my lifetime, but I am increasingly convinced that the time is nigh for his departure.
OK, go to the bookies and put £100 on it !!
12. Of course, there have been some excellent results to get Norwich to this point:Liverpool 1 - 1 NorwichNorwich 4 - 2 NewcastleNorwich 0 - 0 ChelseaTotenham 1 - 2 NorwichSwansea 2 - 3 NorwichNorwich 3 - 1 Swansea
13.
Are Blackburn down, they''ve just lost 2-0 at Spurs and if the BBC stats are anything to go by they didn''t even have a shot on or off target in the whole game.[:O] Do they have any players who could do a job for us next year?  Obviously Hoilett but there''s zero chance of that, but what about someone like Formica?  Would wages be too much of a problem for us for most of Blackburn''s desireable players?
I really rated Morten Gamst Pedersen but haven''t really been following him for some years now. Was he ever any good? Is he still any good?
14. This is the first time since 1994 that Norwich have secured saftey in the Premier League. That deserves a :WAAA-HOOO!!!!
15. The brilliant thing about today''s result against QPR is that the Norwich board, manager etc can, as of now, plan for next season in the Prem. That''s only 1 day behind Swansea and some weeks ahead of clubs below us and the winner of the play-offs in the league below. That MUST be an advantage, surely?
16.
A special thanks to Torres for helping to make us "mathematically safe". Oh wait, Chelsea would have won anyhow!
Shame we can''t say the same of Suarez !! Still, he hot the post many times when Norwich were at Anfield, so that point there was much welcomed!Anyway, fantastic. this is the first time in 3 years that we haven''t changed leagues!
17. So we''re not safe until the final whistle blows!!
18. For those outside the Radio Norfolk area:Available on AM radio - 1053 & 1089 or DABOTBC
19. I was probably at the ''87 Norwich Liverpool and and will likely have the match day programme for it too!I really must scan some of those in.
20. Yes, for most Chelsea players, a match at Stamford Bridge is an away match!
21. I think West Brom will beat Villa this Saturday. West Brom have come up with some very good results and I know that their fans want to be The Midlands'' "Top Dog" this season.
22. Well, to quote nearly everyone''s grandma;"All''s well that ends well."Gunn, useless as a manager that he was, was a brilliant keeper for us and he signed Holt. Now we''re in Prem safety (as near as), then I don''t think that there should be any hard feeling towards him.
23.
Surman despite his goals this season needs to pick up his man when tracking back. First Giggs now Formica. Basic fundamentals are being ignored. Less we forget he is a professional footballer neglecting the simplest of duties a Sunday league player could manage. Not good enough. Fuming!
It''s LEST we forget. "Lest" meaning "with the intention of preventing" and is used in the subjunctive mood, which is quite rare.Carry on.
24. but you never know if a team will hit bad form or have financial difficulties. Villa don''t look up to much. West Brom have wobbled a bit. Arguably, Lambert will admit himself that he''s still learning; first time in the Premier League with lots of players in the same position too !
