  1. Can you explain how this amuses you? I’m struggling with the punchline
  2. McKenna wouldn’t go there. He might manage the scum but he isn’t a complete amoeba
  3. I’ve been to a couple of Trawlerboys games last season. Honestly, the quality of the football is shocking as a ST holder at Norwich it’s just very little technical skill at that level and mostly physical hoof ball. Lowestoft finished top 2-3 last season and played pretty dire stuff, with hashtag utd winning the league because they actually played some football. Pains me to say it sadly, as have a lad I know playing for them (I won’t name him after slating the side 😂). The other totally off putting thing about going to crown meadow is the group of about 30-40 14 year olds that do little bursts of chanting the most foul racist/homophobic/idiotic shi*e as they clearly think that’s what ‘proper’ ultra fans do, parents onlooking mixture of pride, ignorance or even joining in. I’ve got strong links to Lowie and it pains me to have to see it as it is, but non league is no substitute whatsoever for my season ticket. It’s not even that cheap tbh! Once I’ve got a train there, queued for ages for a pie and got my ticket it works out a bit less obvs but not enough to sacrifice the quality of the spectacle and atmosphere. Pubs around there are complete crud as well, with the exception of the Stanford Arms which a little gem
  4. Our defence is not better WITHOUT Hanley, it’s better WITH Duffy. If Hanley was fit and it was Gibson injured we would be better still imo. For those that feel Gibson is a better ball player, which I have seen such limited evidence of personally (not that Hanley is ‘better’ more equally ‘not very good’) - I feel Sara and Kenny coming deep to pick up the ball and make the passes is clearly our core strategy when playing from the back, negating any perceived benefit of Gibson’s supposed attributes. That said, he is what we have and a first clean sheet yesterday is what Duffy and Gunn deserve for their efforts
  5. If Barnes can enhance the skills of Sargent and Idah and Duffy likewise for Omo then Forshaw could well bring more to us than hud actual minutes on the pitch. Players like Gibbs and Nunez can take advantage of his experience and look to add it to their game. It’s all well and good trying to coach this into someone’s game, but having someone show you first hand is better for them
  6. I played for grasshoppers too before the dizzy heights of Loddon Utd for a year. Not sure it’s the best measure of second tier English footballing standards 😂
  7. I’ve seen much much worse down that strip on a Saturday go un-arrested with onlooking fuzz. Don’t blame them, hopefully the morons maim each other enough to prevent reproduction 😂
  8. We are limited by our ground capacity you tool. And it certainly wasn’t 29,600 by the 85th minute and being 4-2 down. That’s the trouble with the new crowd you’ve just acquired. They’re only in it for the wins, be interesting to see whether they stick around.
  9. If it was in the street it would be really weird.
  10. I’m not an Idah believer. Of course I hope I’m dead wrong, but we will now see with Sargent potentially out for a while. I’m not confident
  11. Only in so far as the OP is referring to preseason when Pukki had already left…. Standard idiotic post
  12. The PA system is not working ok. Distorted and cuts out, been like it for years. To be fair it’s for the announcers where the issue is, so might just be a rubbish microphone set up. Should be an easy fix and could probably be done from a fan who is a sound engineer for a corporate ticket as payment
  13. Wish him well and a great servant to the club at such a young age. but…if we are being honest, Stacey looks far more capable in the current set up and is positive and very keen to get forward. Whether it is the system that suits or Max dipping in firm (for 2 years!) then getting £7 million for him and bringing in a free is looking like outstanding business early doors
  14. Could we find a link to Teddy Sheringham? Let’s just make one up.
  15. Sara excellent, Sarge, Dimi, Stacey, Rowe, Kenny all very very good
  16. That’s not the issue. The sport is growing on a global level massively and rapidly. There is money to be made by clubs that invest as we have seen with the EPL. Failing to see this opportunity and growing market and try to exploit it is just poor business sense. While England sit near the top of the sport, we should try very hard to push our women’s side to a status that taps into the market. Now all the financial talk that is horrible and pretty anti-football tbh is dealt with let’s address the fact that having investment in the women’s team also increases the volume of the interested fanbase and subsequent inspiration to a generation of young girls in Norfolk - that and the extra sales of merchandise. Imagine Attanasio grows our USA profile and we get canary fans across the pond? You’d have to be pretty obtuse and limited not to see all of these positive reasons for developing and investing the budget positively towards the women’s team.
  17. Proud of the women. One step too far against an excellent Spain side and key players out. 4 years time and it’s ours
  18. **** that. He gets the stick he desperately craves and it’s never ‘unwanted’.
  19. I remember when I was 12 and first posted on a forum.
  20. I don’t know what anyone sees in Women’s football, the media ramming in down our throats when clearly no one wants to watch it. The stadium was probably full of actors, just like those fake Qatari fans, which is completely different because I won’t hear of a bad word about the mens game. I mean they’ve even hypnotised over 7 million people to watch it, during working hours when these people probably would rather have been getting their job done than intentionally taking time out of their day to watch something no one wants to actually watch… what a disgrace
  21. No it’s not. It’s respect for a nationally huge achievement that has far more interest and excitement than something as ****e as a coronation or other ceremonial ****
