  1. Quality wise, he's not great, but attitude wise, I love Williams. Right, let's have some attitude.
  2. Kicking / pulling / barging etc isn't going to cause a repeat of his problem, so not much. Would be an excellent signing for anyone below about 5th, even if he is only 75%. Can't believe a team better than Brentford wouldn't take a chance if it looked possible. Class player.
  3. I see your point but the same question back at you, how many points did Fulham need to survive? The same principle you mentioned applies regarding the results - if Burnley had only got 29, the others could have got more and then 29 may not have been enough. For a team in the bottom three to survive, they need to be overtake the team in 17th.
  4. I think it's exactly correct reasoning. Assuming one of the bottom three wanted to not finish bottom three, they needed to overtake the team in 17th. This required 39 points (+GD) or more. Unless you are magically introducing an 'extra' 21st team where they could finish 4th from bottom by getting 29+ points, but that is not the situation any of the teams were in. If Sheff Utd, West Brom or Fulham wanted to avoid relegation, they needed 39+ points.
  5. You can't be that keen to convert him into cash if you are so willing to terminate / not renew his contract. Sell him by all means, not renew is silly and pay his contract to terminate is Cambridge levels of "look at me I want attention so I say something absurd / inflammatory".
  6. Hugill is and always has been rubbish. It's not his fault we signed him but it was a terrible signing at the start of last season and would be an abomination in the Premier League. He can control it further than most players can kick it and looks f*cked after five minutes. Nowhere near good enough and never was.
  7. I thought that after I posted it. I spent my teenage years watching them dominate. However, I don't think he's 'current' Man Utd quality, let alone anywhere near historic Man Utd quality.
  8. I'm in two minds on this. Part of me thinks he's being a d*ck, but the other part doesn't see any real evidence, just guesswork. So I don't want to condemn him. However, if he is a bad egg, we probably want to hide that (as much as we could), so somebody actually buys him. We'll find out after he has left, but personally don't want to jump to conclusions, even though 2+2 probably does = 4.
  9. I don't think he's that good but I like that he gives a sh*t, puts his foot in and body on the line, with the odd forward charge. He's alright, but not Man Utd quality.
  10. And the chasing back and slide tackle on a man running at goal. He's not just good, he puts in a shift and is not selfish too.
  11. Personally, I'd replace: Hanley - Andy O, Williams - Dimi, Gilmour - McLean (or a random member of the crowd), Cantwell - A new signing (depressingly, nobody is any good).
  12. Why is his value 15-20 and who valued him at that? I could value my house at 10,000,000 but nobody is going to pay me that for it.
  13. Who in their right mind is spending 15-20 on Cantwell, let alone 25+? >15 and snap their arm off.
  14. It amuses me that you think he is being serious. Please continue.
  15. A Mr Mo S. has just phoned and he called you a swear word.
  16. Would be awesome for us but less awesome for him. It's a signing I'd love as he is clearly brilliant and much better than anything we have. The trouble is, why would he come here when there are many, many more clubs who would be interested in him who could offer him much better players to play with and more money and not losing every week? No chance of him coming here. Unfortunately.
