1. Stop using Sky as means to indirectly have a dig at the club. How do you know you would have got us in the play offs. You don''t because you were sacked for being a f*****g disaster.
2. I have a season ticket, but am away in Hong Kong until December, but have been following results and have listened to the odd game online when possible. It seems to me like we are doing ok. Everybody is so positive after a victory. Yet when we are defeated i.e. last night, everybody is on PL''s back. I would have certainly taken 6th place at this stage of the season after the start we had. 6th place and anyone but Gunn in charge is great in my opinion. It just seems that when we lose people tend to overreact. When I read SOME people''s posts, it seems they luck a basic understanding of how football and business works.
3. And people say Gunn deserves credit for our signings. Whaley was certainly a cracker, wasn''t he?!
4. They are all people so we are bound to see them around and about quite often. Only Norwich players after all.
5. Gunn signed more poor players than good ones. He was a poor manager in every aspect. So so so so so so glad he is gone.
6. It''s annoying when these links don''t work. Cutting and pasting is a royal pain in the arse.
7.

According to EDP this morning, Roeder is tipped to be named as assistant to Sven at Notts County. If we have been paying his salary monthly, could the fact that he may be getting a new job save us some money ? It never ceases to amaze me how the same proven failures keep getting jobs, ie Bryan Robson for Thailand and John Barnes at Tranmere, this must give hope to Tony Adams and Glen Hoddle (even Bryan Gunn ?). It must also be frustrating for a rookie boss trying to get a new job.
It never ceases to amaze me how people like you regard Gunn as a failure. You name Roeder as a failure hence your thread. Gunn took over from your named failure just before the end of the January transfer window and with bugger all money to spend anyway and accepted the poisoned chalice and crap squad that was Roeder''s legacy, unsurprisingly did not succeed in reversing the slide to relegation, during the Summer shipped out much of the dross and players that didn''t want to wear the shirt, re-habbed a number of existing players (Lappin, Drury, Spillane, Martin) and brought in some excellent players - look at the players who performed so well on Saturday - had the misfortune of a horrible one-off game (just like Moyes and look where Everton are now) and gets labelled a failure. I want Lambrini to be a success and despite his poor tally of 3 points from 4 matches he must be given time to prove how good a manager he is - a luxury not afforded to Gunn. Lambast inherited a good squad of players from Gunn as witnessed by 5 - 2 against Wycombe and 2-0 away against Hartlepool and battling draws against Charlton and Gillingham so let''s hope he gains a maximum 6 points from our next two home games - anything less and questions will start to be asked as to his tactical and man-management skills.
How can we NOT call Gunn a failure, look where we are? He was a shocking manager. Roeder would have kept us up!
8. Why do people comment on things that they say they are bored with. If you''re bored of this then don''t bloody comment and leave it to people who do want to debate it. I think it would be a mistake for Hucks to come back. He''s had his day at Norwich. Maybe Notts County would take him.
9. I don''t think it shows a lack of understanding at all. Yes the club has been run badly, I don''t deny that. However, Roeder (although a poor manager) was good enough to keep us in the Championship. Gunn on the other hand took the job when he shouldn''t have done. We were NOT in the relegation zone when he took over. He signed poor players and didn''t have what it took to keep us up! I''ll say again, he can complain all he wants on Sky to try and get sympathy, but true fans and fans who understand the game know that Gunn was always a poor choice.
10. My first and lasting memory of Huckerby was when we played Reading at home. I think Huckerby scored the first, they replied, and we got the winner in the last minute to go 3rd in the table. Huckerby was fantastic that night, and I remember being so excited that he was a Norwich player. I think from that game I knew we could get promoted that year. It was a great feeling.
11. He got us relegated. Ok, Roeder didn''t help, but I think Roeder would have kept us up! Then in the summer Gunn bought League One players, look at Simon Whaley, he''s gone to League Two on loan. Brilliant. Gunn seems to get praise from some areas regarding his signings, but I don''t see how. Grant Holt, McVeigh (so far), Askou - these are the only players I rate out of the 12 Gunn signed. The man played a part in killing this club along with the rest of them. He can bitch and moan on Sky Sports all he wants about being sacked and how he should have been given a chance. He had his chance and he p****d it up the wall. Joke.
12. This is not a good idea. He didn''t play for us for 10 years, why give a testimonial? Ok he was a popular player, but he''s retired now, lets move on.
13. If it is Huckerby then it kind of proves, in a way, that Roeder let him go at the right time. Although I would have preferred to have kept DH.
14. I don''t rate Martin very highly. A bit big headed and arrogant for my liking.
15. Gunn wanted to be Mr. Popular. He wanted the fans, players, board, everyone to love him. He would have signed Huckerby back for sure, just to make him loved. He reminds me of a football version of David Brent. Confusing popularity with respect, and f''ing things up big time.
16. Not a bad idea to have a blog, but surely Chris Lakey has enough outlets now to give us his thoughts on all things NCFC, without this blog.
17. I really couldn''t care less what McNally comes out and says. I''m still on cloud nine that Gunn has gone and we can start being a proper football club again. You can''t run successful businesses on sentiment, which is quite clearly what the club were doing. I would have liked an expansion on "pre-game behaviour" but not to worry, I think we all know hat it means, we just want it clarifying. Someone said earlier that it was probably like a holiday camp under Gunn, probably was. He wanted to be popular with everyone, like David Brent. Unfortunately he fell flat on his face.
18. it wont last so may as well get my laugh in while i can hahahahahahaha
