1. I think it''s Hughes you''re forgetting, but I could be wrong...
2. Still, it''s a good 3 points on the board... right?
3. Win the first half (1-0), lose the second half (0-1) thus drawing the game (1-1).
4. Voice of a generation, man of Norfolk. Rest in peace now.
5. One would hope so, but not for the sake of it, or at the expense of contracted players pre-season conditioning. I''m sure agents aplenty will be calling Lambert as well as sending DVD''s and weblinks of potential players for him to look at.
6. In reply to: Anderz, I''ll happily oblige: 1. We have a better chairman 2. We are not Norwich City 3. We have a big screen 4. We are from the oldest recorded town in the country. 5. We all have the correct number of digits. So, let''s look at your answers, shall we? You may feel that you have a better Chairman, but on the evidence of our Chairman coming in and turning the Club around and making it profitable again would suggest you''re wrong. The fact that we''ve signed 4 players already, to your none, and that our Chairman is looking at more, whilst Robbie Cowling has stated that the cupboard is bare for your new Manager would rubberstamp the notion that you''re now making things up. You not being Norwich City is hardly a reason for being better Norwich. That would only loosely work as an argument if you were in some way superior to us, which you currently are not, as we''re literally in a different League to you. I believe your big screen to be a sign of massive importance... to no-one in particular, but each to their own. I''m lost as to how this even remotely supports your argument of Colchester being superior. Incidentally, I do hope you don''t leave it on standby overnight, as it''s bad for the environment I believe. Admittedly, I can see how being the oldest recorded Town in the UK would make you a superior footballing Club, erm, no, wait, remind me again how that''s a factor? Having the correct digits is an odd choice, because surely having five fingers rather than 4 would be beneficial..? Are you suggesting that having less is actually better than having more, because if so, your points score last season means you should have been promoted over us, as you had far less. Maybe Cowling should approach the FA about this?
7. Colu_Mike: List 5 attributes that Colchester are superior to Norwich in? I''ll do likewise: 1. Norwich are in a higher division, 2. Norwich have a larger support both home and away (I could have listed them as 2 points, but I thought I''d be kind), 3. Norwich''s ground is bigger, 4. Norwich have a better history than Colchester, 5. We have much better training facilities than Colchester. Admittedly we don''t have a screen, so you''ve beaten us hands down in that department. As for Cowling; he might have your Club at heart but he seems very limited in his understanding of how to manage a Club. I''d much rather our board and manager to yours.
8. Hasn''t Keane already worked with and fallen out with Chopra at Sunderland?
9. I''m going to buck the trend here I think. To sum it up: I support Norwich whilst I''ll loosely be following England. I just don''t have the affinity with England players that I have for Norwich players. My housemates have spent a small fortune on getting Sky HD+ and a large LCD screen in readiness for the World Cup, and whilst I''ve chipped in my share, I doubt I''ll get the same sense of enjoyment that they''ll get from the World Cup games shown. I''ll more than likely watch the tournament as a whole, rather than specifically England games.
10. How long were you in your mates toilet for to be able to read an entire book?
11. Forgive me for asking, but how would I be any richer if I put a pound into a jar everytime I read a transfer rumour? Surely I would remain as rich/poor as I was before putting the pound in the jar..?
12. Norwich''s promotion first and foremost, everything else pales in comparison and importance.
13. Spainboy/Ladyboy: We''re all looking forward to your trophy presentation...
14. Listening to and watching Australian Football... Go Eagles.
15. In addition to what''s been said, I''d hope that the loan deal for Forster would be concluded as soon as possible, predominantly for Lambert''s sake so that he knows where he needs to strengthen, but also for us fans so that we know Forster''s coming ''home''.
16. http://www.givemefootball.com/pfa-transfer-list-2010-11 will be showing all the players who are available on a free, and maybe the length of contract that players have with their current teams. Apologies for getting the weblink to link.
17. **unloads pistol** Damn, not quick enough this time... lol
18. Defensively we were very good, but we were playing 5 fullbacks.
19. On behalf of Paul Lambert: "You''re welcome..."
20. Awesome result, and one that banishes last year''s debacle. Onwards and upwards...
21. We''re understrength, and Orient are playing what appears to be their best game of the last few months by the sounds of it - we need to dig deep.
22.
There is a guy who is supposedly Neil from Norwich who has joined the Main site to start 2 posts saying the same thing:Appalling, childish behaviour from Gary Karsa tonight. Gary, be ashamed of yourself. I turned off Sky to prevent my son from seeing your obvious foul language to the referee. Sit in a dark room and reflect.
Don''t quite understand the bit where he turned the TV off when Karsa was sent off. With Karsa being sent off he was no longer anywhere near the touchline, and subsequently was no longer visible or in the vicinity for this guy''s son to see or hear Karsa''s foul language.
