I honestly don't understand the moaning.
CirclePoint replied to Ramrod's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Also, we looked completely disjointed. Whenever a player had the ball, it seemed they didn't know what to do with it. Too many stray passes. Players struggled to link up. Poor first touches. The only moment of real quality was Pukki's goal. -
Have we forgiven Hanley yet?
CirclePoint replied to cambridgeshire canary's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
I agree. He feel he throws himself into challenges too recklessly for me. -
Firing Farke without a replacement
CirclePoint replied to 1902's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
I would agree with everything except the last sentence. I can’t agree that this is the lowest point. But I do feel that if this situation isn’t rectified quickly, we will spiral down to such a point. In all honesty, I feel that if this is mishandled, we could be playing ITFC in league one in three seasons. -
Maybe consider a title that isn’t a question that implies John Terry as manager, maybe?

Thank you Daniel Farke for cultivating the most dynamic, fluid and entertaining style of play that NCFC has ever seen. I wish you and yours all best as you move forward with your managerial career.

From the PinkUn -May, 2021 ”At various AGMs during the last four years, the ambitions of the club have been outlined, which has included the aim to become an established club inside the top 26 of English football.” As painful as it is to witness the results on the field, from the business side, everything is actually going according to plan. What say you?

Todd not training? WTF is going on?
CirclePoint replied to Harry53's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Todd’s attitude has probably got the better of him, again. Also, from what I’ve seen so far this season, he’s lightweight on the ball and the opposition don’t fall for his tricks, so he becomes stroppy and a liability. I guess I feel Todd is a poor man’s Cristiano Ronaldo. He simply needs to get his act together and step up. -
From a fan's perspective, you are 100% correct. But if the business model is to be a financially self-sufficient, top 26 team were young talent is bought cheap, developed and show cased in the NCFC store front window for other clubs to buy at an insane profit, then it would have to be acknowledged that the plan is working. It's a matter of perspective. As a fan.....it sucks. But maybe the plan isn't to be a stable premier league team. It seems NCFC are perfecting the profitable art of yo-yoing. And to add...... Does anyone actually think we'll ever win the Premier League, or the FA Cup, or challenge in Europe? As fans we'd be happy with mid-table mediocrity for a while, but that's our ceiling in our current set-up. Mid table mediocrity simple means hemorrhaging millions of pounds. So, it looks like NCFC are taking an alternative route. What can be said is that NCFC have at least tried harder this go around in the Prem than before.

This is what happens if you question VAR
CirclePoint replied to Well b back's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Wow…What?…I have to sit down. This is probably the most sound and immediately applicable solution I have read on this forum. It would really take nothing at all to make this happen. Excellent idea. -
NEWS FLASH…..JUST IN…… Chelsea FC are lending players to other clubs in order to improve the strength of their assets. STOP. It is guesstimated that those players will either be: a.) signed to the first team. b.) sold to the club that they were loaned to. c.) sold to a different club. d.) encouraged to find a new vocation. STOP. In seems therefore that Chelsea FC are operating their club like a business. STOP. Some people are upset that they are able to do such a thing on a larger scale than the club they support. STOP. I wonder if these same people who complain about Chelsea FC’s loan activity would also complain if NCFC were in a similarly strong position and did the same thing? STOP. I wonder if these same people who complain about Chelsea FC’s loan activity would also complain of NCFC were in a similarly strong position to loan players, and didn’t? STOP. Get over it. We are where we are, doing what we do and other clubs are where they are, doing what they do. STOP.

Serious question, if we had a gay player...
CirclePoint replied to TeemuVanBasten's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
What irritates me is if say, I look for and then buy a pair of shoes online, for weeks after I’m still hounded by ads for shoes from the very company I bought from. -

I agree. But the question was, would you look that player in the eye and recto end that they come out in public? -
Tottenham Supporter Group Demand Answers
CirclePoint replied to Kenny Foggo's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
This. There won't be a singular answer that will appease those who are demanding one. Further, the level of placation by the board would be nauseating. Your examples are excellent with regards to when it would be a relevant to demand answers. Having a bad run of games does not justify demanding a meeting with the board. -
Norwich city need to listen to the fans
CirclePoint replied to For the future's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
All fans are created equal. But some fans are created more equal than others.... 😉 -
Mathias Normann Interview - post Everton
CirclePoint replied to Sussexyellow's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Eventually. But a little too soon. -
Have you changed your mind?
CirclePoint replied to Ken Hairy's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Also, there a a few relegation release and probably buy-out clauses, so I feel we’d be stripped of our new signings. -
Is the Season over already?

Only 3 points from safety
CirclePoint replied to The Great Mass Debater's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
The intensity and pressures of a game are very different from any practice scenario that a coach can create, no matter how hard they try. For example, how could DF have prepared the team for the physicality of the game they just played against Watford without significantly increasing the odds of a player being injured in practice? ‘Telling’ the new players, some of which have not played or have not played for very long in the Prem, and reviewing games will not prepare anyone for how Rose (or the other Watford players for that matter) will bulldoze through them in real life.
