  1. This would be a ‘no’ from me. I absolutely DO NOT want the fans to have a final say. Unless there was a reality TV show so we could witness the clown based, animal farm circus that would place this club in a hand-basket with a one-way ticket to League One. No thanks. I prefer people who know what they’re doing to be in charge.
  2. And with that goal yesterday he only added to his value.
  3. I absolutely agree. In reality it would be truly embarrassing for them. On the other hand, I would actually fear for the safety of our players.
  4. The only reason a grown athlete should be going down by being struck with a hand to the face is if they receive a solid right (or left) -hook to the jaw. If they get struck in the eye, then fair enough stop playing, otherwise they should stay on their feet and get on with it. The sad thing is that between VAR and players becoming more adept at conning the ref, the integrity of the game is disintegrating.
  5. It would indeed be sweet if Watford where the ones to perform the Guard of Honor!
  6. Truly an amazing season! It is the best I have witnessed. The quality and class of this team from start to finish is something I will always remember! Congratulations and Bravo to everyone involved @ NCFC for putting this season together during a very difficult time.
  7. With Swansea 15 points back and only 5 games remaining, they would have to win all of their remaining games and we would have to lose all of our remaining games for them to catch us. Plus, Swansea would have to score 19 goals in those remaining games to climb ahead of us. Am I missing something, or are we (technically) promoted?
  8. It may or may not be beyond the team...but it is definitely beyond Steve Bruce’s coaching abilities and understanding.
  9. Ahhhh... again. No. Your response here has no correlation with what you said in your post that I quoted and responded to. Farke has every right to moan at his players. Farke is not a pant wetter. Your post made no mention of fans moaning or the rights there of.
  10. I think if we win today, then we’re up. If we win and Swansea win, we would be 15 points clear of 3rd with 5 games to play. Mathematically we would not be up, but We would have to lose our remaining 5 games and Swansea would have to win all of their remaining games, while scoring 19 additional goals to beat us on goal difference. So even though we can still be caught by 3rd place.....probability says......we’re up!!! - If we win today..;)
  11. Uhmmmmm... by my math, enough injuries will scupper any team’s season. That is one of the inherent aspects of sports.
  12. 100% I also hope the club can convince Farke and Webber to stay for another five years.
  13. I see what you’re getting at....but no. Harry is average at best. The reason he was involved with clubs who could only offer limited budgets and managed across all levels of the game is because he isn’t that good of a manager and most of those clubs were desperate; Tottenham being the exception. He has spent stupid money everywhere he has gone because he thinks he can buy victory, rather than coaching it. In fact, he has lost more games as a manager than he’s won and collectively his teams have allowed more goals than they have scored. If he was any good, he’d actually be managing a team right now, not ‘retired’.
  14. Yes...we do need VAR. What we don’t need are the monkeys watching the monitors!
  15. If the pension contribution plan is true - I haven’t done my homework- then to me, that verges on criminal. To place the future financial well being of people and their families on an investment in ITFC is ludicrous. There is no way in hell that that investment is going to offer an ROI that warrants the risk. There are far stronger options available to investors than a flailing and failed football club.
