You're Getting Sacked In The Morning.
Coneys Knee replied to TIL 1010's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
I agree, he needs to go. Time is up. But do you honestly think that things would improve under a new head coach? This squad is dire and even our best players are no better than average. I honestly believe this club is stuck in this position until there is real change at the top. I.e. Delia and Michael have stood down completely. Until then we’re just going to be stuck on this same path I fear. -
Why is Sainz not firing on all cylinders?
Coneys Knee replied to canarybubbles's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
From what little I’ve seen of him he doesn’t look deserving of the start everybody seems to be clamouring for. More questionable recruitment again is how it looks. -
Wagner needs to stay....
Coneys Knee replied to lake district canary's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Wagner is on borrowed time. If he makes it as far as the Ipswich game, then that is the only game in which he has any chance of winning back the majority of the fan base. Lose it though and he’s done. -
You’re a brave man, I shall be switching everything off and going for a long walk along winterton beach

Danial Farke and Sam Byram

What does it make you wonder? -
He’s a good player but he’s not a premier league player yet in my opinion. He stands out in a dreadful squad but would I put him ahead of some of our other recent midfielders in their prime? No way.

Did anybody else have a chuckle to themselves on canary call on Saturday when knapper was called Keppier by one of the callers. Classic bit of Norfolk that, I thought!

We need a left footed centre half.
Coneys Knee replied to daisy's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Ours maybe but I’m sure is an endless list of right footed centre backs playing in left sided roles that would prove my general point very much right no? -
We need a left footed centre half.

And a reformed EPL so we could actually compete in it if we get there -
We need a left footed centre half.
Coneys Knee replied to daisy's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
I don’t know why people obsess about needing a left footer to play in left sided positions. In fact, when it comes to full backs, for example, I’d like to see left footers used at right back more often and vice versa considering how many wingers cut inside these days. I certainly don’t think it’s a detriment to have a right footer playing on the left side of central defence. A good defender is a good defender regardless of which side of the centre he’s standing when the game kicks off. -
We are a CDM away from being half decent

No we’re not -
It’s about time Lampard realises if he wants a successful coaching career then he’ll need to lower his sights a little.

I can’t deny that have those exact same concerns. Zoe Webbers “couldn’t believe the calibre of candidate” appointment m” and then delivers Ben knapper “could” back fire on her big time -
Even if did they’d pick the worst they could

Rotherham v Ipswich

If Leeds can kick Farkeball into championship first gear they’ll finish above ipswich. Russell Martins teams tend to get stronger as the season goes on. Time yet -
KNAPPER NOW STARTS NOV 13TH
Coneys Knee replied to hogesar's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
The bit where “city’s hierarchy have already drawn up a list of replacements” worries me. Who exactly, if true (granted, unlikely) would that hierarchy be? Assuming Knapper would’ve had limited input up to now, who on earth in that club right now could be trusted do draw up a new coach shortlist. On that basis I think I’d almost rather keep Wagner!!! -
Each to their own but I don’t think fans wanting to go to the games to support their club through “thick and thin” is a problem. The problem is the acceptance whilst in the stadium. The heat needs to be turned up, inside and outside of the stadium. I really don’t think not going makes a huge statement. Turning up but staying outside the stadium in protest I’d like to see. Or failing that, ramping up the message inside would be a start.

I think it’s a dangerous game they’re playing for themselves as every game they leave Wagner in charge builds resentment towards them. We all know Wagner is gone at some Point in the near future. They could ease the pressure on themselves by getting rid. Keeping him will, I’m convinced, only act to turn more people against the ownership. Dangerous and somewhat ignorant move by the so called “leaders” of this club. The heat simply has to be turned up against delia and MWJ, forget Wagner and Webber, they are dead men walking. It’s our only chance.
