I searched through every page to see if anyone had mentioned Huckerby. Mr Angry you got it right. I know times have changed but I think Redmond is being asked to do what he is rubbish at. Huckerby wasn''t renowned for getting back defending and maybe he isn''t the player Huckerby was but let''s give it a go. His form isn''t getting better, maybe his head isn''t 100% there. Let''s give him a job that''ll fire him up. If this doesn''t work we won''t have lost anything because he''s a liability in defence. If it does work he might just have the impact that Huckerby had and see us over the line and stay up.

For the first goal he wasn''t watching where the ball was he was just trying to hold the player in front of him. Didn''t even try to jump for the ball. The second he just stood off and let AV pass round him. If he had got stuck in he probably wouldn''t have got the ball but he wouldn''t have given the player the time to pick his pass. Yes I know none of our players played well and some made some howlers but they don''t do it every week.

I think this could be the problem and maybe Naismith could be joining that group going by his reaction at being subbed. Redmond is coming on and just going through the motions. I just think AN''s tinkering is pi55ing everyone off. Players are playing great in a game then the following week are dropped (except RM). What has happened with Odjidja? Played a couple of games and looked really classy, now can''t even get on the bench. Ryan Bennett can''t get on the bench even though the other centre backs are useless. Wisdom isn''t he a better choice than Martin?

What did caller say to get cut off? He was talking so much sense but I missed what he said at end but he was probably just getting frustrated just like most NCFC supporters.

Agree about RM but Brady??? Without his brilliant tackling throughout the game Liverpool would''ve been out of sight way before the end. These timely tackles were not all shown on MOTD but those at the game were continually applauding his play.

To criticise Brady is crazy. Some of his tackles were absolutely brilliant. The problem he''s got is he has to cover for other players who aren''t doing their job right. IMO and for most of the people I go to the match with, he''s way ahead for POTS

During a stoppage in the match I saw RM having a talk with Pinto, seemingly pointing out what he should be doing. Maybe that was why Pinto was caught out of position several times.

Headless chicken springs to mind! I pointed out to my mate at one point to watch him. It was so funny he just ran backwards and forwards between Liverpool players doing nothing. He lost the ball so many times and when he did get the ball he just passed it backwards.

Howson has been one of my favourite players for quite a while now but like Tettey ( in my opinion ) and Martin has been playing crap for a few games now. Howson wandered around yesterday looking dazed and with his head down and really didn''t look as though he wanted to be there. Also there was no leadership there, no one geeing the players up. Last week in the under 21s game we had three senior players who are ready made replacements for them in Mulumbu, Odjidja-Ofoe and Wisdom. If AN is as ruthless as he''s reported to be ditch them players and bring in players who want to play. Even with the bench these players are better than we had there. We were saying yesterday who on the bench could AN bring on to change the game, maybe Dorrans but really there was no one who could change things.

I''ve got us down for a 2-1 win today but I''ve got a horrirrible feeling our defence is going to be found out today. I really can''t believe the defence hasn''t been improved so far in this transfer window.

I along with most others wanted RVW sold but if he''s still here when season starts then I believe he could be good for us. Last time in Premiership tactics played a large part in his performances. Game after game I could see his frustration at having to go back to his own penalty area to get the ball then losing it going forward. We just didn''t play to his strengths and then the bookings he got were either frustration tackles or striker tackles in his own half. Given the right supply from midfield I believe the goals will come.

Ldc a really good read. I only read a line or so and I knew exactly what you were going to say. Is it co-incidence? Both eras are so similar. We don''t know yet if AN will have the same effect as PL, only time will tell. I just hope that when AN says he wants this or that player the board goes along with him and gives him what he wants.
