  1. Excellent summary Jas, shame I didn''t bump into you, but was right at the back with that old hooligan Smudger, who true to form said his piece and took the flak from fans who didn''t agree with him and the assembled on the top table. And to those who don''t believe the club read these boards, Bryan Gunn made reference to them when directing a point at Smudger. Some excellent points made by several fans, and to the fan who called for togetherness amongst the fanbase, sorry mate, that is simply light years away and IMO is never going to be achieved again under the present people sitting on the board.
  2. I last went past about 3pm CC, was inside the ground from then in, but they hadn''t touched either my flowers, or SI''s, so here''s hoping! Plenty of very peed off people in the ground, including some of the stewards and staff who were directing fans around.
  3. They were both still there this afternoon while the Open Day was going on. I am amazed by that quite frankly, so in my view it''s money well spent.
  4. Beau and Chops, great hard hitting posts, and very apt on this oh so depressing of days. I joined the NCISA to become part of an organisation which would afford all fans fed up to the back teeth of the spin machine at Carrow Road, a real alternative. I have just returned from an Open Day like none I have ever attended. The forum had to be witnessed to be believed, some real stick issued out to the board members, Doncaster and Munby, and also some to Bryan Gunn also. Some frank and very passionate views were made. Of course there are still a lot of fans who really will follow the board''s policy to the edge of a cliff and beyond, but I sense that there are now sufficient amounts of people seeking an alternative voice and a body to campaign for change. That''s the reason I joined the committee and I hope to encourage others to do the same. I have had far more than I can take of the same old same old excuses and platitudes. It''s time for the fans who don''t support the boards'' policies to stand up and counter them. If enough of us do it it can only be good for the fans out there who feel at present there is nothing or no one to stand up for their views. I stress this is just my view and not NCISA policy, but would encourage all of you who do want change where it really counts at NCFC to put across your views within NCISA. Strength in numbers and all that.
  5. Si, that''s mine, cost me the grand total of £2.99 from Morrisons, was surprised it lasted more than 10 minutes. Just had to do it, though it was money down the drain, just don''t trust myself the way I am feeling at the moment. Never mind, got the Open Day to enjoy this afternoon!
  6. Yes, Jas, completely agree, though the thing that sticks with me, is would Delia listen, we can all argue on here forever, but she holds the power, and until she is convinced her way is wrong then nothing is going to change. Someone with football knowledge is lacking on the board, and to be blunt, always has been. That is why, we as supporters must now put real pressure on, in whatever way possible to change the thinking. Having said that the various members of the board speaking yesterday did not seem to be singing from the same hymn sheet, which was interesting to say the least.
  7. I find the worrying about the policing next season just typical of Doncaster, what about his boys in Eventguard? Once they have been taken off their current duties re removing floral tributes on the club gates, surely they can be employed to come up with a plan? Can''t they?
  8. Iwan, it starts at 1.30 pm until 6pm. Full details should be on the Official Site.
  9. I hear what you are saying Boot, and everyone of us has their own boiling point and the point where we loose all reason. The fanbase has been divided for years, long before the Worthy Out times. It was the same in the Chase Out times as well. There are fans for whoever is in charge, they can do no wrong, there are those who question certain actions, and those who just go for a game of football and don''t want to get involved in asking questions. Over Delia''s time here there has been a marked rise in a badge of loyalty towards her for "saving" us, and coupled with a well oiled (and five full time employees in the Press Office) spin machine it''s not hard to see why there are reactions such as happened yesterday at the beamback. Honestly, hand on heart I think it will be a long time before the majority of supporters see the club and how it should be run in the same way, if ever.
  10. Anonymous One, I am not sure of his email address, suffice to say most correspondence goes through Doncaster, I have in the past written to Munby (I know it''s old fashioned, but tends to get to the desired recipient, especially if marked personal). You could try that, or do an open letter to the local press, I am sure they will be collating a souvenir edition of supporter views soon enough.
  11. Vicar, I think some of these very questions might be asked this afternoon, if not answered, at least some of us able to go will have a damn good attempt putting our points to the assembled club staff.
  12. No Mystic, let''s hope Doncaster is not making the decisions re policing or anything else come next season.
  13. Ellis 206, I must admit I am stunned by your post, I always read your previous posts as being one of the more pro board people on this messageboard. Good for you re yesterday at Charlton. Can you give us some idea of the reaction you and the others got for singing it?
  14. CA, you must have had a few too many Smirnoffs yesterday afternoon, still you can make up for it today at the forum! Don''t get carried away and end up paying £200 for Fozzy''s shirt at the auction though, will you? lol
  15. I will be putting some there later this morning, and taking photos of any there for the press. I expect they will be taken down in time for the Open Day, perhaps those attending the protest can replace them?
  16. I think the attendance might swell a bit - especially for the forum. I don''t envy the board members conducting it this year. See most of you there, no doubt.
  17. Good call Shaun, and Shuck, do listen to the other caller, it just sums up the gaping divide in thinking amongst our fanbase and how difficult it will be to ever unite our club again.
  18. Pissed as a mattress, I will go further, we didn''t get relegated on 46 games, or by Roeder, we were relegated due to years of neglect re investment in the playing side, due to all profits and benefits we had being used to pay off loans, to keep us in loan players, agent fees and not forgetting excessive wages for a very large non playing staff. Under the current board the focus has not been on the team for years, if ever, and yesterday our luck, if you will, ran out. Gunn was just the latest fall guy, there have been plenty along the years. Time for massive change across the club.
  19. Ricardo, yes indeed, it will be very tough next season, for everyone associated with the club. For supporters, what players we have left, and I don''t pretend to think they will be anything other than the Luton loanees and the current academy set up, plus perhaps Cody. As for the rest, where do we start? Where the club goes from here depends of several factors. How much the board want to progress and be proactive, rather than continue their sorry trail via being reactive and how many of the fanbase press for change at the top. The rest will fall into place depending on that. Will the board actively (and by that I mean really look) for investment, putting Delia''s shares for sale at a new realistic price and making some of the conditions of sale less restrictive? Will Delia, Michael and the rest cull excess amongst the non-playing staff as they surely will instruct the same re the players. Do we expect to see Mr Doncaster and his nauseating column in the EDP next year? At board level we must insist on the current board appointing skilled people to run the club, Doncaster to have his contract terminated and to appoint a manager who has run a team successfully at this level. That for me is an absolute essential. Despite what a lot of people might believe there will be plenty of managers experienced and interested in the revival of NCFC. IF the board carry on in the same old way, then realistically I can''t see this club anywhere but the third division for a good long while, the fans will drift away and the club may never recover, ever. IF on the other hand yesterday was the first dose of reality at board level since Delia bought her first shares, then I do have hope, but only if they truly act for the good of the club and not for themselves. Smudger, Cluck, yes there is a lot to do regarding changing this club - and to be honest I think it will start to change. What kind if input the fans have is largely up to them. At the moment I sense the club''s support is divided, there are large amounts of people who truly believe Delia "saved" the club. However there are also large numbers who still remember us as a football club. Who has the largest voice with the most relevant things to say? The next few months could be interesting.
  20. Yes I will cry, and don''t mind admitting it. It won''t be the first time and I guess nor will it be the last time I have cried over our football club. To say the last month has had me wracked with nerves, sorrow, anger and the rest would be an understatement. So, yes whatever the result today, I will cry, if not just for myself and all the wonderful city fans I know personally, many of whom have been lifelong friends, but also for the great club we all support, and I am sure one day will be great again. Inchy - congratulations on your new grandchild. Another city fan!
  21. If nothing else this week will, I am sure, determine the course NCISA takes for a long period of time. Like Kathy, I largely agree with Nutty and CA, but, as with all groups, the committee have to represent all of the membership, and I can tell you, that some of them are very much in admiration of the board and what they have put into the club so far. IMO, and I hasten to add it''s just mine, I would have liked to have seen a public meeting while Roeder was still in the job, and have done ever since. I agree wholeheartedly with John''s final paragraph above. I would certainly welcome a distancing from the club (and by that I mean a distancing from the board''s policies and the surrounding spin machine).
  22. Bigfeller, I have contributed, but it took ages and is just a repeat of what I say on here really, still it''s interesting to read comments from fans of other teams. Keep up the good work!
  23. Great post Mutley, have to agree on most of it. Concentrating on the season ticket rebate, I would claim mine back as if relegated surely then I would not be paying for the same thing I was as the day I renewed. That''s the first undeniable fact. Surely it would be better for the club to start to discuss changing the renewal times. What other clubs have their first renewal date in February/March? I would however let them keep the £70 odd (I haven''t worked out the exact amount to be honest) on the following conditions: Mr Doncaster leaves the club with immediate effect. Delia and Michael consider a more realistic price on their shareholding. The board appoint some competent people to run the club in the interim of finding replacements for Delia and Michael. Questions asked are actually answered re Cullum, the Turners'' departure and why we have so many people at the club in a non playing capacity. The board can convince me they are working towards a well thought out strategy for moving the club forward, ideas for bringing in additional revenue. The club appoint a manager for next season who has some experience of managing a club at our level and of achieving promotion and building a squad without using loan players unless absolutely necessary. There is great accountability for all employees of the club, particularly at management level. For those on the board who still think we are a "well run club" think again.
  24. Yes, remember it well Mr Carrow, you can always be guaranteed some sort of floor show at every AGM. I wasn''t aware of the WOTB stuff, but spoke to Keith at the event this year and he seemed very subdued after what had happened when he asked those questions. Funnily enough while he was speaking there was a few of us clapping and encouraging him, I think Mystic (now called Canary Cherub) was one. I was another, the looks and comment I got spoke volumes for a long percentage of the shareholders. Rule One: Sit in strategic positions at them all, or better still stand at the back. At the AGM that year only a handful of people opposed the re election of Delia and Michael, and this year there were few opposing Munby, but a few more stuck their hands up opposing Doncaster. As has been said in posts above, the Shareholders Meetings are strange events, including much stage managed stuff it has to be said. Although much was concentrated on Roeder and his behaviour/remarks it has to be said no one could have anticipated what he was going to say and I think the responses he drew from some shareholders did then take away much flak the board were due to receive. Andy Larkin questioned Delia closely and the board of directors did admit they hadn''t a clue where to go next. That in itself is no small achievement. I have attended AGMs for the last five years or so and have to say dissent and anti board feeling is probably in the minority at these things. Solution: Sell a few more shares to the wider fanbase, particularly to those who haven''t so far had a chance to buy them. Might even up things a bit, plus provide revenue for the club.
  25. We have been to Scotland before on more than one occasion, have followed them around there and it was a great holiday, sure it shows that we are where we are, but in the circumstances I can''t say I am surprised at their choice. As for football preparation, they could always just spend longer training at Colney and find more clubs to come to Carrow Road for pre season matches there.
