Wigan vs Swansea- match thread

Recommended Posts

FA Cup Final must surely be on their minds.  When Wigan got in front, they looked clueless, should we attack, should we defend, Cup Final in 4 days, don''t want to get injured................

We need a favour from Paul Lambert in the last game of the season. How much did we appreciate him? Were we nice to him on Saturday?

Brilliant Mr Chops !

Incidentally, that bloke we all booed when Swansea played us not so long back, that''s him what just scored.

Right now I could kiss him. But not in a gay way.

Mark Lawrenson, at DW Stadium for 5 live Sport

"It was a total mess for Wigan. What a transition. It''s not that Swansea are playing really well, it''s that Wigan are all over the place. That was a catalogue of errors. Every single defensive player for Wigan has made a major mistake in this game."

Wigan 2-3 Swansea

Ben Davies and Michel Vorm clash heads as they both attempt to get something on a Wigan set-piece. The referee has stopped the match and on come the stretchers. Both men looks conscious, but hurting.

We won''t get it. We have to assume that he would let Wigan win to relegate us if Villa are safe.

Don''t ever forget that Paul Lambert is a winner (in his own mind). If there is something that can be won he will want to win it be that the premier league title or be that the three points from Wigna on the last day of the season.

Did his three years at City teach you nothing?

Wigan 2-3 Swansea

Ten minutes remain on the clock at the DW Stadium, but there is going to be plenty more injury time to play as the medical staff continue to work on Michel Vorm and Ben Davies. Roberto Martinez is using the time to issue instructions on the sidelines.

I think there''s one circumstance that may override that.

Let''s just hope and pray that Vorm''s substitution doesn''t change anything.
