ALL THE TEAMS AROUND US STRENGTHENED

Recommended Posts

Stop whining. QPR have just bought loads of players, not really strengthened.

Villa,Soton haven''t really either. Reading who have they bought?

Guess what - you can''t always get everything you want but it''s worth trying.

We were 7 points off relegation before even signing Becchio and Kamara and Reading/Saints/Villa/Wigan haven''t brought in anyone of note.

Who strengthened aside from Sunderland, Newcastle and QPR. I cant recall West Ham, Southampton, Reading, Villa, Wigan, Fulham making any huge signings that made me think wow.

yes they all signed players for multi million fees, reading got Akpan from Crawley and Blackman from Sheff Utd, Southampton signed a guy from Norway, QPR we all know what they did, Villa signed a French League 2 player and a loanee from spurs with no first team games, so yes they have REALLY strengthened havent they?

Really poor transfer window by the club. It was clear to everyone that we needed to strenthen the starting 11 and yet all we have managed to do is slightly strenthen the bench. It may not relegate us but it certainly hasn''t improved our chances.

QPR have only strengthen in getting players that need to strengthen there wallets and egos

Villa haven''t improved

Newcastle have improved in French speaking courses

Southampton have improved on there ability to sack a manager that was doing well.

Reading are going about their business as usual they always come good in the 2nd half of the season.

West ham are getting worse every game.

And we are still 7 points clear with the bad run that will end Saturday with a win against queens park egos

There doesn''t seem to have been much movement generally in this window and with deals up the line needed to set off chain reactions it must have been difficult to make something happen.

Luciano becchio better than moro and Jackson?

If the answer is yes then explain how we haven''t strengthened....

We will be top half by end of February.... Half the people on here will "have never doubted the new signings"....Yeh...right...

Would you rather we spent well over £20million and wages of 100k each to sign 2 European players, (only 1 of which had intrest from another club) wasted money on a Korean full back, signed an ex England player who''s only managed 10 games in the last 2 years, 6 at champ level, a Spurs youth teamer and signed someone from Portsmouth?

Villa only signed 2 youngsters with no top flight experience and an MLS player.

Saints have signed 1 player I think

Wigan signed their old captain Scharner and 1 or 2 other nobodies

Reading signed 1 defender I think

Newcastle have strengthened and will pull away, at least they''ll all understand each other

Whilst I''m disappointed we didn''t get Hooper or RVW, lets be realistic, we have better striking options than we had, so we have strengthened.  We will stay up and we will the biggest transfer budget any NCFC manager in history has had.
