nutty nigel 7,902 Posted October 31, 2012 Greetings PUPs and welcome to week 12 of Rays Funds of our Rays Funds season. This week we hope to have a real legend with Yankee Canary in charge and making the final selections. Of course Yankee is the only PUP to have recorded 4 wins in the final selections but his contribution is much more than that because he is also a poster who’s advice I set great store by and also has a knack of knowing the help I need from so far away. Yankee’s record speaks for itself. He was our first ever winner of the final six and followed it up the very next week with another win. And of course he’s won again twice since. Yankee was also the first winner of our PUPs League and has been a really consistent picker throughout the six season’s he’s been selecting. This season he’s on 91% with 10 correct picks from 11 selections. Now I say “we hope to have Yankee in charge” because He’s in New Jersey and they are having a tough time of it at the moment. Yankee emailed me to say that they were expecting that storm and we left it that if he didn’t email me by this evening we’d put a contingency plan into action. Tilly is that plan but no way is he a plan B. Tilly is one of our most consistent PUPs and a great supporter of these threads on here and to me personally. Tilly is also on 91% this season after picking 10/11. He also finished last season on 92% so his selections are always worth considering in the final six. Of course many of you know Tilly personally from our meets and various other functions. I always look out for Tilly at the various club meeting and functions I attend. I know he will give me stick but I also know I’m always made to feel welcome in his company. So whichever of these top PUPs takes charge this week I think we have a really grerat chance of recording another win for the academy. But they will still need our help and don’t forget your selection must be on Bet365 if it’s to be considered for the final six. I’ll be back late this evening to confirm this week’s picker. It’s looking increasingly like it will be Tilly as it seems New Jersey took a real hammering and many are still without power. Let’s send the power of the PUPs to Yankee with our best wishes. As always I leave you with Rays signature which now reads :- Carve their names with pride.Yankee,4,Fellas,3,P''boro,2,Mr Chops,2,NewYork, Inch High,3, Blahblahblah, NCFC_Shaun, 1st Wazzock,2, Fonejacker,3, Norfolkbroadslim, Norfolkchance1, Scooby,3, Trent Canary, Cosmic Twin, Graham Humphrey, Leedscanary, NcfcStar, Herman, Delia’s Devonshire Dirtbox, Lappinitup, Statto, Mandie Moo, Mr Bump, Kathy, yes Norfolkchance1 £1798 for the Academy,so far. PurpleCanary 6,378 Posted October 31, 2012 Keeping a hopeful but doubtful eye on odds for a game in the second tier in Hong Kong. Assuming none appear, then it is off to the Turkish second tier:Adana Demirspor to win at home against Ankaragucu.Adana are only seventh, while Ankaragucu are eighteenth and bottom. But Adana have won their last four league games by 4-2, 2-0, 4-1 and 3-2, while Ankaragucu have lost the last three by 5-1, 1-0 and 4-1, and they played tonight in the cup, while Adana have had the week free. Even if the HK game became available I would still like the look of this one. The current odds of a very competitive 1/2 possibly reflect league position rather than recent form.Good luck to all! nutty nigel 7,902 Posted October 31, 2012 No word from Yankee so now I’ll hand the thread over to Til1010. Remember there’s no pressure because we are all going to be doing our best to help you get your name in the Rays Funds Hall of Fame. We all stand together with the single aim of raising money for our great clubs academy. Good luck all you PUPs... Take it away Tilly ... the free bet is yours....... [:)].... Gingerpele 0 Posted November 1, 2012 PSV have won all five of their home games this season, scoring 20 and only conceding 3 and host Heracles who have been very inconsistent on the road and find them selves 5 places lower in the table. They haven''t lost in their last seven games, so it''s a bit risky going for a PSV win, but that''s what I''m going for.PSV vs Heracles- Home win.Good luck.
