AndyCanary 0 Posted April 18, 2010 Good video mate. For those watching the bit when the song turns into a cheer was when Doc stood forward to clap us.

Sjb 11 Posted April 18, 2010 That was brilliant, I was there my ears are still ringing from all that noise! I hardly heard charlton fans make a sound all game! Brilliant the best away game ive ever been to.
Huddy 0 Posted April 18, 2010 you perhaps dont appreciate how loud our end was untill you here from your point of view...it was rocking!!How did you get tickets in the Charlton end? Were there many other city fans around you?
woody 0 Posted April 18, 2010 Great footage Spencer - thanks! Sounds pretty loud from your vantage point.Did anyone else notice the TV sound guys moving the microphone further and further away from our end?To start it was probably 25 yards from the byline. After ~20 mins he moved it just past the halfway line. Then, shortly after, he put it the other side of the advertising boards. Finally he gave up... and was last seen actually carrying it up the steps into the North stand itself!
Lord Horn 0 Posted April 18, 2010 Great footage - have just sent it to my brother-in-law.....who supports Leeds [:D]
Satriales 215 Posted April 18, 2010 Nice to see the remaining Charlton fans giving Norwich players a round of applause as well.

Canary_on_the Trent 0 Posted April 18, 2010 Thanks guys, feeling very jealous at the moment. Wish i''d been able to go but living away from Norfolk I simply stood no chance without a season ticket.
tom1902 0 Posted April 18, 2010 from the second commentthe cheer was when lambert clapped us not doherty.hence the singing of `there only one paul lambert` shortly afterwards
ellis206 0 Posted April 18, 2010 Yeah we gathered that, it was at the point when the Doc stepped forward though
spencer 1970 180 Posted April 18, 2010 Glad you like my rough video clip folks...I just thought, if I can’t join in, I’ll film it.My cover was nearly throw a few times thoughout the game but by the final whistle I’d given up trying to hide it...I got a few glares but no more....CAFC aren’t a bad bunch. there were a few other boys dotted around. When we scored I devised a rather nifty stealth tactic of covering my face with the programme with both hands whilst shouting "YYESSS/GET IN/OTBC"etc...it worked a treat. Hopefully I won’t have to do it again.I''m in the home end again next week...thankfully that one is at Cara - so all good!
Beauseant 0 Posted April 18, 2010 Great video. I knew we were loud, but to hear it from elsewhere in the ground is amazing! I thought the Charlton fans were pretty quiet, but difficult to judge given the cacophony in our end!
Drazen Muzinic 1,302 Posted April 18, 2010 I absolutely love this.I didn''t appreciate how loud we were when I was in the middle of it.The really great thing is how much our accent comes through - "... up the football league we gew..."Great day - I''ll never forget it and I wish there were more like it! Romantic 0 Posted April 18, 2010 It''s no wonder fans from other teams compliment us when we travel! Sounds amazing from the other stand. Cheers for posting this. And fair pla to the decent number of Charlton fans who stopped by to clap the boys off and just watch it all unfold afterwards.
Divs crew! 0 Posted April 18, 2010 I was in the same stand as you spence but next to the tunnel right at the front. You can see me on the football league show (claim to fame *L) It was hard not to leap up when Norwich scored and the home fans sussed i was Norwich when i didn''t sing or cheer.Kept me mouth shut till 90 was up then i started whistling........didn''t go down to well but hey i didn''t care! Got tickets through a school friend of my son (who was in the away end) his grand dad is season ticket holder at the valley and was only to pleased to get us a ticket.Great seat and great game.......even better on the way home at Kings cross where some dejected Leeds fans got a barage of "on the ball city".......great footage spence would have been nice sitting up your end even closer to the away fans.
