Today there seemed to be a bit of a better atmosphere until we scored after 2 mins and after that everyone knew we were going to win and that killed the atmosphere.

Apart from a period in the first half, it seemed very noisy in the snakepit. But then it is hard to judge the noise from the other areas of the ground ... although block E seemed to be making quite a bit of noise [Y]

Been explained before - When we''re playing aginst a small club in a game that was too easy at times and we never looked like losing - of course the atmosphere is going to drop cause theirs not the edge of a tight game!

 

Whilst I''d agree it was quiet at times, other times their was plenty of noise!

How many times do we have to put with this "why are we quiet " comment?

We are no different to any other clubs fans.

Look at other clubs message boards and you will see the same comments.

TWTD has been full of threads complaining about the lack of atmosphere at scumsville.

Same on Leeds/Charlton/Huddersfield.

We all know that away fans make all the noise at Old Trafford/Emirates etc.

Its all nonsense.

All crowds are noisy sometimes , not so other times.

Todays atmosphere wsas killed by the early goal and a totally unadventurous opponents team and small numbers of visiting fans.

Yes second half was better but getting the second goal helped the noise level, there is always that sneeky feeling on 1-0 that they could get one back, and untill that second goes in its very tence,

Nothing to do with the old bill or police. If they do tell you to sit down, then this comes from a directive from Fifa. The police have no power to tell you to sit down.

You get told to sit down, then sing a stand up song and bang, thats what we do.

Toward the end of the first half there was a long period of near silence, but in the second half things improved and we made a fair bit of noise. Having a Yeovil fan looking exactly like Jimmy Saville helped the cause.

The stewards and police are there for a reason and that is to ensure the fan''s are safe.

95% of the time they get it right but sometimes they get it wrong and its usually those that are looking for trouble that get punished, i.e. the lad who got banned for going onto the field of play v. Swindon, he''d had similar offences in the past.
