I heard a rumour that they were meeting at a hotel/golf club in norfolk for discussions. I assumed it was nonsense but it could be true. Obviously just initial talks but at least delia is talking

This strikes me as much more of a goer than previous rumours. Not a bad track record at Birmingham; they love football; and Delia looks like she''s ready to relinquish. Maybe in a year or two, we will have a clearer perspective on the past few months; from the elevation of Bowkett through to the appointment of McNally and Lambert. There may be a strategic plan after all!

I, for one, would be delighted if they became involved. I don''t have any problems with their business which is legal and, presumably profitable.As far as I can see, S & G have been among the best football club owners of the recent crop, being prepared to invest when required but wanting the club to be run on sensible business guidelines for the long term.Might signal a return of the inflatable canary or maybe a blow-up plastic Delia (for decorative use only of course- put one in your kitchen!)
