Rays Funds with the Pink un Pickers Week 3
scrimmage replied to nutty nigel's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Sorry I''m late, I tried to pick this Rangers fixture last week so I''ll go for it this week instead. Rangers to win at home to East Fife. -
Back on topic, has anyone read the quote "he is our number two keeper" regarding Ben Foster? A bit disappointed that Ruddy isn''t number two, especially after Foster''s "retirement".

Match thread vs Hull Tiggers
scrimmage replied to Bws Cat 's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
can you believe it - virtually every ex-Norwich player has scored today - Vaughan, Cody, C Martin, Andrew Crofts etc etc
At a god awful level though. Dreadful performance from every single player on the pitch. Perhaps a weak penalty decision but no excuses are good enough to justify why we couldn''t score a goal against ten men in 70 minutes. -

Just realised it''s not East Fife playing Rangers, that''s next week. I would stay with my Rangers pick as they won 6-0 last night but to make it fair (and not a friday night pick) I will go for Ayr to beat Stranraer away from home. -

After picking top vs bottom in the Scottish League One last week, this week it is top vs second bottom as RANGERS once again will beat East Fife. -

First pick of the season is: Stranraer vs Rangers - AWAY WIN. Good luck for the season pickers. -

I knew that was coming, I don''t even know why I said that! I hoped no one had noticed! -

Neil Lennon was probably on there then. Can''t think who the others would have been though, unless Di Matteo was on there maybe? -
Well we''ve already seen him go into Carrow Road so I doubt it...

I don''t want Hughton. Sorry. -
fox jackson and ward sign new contracts
scrimmage replied to mrs miggins's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
So glad they have all signed, Fox especially. IMO him and Howson should be our CM pairing, fox can sit a bit deeper and ping balls left right and centre and Howson can run into the box as well as play killer through balls. I would prefer Fox to Johnson and would be happy with a starting midfield four next season of: Pilks Fox Howson E Bennett Also happy that Jackson is staying, he scored a few good goals last season and could kick on and score a few more this season as he has a lot more to offer than people seem to think. Great with his head and skilful, has a good shot on him and can be clever (chip v Derby for example). And obviously very quick. Ward is going to be important next year. If you ask me at the moment I would have Ward and R Bennett as out top two CBs, with hopefully Ayala pushing for Ward''s spot. R Martin will also be there or thereabouts as he showed early last season he''s a more than capable CB. -
The 2-0 loss at Blackburn.

Wouldn''t surprise me but we''ll never know. -
I won''t mind selling Holt now, there''s no point having him in the team if he''s not happy. However what I will take annoyance to is if Lambert decides he wants him at Villa. We surely can just put in the compensation agreement, as Swansea have, that he can''t raid us for a year? It would be easy to just reject any compensation agreement that doesn''t involve this clause (unless they give us £20m).
