Michael Bridges and Chris Craig on trial

Recommended Posts

Michael Bridges is an interesting on. Available for sod all and a tall target man who has proved he can score goals at this level with an unfashionable club so in theory that could be a good one.

I''ll reiterate the comment from the earlier posted though - who''s Chris Craig? Can''t find anything on him on Wiki.

Killed a police officer back in ''52.

"Let him have it, Chris"

That one.

Or more likely...

Chris Craig is a 20-year-old Scottish striker who has been with Rangers but is also now out of contract. He''s made his way through the Glasgow club''s youth set-up but has yet to make a senior appearance, having played regularly at under-19 and reserve level.

Michael Bridges has never been a targetman, more of a ''fox in the box'' type

Bridges was someone who I thought could be a decent acquisition early in the close season. I rate him, but he''s getting on a bit now...would still be a good squad player, but we''d need 1 or 2 other strikers in as well to cover for injuries.

Know absolutely nothing about Craig, but the amount of trialists we have at the moment suggests we won''t make any signings that cost a great deal anytime soon. The more we can get cheaply the better, then we can make a "big money" signing later on when money for Russel (or a player in the form of Whaley) and Clingan is available.

Is our first match tomorrow?

I do not recall this level of potential and inexpensive players that we have looked at. Gunny & Co seem to be unearthing a lot of possibles from which maybe we will get a couple of gems. Is the current regime a) doing a better job than previous ones, b) keeping us more informed or c) finding it easier because of our lower status? Hopefully the answer is a).

As soon as I read Pete''s comment I just knew I would get the blame.

Did I say anything about you being vertically challenged[:P]

Last threat I had from the Gnomes Guild mushroomed out of all proportion.

They treatened me seven of with their hit squad but Snow White intervened.

I do Simon!

I think outside the box........roughly where most of Jamie C''s shots finish!!!!!

I think Bridges could be ok, I''ve always thought he just needs a club to

settle at a la Huckerby!

OTBC!
Hmm, he said we made a bid for Paul Parry? Was this correct?
I highly doubt it. What would be the point in bidding for a player who played regularly for a good team in the Championship.

I predict today may be the last day of his twitter if he''s proven wrong.
