Norwich to be offered striker

Canaries to be offered striker

Norwich City, 18:38, December 2, 2008

Norwich boss Glenn Roeder will be offered Antoine Sibierski on a permanent basis as Wigan look to offload the striker.

Sibierski is currently on loan with the Canaries but Wigan are looking

to sell in a bid to raise cash to fund signings of their own and will

offer him to Roeder permanently. It

remains to be seen whether Roeder would be able to afford a permanent

deal as the transfer fee involved may be too much, while the player''s

wage demands could also be excessive. In which case Wigan could offer him to other clubs and Norwich could end up losing him when the transfer window opens.

[quote user="AndyJR"]Roeder could always try using him in Midfield, or is that too easy?

No chance. As many claimed when he signed, he is the final piece of the jigsaw that target man we need.........

Isn''t his contract meant to expire in the summer?

Given his age I can''t see anyone paying a transfer fee for him.

Pants innit, we get offered Sibi and Real Madrid get offered Huntelaar.

Shame it has not worked out, I think if we had been offered Sibi, most would have taken him and the partneship, albeit loan between Sibi and Lita looks brilliant on paper.

Please no, no, no!!!

What kind of deal would he be on if he were to sign? Have we seriously got the money for a deal? Is he good enough?

We are fast tracking to League One without this. Good, Wigan, please offer him to someone else, he''s done hardly anything of note here.

Pathetic if it happens, and if we scrape money together for him rather than any other player I will stop supporting football full stop! He is awful and I would much rather see Renton given a run as he is after all the supposed future of the club.....

But surely he would stop being a loan player and then automatically begin bleeding Yellow and Green?

One of your own? No?[:)]

This post totally sums it up!

Don''t think he''s given us anything to bother signing him for!

Maybe it was one of those ''loans with the intentions of buying'' things? I remember us loaning Etuhu, everyone realising he was crap and then still having to fork out £500k the minute the transfer window opened

I hope he doesnt stay. I am almost at the point of not renewing my season tckt, I think that would be the deciding factor if I had to watch him fall over every week
