jetstream 0 Posted November 4, 2008 "Norfolk businessman and staunch Canary fan Carl Moore will continue to help to finance the loan. Mr Moore, who previously made a generous contribution towards the wages of Darren Huckerby when he first came to Carrow Road, helped support Lita''s original deal - and he will continue to make a substantial contribution during the extended period of his loan."from the official site. So, hats off to Mr Moore (again). Why isn''t he on the board again? WeAreYellows49 0 Posted November 4, 2008 Oh dear so he did partly finance it again, one of these days CM will turn round and say ''''sorry no more money''''.
William Darby 0 Posted November 4, 2008 IMO, it''s the kind of ''investment'' the club likes. Maximum cash for little board input
T 190 Posted November 4, 2008 So we should be grateful for CM contributions but not for the Board''s larger contributions which they may or may not get back at some stage? Cash is cash

AndyJR 0 Posted November 4, 2008 Taken from canaries.co.uk. For those that can''t do linkage............ LITA LOAN EXTENDED Posted on: Tue 04 Nov 2008 CITY can confirm Leroy Lita''s loan deal has been extended until December 7.The original loan period would have meant that Saturday''s game against Burnley would have been the Reading striker''s last game for the Canaries, but Steve Coppell has agreed to extend the former England Under-21 international''s stay at Carrow Road. The terms will potentially allow the 23-year-old to play in the East Anglian derby against Ipswich Town on December 7. However Reading have the ability to recall the striker at 24 hours'' notice. href="http://adserver.adtech.de/adlink|3.0|512|1279603|0|170|ADTECH;loc=300;key=key1+key2+key3+key4;grp=[group]" target="_blank">src="http://adserver.adtech.de/adserv|3.0|512|1279603|0|170|ADTECH;loc=300;key=key1+key2+key3+key4;grp=[group]" border="0" width="300" height="250" alt="Click here"> Since joining Norwich last month, Lita has scored four goals in six appearances for the Club. Norfolk businessman and staunch Canary fan Carl Moore will continue to help to finance the loan. Mr Moore, who previously made a generous contribution towards the wages of Darren Huckerby when he first came to Carrow Road, helped support Lita''s original deal - and he will continue to make a substantial contribution during the extended period of his loan. jetstream 0 Posted November 4, 2008 "So we should be grateful for CM contributions but not for the Board''s larger contributions which they may or may not get back at some stage? Cash is cash"It is slightly different though isn''t it?Moore''s cash is a donation, he never expects to see it again.Delia/MWJ''s (very welcome) £2m in the summer was in the form of ''a loan''. OK, technically they may not get it back but it''s not written off is it?Depending on the terms of any future takeover it might be waived but it''s not guaranteed. blinded by the story 0 Posted November 4, 2008 Carl Moore has given more cash to the club than Delia.Delia will get hers back as its a secured loan.Think on all those that say Delia saved the club.......................

Nonetheless as every one else has said, a big thank you to Carl Moore and a shame we have to rely on this form of player funding.
T 190 Posted November 4, 2008 PC offered the shareholders nothing and as I said elsewhere from a pure economiv cash flow stand point most football clubs are worthless so there is no guarantee that they will get their money back or any return. They are still providing 2m cash to support the player budget, something which a bank would never do. The opportunity cost of the various shareholders loans in terms of lost interest/investment opportunity is probably similar to what CM is putting in plus they risk losing their capital. I''m suprised giving the talks of protest some people are not criticising CM for supporting the current regime. It seems different standards apply to different individuals and to what posters would be willing to do themselves.
Bury Yellow 2 Posted November 4, 2008 Hi T, love Delia and hate Peter Cullum don''t you mate?
blahblahblah 2 Posted November 4, 2008 Carl Moore is a star. Quite frankly I don''t blame him for not wanting a place on the board though. Who needs the hassle of supporting the expectations of being one of 25 teams who believe they''re good enough for the Premiership, but don''t have the money to compete ? This way he gets to help out, without having people calling him whatever the label is this week for being a board member. It won''t come as a surprise, but I agree with T. It seems that some people are only happy when other people are throwing money at the club unconditionally.
Beauseant 0 Posted November 4, 2008 Hat''s off once again to Mr Moore. However, the hypocrisy and double standards of some people on this forum takes my breath away.
canarytom 0 Posted November 4, 2008 Whilst he is rich, he is no way as rich as Delia so doubt he can afford to get himself on the board

Beauseant 0 Posted November 4, 2008
Not at all - don''t love or hate any of them and would like to see PC takeover for the record.
Come on T, tell them that you want Preston to win on Saturday and that relegation would be good for the club because that would force Delia out (regardless of whether we had a replacement). That''s the only way to prove you''re a true fan as opposed to a milk drinking, Hyundai driving, beige cardigan wearing ,mint sucking board apologist.Oh,and insult people more and swear a lot in your posts.[:P]
