Does she go to every away match? I saw her at ipswich away this year and i saw mumby at coventry away last season. (not that mumby has nothing to do with it)I also want to hear your opinions. I really like delia and i believe that she is a great figurehead at the club and also a great person whos heart is in the club.

Yes she does pretty much go to every game, as far south as Plymouth and as far north as Preston I have seen her.

I like her as a person, I have met her many times and even shared a platform with her at a couple of forums, but as our figure head I think her time is up (and I am sure she would like go to for the right price).

As a person Delia is great. it''s not her fault she can''t spend the millions others can.(If she had it i''m sure she would)  She made her money from advising the country on decent cooking rather than say.....running arms forums... Yes she wants to sell. Let''s hope someone can turn up, possibly in a strategically placed EDP article and commit to putting say....£20M into the playing squad... Have we been here before?.... Mr Cullum, are you still out there??.....

Just a fan, who was lucky enough to be involved with one of the supporters groups and got to meet Delia and the board many times. 

...and for all my knockings of the board in recent times, they were always fantastic and could not do enough for the fans.  Thats why I find the SCG & NCISA knockers so dislikeable! Lets face it how many other clubs boards who pitch up in Blackpool or London for a fans fourm!  Not many!

She has just been shown on TV in the last few minutes coming out of Ashton Gate last week after the game where Gordon Ramsey confronted her with a recording he had made of him getting one over on her by attending one of her cooking and dinner sessions at Carrow Rd earlier in the week in disguise. He referred to her as ''Saint Delia'' and was very complimentary. Not that means a f*#king lot coming from him, but he did where a Norwich City scarf and a City beanie out of respect...a bit surreal!

The Norwich City scarf and beanie were provided by the TV company. At the moment they are refusing to say how much the Ramsey makeover cost but we''ve tracked down the makeover artist and of course we are promoting her business[:P]

He also uses doubles[:#] - one of which is  a factory worker in Mr Cullum''s county of residence[:|]

She''s okay to deal with (not qualified to say about the football) journalistically and we have hopes in this area (journalistically, not football).

Great woman without a doubt.

She does, and always will love this club, and by all means her heart is and always will be in the right place for Norwich.

However money is the name of the game now, and she just can''t compete,

simply. It''s nothing against her as a person, but there''s no way that

the finances she has available can keep the club on a par with others

in the league. You can''t be worth 20 Million, and keep 25,000 fans

happy on a weekly basis basically. At least not in the world of

football.

But it does break my heart when i think of how devoted she has been

over her time here, and how much she has contributed to the club. A bit

like how i felt with Darren Huckerby when he left "Cheers for

everything, but your just not good enough for us anymore, so... bye!"

and toss them out the door as if they had never step foot in Carrow

Road, let alone made history at the place.

Again, great woman, but simply can''t do what is required with her kind

of finances. So she has to go, at least at some point in the next 2 or

3 years, or we simply will collapse, and despite what she has done, the

clubs well being must come first, and her losing ownership is the only

way for us to at least keep afloat.The people who hate her are idiots though, no question, and there''s no place for them at the club in my eyes. Tell them to stay at home or go to Portaloo Road, cos their certainly not wanted or needed here.Disagree, or (constructively) criticise, fine. Hate though, and you can bugger off as far as I''m concerned!

Nope, no longer on any committees.  I am a member of Ncisa and another long distance supporters group, although I do live less than 2 miles from CR now.

That was great TV and once again great coverage and exposure for our club and sponsors, this has also been followed up with plenty of cuttings in the press.

This is why Delia is so good for our club, trouble is most people of here don''t recognise this!!

Good for our club in some ways yes but the fact still remains that she''s presided over a series of catastrophic decisions during her tenure that have in no small way contributed to our present position. Sadly she has neither the financial clout or business nous to move us forward (or indeed to prevent a steady decline) although very few people would dispute that her heart is indeed in the right place. The impact of the softer issues that she is good at play only a small part in the harsh world of soccer today.

I find it quite interesting all the posters running Delia down because"she hasn''t got the funds to move us forward".  Maybe they she just be very grateful that she has got the funds, and used them to keep us where we are.

There are a lot of clubs who would be very grateful of her investment.

good post john! hard to disagree... i do think Delia needs to go within the next 12 months though.. 2-3 years might see the game move on without us! a risk we cant take

I agree. That was the main problem with Chase. We got relegated at just the wrong time and football moved on leaving us behind.
