Erik Fuglestad 0 Posted October 29, 2008 last night after the game shaking people hands saying thank you for your support and keep coming.this is a usual end of season gesture, any ideas why he was doing it last night?
Captain Holt 580 Posted October 29, 2008 He done it at Coventry last year and that wasn''t the last game of the season.
Chrisr 0 Posted October 29, 2008 I''ve been to loads of away games where Roger Munby has been outside shaking hands and talking to the fans. One memorable occasion after a freezing evening away at Bolton (we lost suprise) he was asked what he thought by a fan. "Bloody awful" was the reply. Honest and always approachable i''ve found. So no not unusual.
nutty nigel 7,902 Posted October 29, 2008 Yes Chris, nothing unusual there. I sometimes shake my head in disbelief when I see him. He''s also always there if something goes wrong, like when fans were left outside Kenilworth Road standing in the rain waiting for an electrician to make the lights work so we could go through that guys house into the stadium! Boardroom politics aside it''s hard not to have time for Munby "the person."

bringbackterraces 0 Posted October 29, 2008 Its a long standing joke amongst away regulars about Munby standing outside the away end after another p*ss poor performance and result! Thanks for coming! Thanks for coming! Thank you, thank you! Thanks for coming! Thanks for coming! TO WATCH THIS CRAP! - What he and everyone else is thinking but doesn''t say! Bobert 0 Posted October 29, 2008 I have a lot of time for Roger. He would have made a good MP for Norwich. Delia did a good job for herself and the Club when she took him on board. On a different tack was GR right about the linesman at Derby? Was he right about LL being played onside?

FASTasHUCK 0 Posted October 30, 2008 Yeh Roger''s a good guy. On the topic of the Lino he was inexpliciply awful there was several times where lita was onside, proper wound me up and if i was in roders position i would of given him some grief too.
barclay_troy 0 Posted October 30, 2008 The away games ive been to and seen RM outside, it seems, like me he just wants to have a fag because of the stress of watching Norwich.

BIC 0 Posted October 30, 2008 Funny how to everyone else he comes across as a charmer, but to the board''s biggest attention seeker and resident idiot, he comes across as arrogant and two faced.Perhaps you want to work out why that is

He will always stay and talk and discuss any problems and I have never known him to dodge confrontation from anyone about the club.I only wish this were true of all the board.Commercial over[:D]

Robert Chase is a Norwich City fan and a decent person. He made mistakes and got caught out. Many of us didn''t believe all the personal allegations about him, the calling him dishonest and accusing him of lining his pockets with the football clubs money. We just didn''t like the way he was running our football club.Nigel Worthington is a good honest manager who had done well at this football club and always believed he still could even when most fans wanted a change. The personal insults thrown his way were disgraceful. I won''t list them all here but many of them had nothing to do with managing a football club but were nasty and vindictive to him as a person.Roger Munby may well be in the PR business but like Delia Smith, MWJ, and Neil Doncaster he is always approachable at football grounds all around the country. Always happy to talk about the game and performances in victory and defeat. This has been the case for the last 10 years and not just since the no smoking legislation came in. Those that accuse them of only being visible when the cameras are there are in truth fans who only see the games when the cameras are there.Fans may well have different views to the board on the way the football club is run but where is the need for uninformed personal jibes like these? corbs 0 Posted October 30, 2008 Yep. Truth is we have a decent lot running our Club. This does not mean that they always get it right, or that we do not need new blood and new investment, but it does mean the self-righteous, self-appointed, key-board moaners can take a jump in the Wensum! So don''t worry nigel, as I''m sure that your voluminous writings in support of various causes will not have gone unreported to the top table.By the way, have you ever considered how intrinsically undemocratic, elitist and classist ''top tables'' and ''directors boxes'' are in the context of an avowedly community organisation held in trust pro tempore for the good people of Norfolk? But, I digress............OTBC
