colneycanary 0 Posted August 7, 2008 One such youngster that is rumoured to have caught Roeder''s eye is Tottenham''s Czech striker Tomas Pekhart, 19, who recently claimed a hat-trick for a Spurs XI as they defeated Rushden & Diamonds 4-2 at Nene Park. We don''t want anymore youngsters please!!!!!
Evil Monkey 52 Posted August 7, 2008 I doubt Roeder would let Martin out on loan unless he had anotherstriker in the bag, as it were... can see an announcement later todayor tomorrow coming...

Anything about Ameobi?[/quote]Unless i am getting confused with someone else''s post a couple of days ago, KB said that Martin and Spillane were going out on loan. When KB asked about Ameobi, Roeder wouldn''t confirm or deny it just saying someone would be arriving in the next 48 hrs. We don''t know for sure whether the conversation actually happened or not, thats why it got taken off.

paul ncfc 0 Posted August 7, 2008 It''s probably Gibbs from Arsenal and has more than likely been agreed for a long time with chum Wenger.

As far as I''m concerned, if they''re good enough they''re old enough, and if GR thinks they''re good enough then that''s good enough for me..................... Norma Stick 0 Posted August 7, 2008 Can''t see Mick Harford taking any sh!t from Martin and Spillane. Just what the little upstarts need, a firm kick up the arse when they step out of line.
DDD In The Fine City 1 Posted August 7, 2008 Look out the pubs of Luton! here comes Rossi, Spillane and Martin. How long before Martin gets banned from the pubs down there?

Just hope he gets his head down and does the potential he has justice.

O.T.B.C 1 Posted August 7, 2008 The hardest manager in the league will sort them out, seeing what the lower leagues are like, should be enough to either kick start their footballing lives or completely finish them. Hope the former, we all like local boys to come through.
Tangible Fixed Assets anyone? 0 Posted August 7, 2008 Bye bye Martin and Spillane.
FilletTheFishWife . 0 Posted August 8, 2008 why can''t people wish them well?both are young with potential. Chris Martin helped us spare relegation 2 seasons ago but a bit of bad press and so many are quick to jump on the bandwagon as if to justify Glen''s appalling treatment of those he has chosen to ostracise. (which if based primiarily on his misdemeanours reek of hypocrisy when compared to the tap on the wrist MP got).

I really hope Martin gets 20+ goals because it would great to see him get back on track with City. It would be great to have a young local lad playing for City in the first 11.
