Forson; Back in training today or tomorrow

Recommended Posts

Great news, I do like young Forson and I must admit I was concerned when he took that tumble and seemed to be in serious discomfort....I thought it was a shoulder dislocation and gone are the days of slip a cricket ball in the armpit and lever down and pop it back in....

Anyway at least there's something to bring us a bit o' cheer.....

This is great news if true.  Was hoping it was a more simple dislocation, but was concerned as they didn't try to pop it back on the night.

It probably just needed a bit more time for the painkilling injection to kick in than he was allowed on the pitch.

The pain he was showing reminded me of Nunez reaction when he got injured.  As Wagner later alluded to, Nunez had never experienced anything like that on the field before, so the reaction at the time made it looked so much worse.

I do wonder with Forson being so young if that's the first time he's had to endure something similar in a live match too, his reaction for sure would make the medical team much more cautious in the situation, and like the Nunez injury I was similarly concerned seeing him in pain.

I think they tend to be a bit more cautious now. When I did mine I had gas whilst they popped it back in.

I also had a broken shoulder socket and I'll never know if it was caused by the initial impact in the first place, or by the doctor popping it back in.

Anyway, great news about Forson, but if we sign anymore midfielders this week he might only make the bench. Schwartau is already looking some player!

From the Pink Un's live coverage of JHT's press conference:

"Forson trained today, and they'll see how he is tomorrow before deciding whether he can feature against Coventry."

This is good news, we need him especially as it looks like we're going to miss out on our final targets in the window

Right, so he made a load of fuss about nothing.  Ye gods , it looked like we'd not see him  again  before Christmas...2025.

Good news.  Not  convinced by him Playing wise just yet as looks lightweight and wants too much time on the ball but we will know more about him after 20 or so games.

Agree that he looks lightweight, but he gets around well and seems to have some spirit about him. He's definitely shown enough quick touches (particularly that really nifty one to redirect the ball into Sargent's path for his goal against Sheffield United) to make me think he could become very well accustomed to English football given more time and patience, but only time will tell.

His assist wasn’t too bad Saturday though

Does Phil Foden look too lightweight? Don't agree that he looks to take too much time on the ball, see his assist for exhibit A. He looks an excellent prospect and more than capable of being a top level champs player this season with a small amount of acclimatisation. Great news he could be available.

Very much looks like a rather classic Norwich style attacking winger/midfielder hybrid. Short, physicaly weak but sure knows how to pass and dribble well

He will develop a nouse to deal with bigger players, he will need more than 3 weeks of championship football to get that though
