Whilst they were great, Axl is showing signs of his voice deteriorating a bit, still he's 61 and milesĀ better than Elton.

It was good to see some bona fide rock stars on the Pyramid Stage, bit of a dying breed.

True enough, and actually theĀ band asked me to deputise, but my hair stylist couldn't get me ready in time.

GnR were appalling last night. Axl was embarrassing and I managed to clean the house and walk the dogs three times during one Slash guitar solo. Lizzo on the other hand was entertaining and fun. Music all about opinions and taste...

Cat Stevensā€™s set worth catching, for those into that kind of thing.

If you want proper rock and roll, check out the Viagra Boys.. more rock and roll in their little finger than GnR.. just retire for god sake... Duff is cool though

Glastonbury stopped being a rock festival a number of years ago, now it's just a "family fun weekend"

Wrong. It's a very expensive family fun weekend.Ā

Is that Glen Matlock on bass for Debbie Harry?.....

The drummer for Blondie plays in a Blondie cover band in his spare time.Ā

Hard to disagree on the Arctic Monkey first album is a stone cold classic hard to imagine writing songs as good as a certain romance as a teenager.

As for the Foo Fighters I wonder if Therapy think as the Foo clearly stole there sound.

You're going nowhere with that argument my friend.

Yes just caught Rick, certainly put some effort in. Saved the day for many I suspect.

Panic Meat Streakers, not a huge fan but more talented than some on display.Ā

Nothing worse than an act playing their latest album at a festival.

No sir, I want to hear their NEXT albumĀ

I want to hear the song they wrote 30 minutes ago in the dressing roomĀ

I want to see the new guitarist looking around in panic as the rest of the band play a song he doesn't knowĀ

I want to see a member of the audience given the guitar and asked to play along

I want to see the singer and keyboardist play one song, while the rest of the band, who were recruited the day before, play an entirely different song. At the same time.

I want to see the singer's mic passed around the crowdĀ

I want to see the singer walk off stage, then spookily hear his voice as he sings from the dressing room.

I want to see a fight on stageĀ

I want to listen to the song with a bassline of just 3 notes dragged out for at least 12 minutesĀ

I want to see the singer turn the guitarist's amp off

I want to see 2 drummersĀ

I want to see 2 bassists

I want to see 2 drummers AND 2 bassists at the same timeĀ

....

I don't ask for much šŸ˜Š

That's the last thing I want, I've noticed a few cardboard signs saying " I play drums" etc. It's no better than "can I have your shirt please"

Arctic Monkeys are an average band with an above average debut album. The Foos are a good band but totally overrated. Cat Stevens knocked it out of the park for me. GnR were okay but the sound seemed off as you couldn't hear Axl Rose clearly enough. Elton is likely to be terrible - his voice is shot. Manics were great. Looking forward to Lil Nas X.

And Mr Evis is no longer the quaintbold hippy but a business man.Ā

People paying Ā£6 for a can. Stall holder said he has to pay Ā£30K for the pitch.

I reckon the Saudis will buy it out soon and Ronaldo will headline with his AI band.

I'd need to check the one about performing a song they wrote in the dressing room, though I'm pretty sure they pulled something like thatĀ

The others are all true. I witnessed some, but not all. There is a bootleg of The Fall playing 2 songs at the same time on their American tour of 2006

A guy I used to know,Ā StuartĀ Estell, got given the guitar at a Fall gig in 1998 at Camden. I don't think he was holding up a sign! This was a few weeks after the band imploded at Brownies in New York. All that was left was Smith, Julia Nagle on Keyboards, and a drummer calledĀ Kate, who was recruited after the Brownies gig. They played 2 gigs in Camden. Smith wouldn't cancel the gigs, so they went with what they had šŸ¤£

I was at one of those gigs , sadly not the one Stu got the guitarĀ

I understand your point, but normal rules never applied toĀ The Fall
